Chapter 43 - 《DXD: Multiverse Journey》Chapter 43: Unlimited Cheats, Unlimited Fun—The Ultimate Artifact: Time Chamber

Lightning still danced in the sky, each technique more dazzling than the last. The sheer spectacle left everyone speechless—awe written on every face.

Akeno was the first to break the silence, her voice tinged with self-mockery. "Shuo-chan, you really know how to make a girl feel inadequate."

Shuo just smiled. "Come on, Akeno, don't measure yourself against me. You'll only get more frustrated." He softened his tone, turning practical. "When you train later, try out the moves I showed you, or invent some new ones. If you hit a wall, just ask."

He glanced at Kiyome. "I'll go over your training plan in a bit. For now, let's bring Rias back—I'm about to show you all what real cheat mode looks like."

Akeno called Rias over. The whole group gathered, curiosity burning in their eyes.

Shuo met their expectant gazes with a sly, mysterious smile, then produced a tiny house model from his pocket.

Everyone stared, baffled.

Akeno raised an eyebrow, her tone half teasing, half incredulous. "Shuo-chan, this is your cheat? Since when are you into kids' toys?"

Shuo's lips curled into a mischievous grin. "Don't judge by appearances. What I'm holding is a game-changer. Once you hear what it does, you'll lose your minds."

Rias rolled her eyes, a playful challenge in her voice. "Enough with the suspense, Shuo-chan. Spill it—what's this all about?"

He relented, adopting a storyteller's cadence. "This is called the Chamber of Time and Spirit. Inside, you've got everything: food, water, spacious rooms. The air's thin, temps swing from fifty above to forty below, and gravity's ten times Earth's. The place is as vast as the cosmos."

He paused, letting the wonder settle in. "But here's the real kicker: spend a year inside, and only a day passes outside. It's the ultimate training ground. But there's a catch—each person can only enter for two days of real-world time in their entire life. Stay longer, and the exit vanishes. You'll never get out."

The group was thunderstruck.

One day inside equals a year of training outside.

Shuo's words hit like a bolt from the blue. Rias and the others just stood there, minds racing, unable to process the scale of the advantage.

"Changing the flow of time… that's…"

"Nangong-senpai, you're not joking, right?"

"This is… honestly, it's unbelievable."

"Shuo-chan, you're not just messing with us, are you?" Rias's voice trembled with excitement and disbelief.

Shuo laughed at their reactions. "No joke. The Chamber can morph into any training environment you want—and it warps time itself."

He drove the point home. "You're not limited to seven days before the Rating Game. With this, you get over two years and five days of real training. So—now that you've got my cheat, do you think you can smack down that turkey?"

The mood flipped instantly. Eyes lit up, faces flushed with excitement. The room buzzed with ambition.

"Shuo-chan, let us try it—now!" Rias was practically bouncing, urging Shuo to open the Chamber.

Shuo didn't hesitate. He tossed the tiny house into the air. It grew rapidly, expanding from palm-sized to a full-scale building in seconds.

Everyone gawked at the transformation, awe and delight mixing in their expressions.

They approached the entrance. Shuo pulled out his phone, ready to time their stay.

Since no one had actually set foot inside yet, they decided to send in a test subject.

Akeno volunteered with a playful smile. "Ara ara, I'll go first!"

Shuo stopped her briefly. "Don't wander too far once you're in. It's easy to get lost."

Akeno nodded, then opened the door and stepped inside. Instantly, she felt the heavy pull of increased gravity, pressing down on her body. The chamber stretched out in every direction—an endless white expanse, surreal and mesmerizing.

She remembered Shuo's words about it being a training artifact, so she decided to test it out. Raising her hand, she unleashed her strongest lightning attack at the ground.

The result? Nothing. The floor remained pristine, not a single scorch mark.

Akeno was stunned. Even her most powerful attack couldn't scratch the place. But that was good news—no need to worry about damaging the chamber during training.

She spent about an hour exploring, then made her way back to the door.

Outside, Rias and the others blinked in confusion when she emerged so quickly.

"Akeno, why'd you come out so soon? It's barely been a second!"

Akeno explained, "I was inside for nearly an hour!"

Everyone's amazement deepened.

"It's the perfect training artifact!" Rias exclaimed, her excitement contagious.

"And that's not all," Akeno added, "the gravity inside is nearly ten times what it is out here, and the space is virtually endless. The chamber's durability is insane—even my full-power attack couldn't leave a mark. It's a natural training ground!"
