After saying goodbye to Grayfia, Shuo wasted no time—he found Akeno and shared the news: her mother was alive.
Rias and the others crowded around, offering congratulations. Akeno's eyes shone with tears, gratitude overwhelming her.
That night, Akeno slipped into a black evening dress, her legs bare and luminous. She claimed she wanted to "reward" Shuo for his heroics.
The way she blushed, the way her voice trembled—
Irresistible.
Shuo didn't care who was watching. He caught Akeno's wrist, grinning.
"Come on. Let's go talk about this 'reward' in my room. And maybe our future, too."
"Ara ara, Shuo-chan, you little deviant! Saying that in front of everyone—how bold!"
Akeno's words were teasing, but she followed him willingly.
That night, she challenged him—and Shuo made sure she lost. Completely.
"Still think you can beat me? Dream on."
He watched her sleep, a smug smile on his lips.
Before drifting off, he checked his system rewards.
Ding! Black-tier reward opened—ten [Reincarnation Cards] acquired!
Reincarnation Cards?
How were these different from Devil Pieces?
Ding! Reincarnation Cards work similarly to Devil Pieces, but with a twist. Because of your overwhelming power, even ordinary people become far stronger as your peerage. They might inherit your abilities—and as you grow, so do they.
Shuo considered this.
Interesting. Like a miniature Gift from the Little Garden—just lower tier. Not bad. Maybe he'd recruit a few new female peerage members soon.
He pulled Akeno close, shut his eyes, and let sleep take him.
Morning arrived. Shuo looked radiant; Akeno, too, glowed with happiness. The other girls shot them dark, jealous glances.
Except for Kuroka, the black cat. She lounged on the sofa, eyes sly and calculating.
Ever since she'd asked Shuo to "make a dragon baby" with her, Shirone had been on guard. But lately, Shirone's vigilance had slipped—and with the other girls egging her on, Kuroka was ready to strike.
She purred to herself, plotting.
With Underworld business wrapped up, the group prepared to return to the human world.
But—
"Grayfia-sama? And Tiamat—the Chaos Karma Dragon?!"
Rias and the others stared, stunned, at Grayfia in her maid uniform and Tiamat in human form.
"Hehe, from now on, Grayfia and Tiamat are part of the family," Shuo announced, eyes twinkling. "Grayfia's our head maid. Surprise!"
Rias and Sona exchanged looks, mouths twitching.
They knew Shuo was a flirt—but this? He'd actually brought home the Silver-Haired Queen of Annihilation. And one of the Six Dragon Kings, Tiamat, too.
"Ugh, playboy," Irina muttered, shooting him a sideways glare.
Asia pouted, cheeks puffed, gazing at Shuo with big, pleading eyes.
"Master, ladies, the train's arrived. Shall we board?"
Grayfia's voice was cool and crisp.
Everyone filed onto the dimensional train bound for the human world.
Onboard, laughter filled the air as they swapped stories about the Underworld.
Shuo sat with Ophis—the adorable dragon—cradled in his arms, whispering secrets.
The other girls stole glances his way, a little jealous but not truly upset.
At first, Rias and the others were awkward around Ophis. But as they realized she was just a pure-hearted little girl, they couldn't help but dote on her. She became the household mascot.
Asia, with her affinity for dragons, quickly became Ophis's closest friend.
"Hmm... I never thought the Infinite Dragon God Ophis would be here," Tiamat mused, watching Ophis curiously.
"I'm waiting for Shuo to defeat the Red One. I also wait to unite with Shuo—to birth the strongest child."
Ophis snuggled closer to Shuo, her voice flat but earnest.
Tiamat blinked, then smirked. So even Ophis was in the running. That phantom dragon of Shuo's must be something special.
She rubbed her belly, feeling smug. From the sound of things, Ophis hadn't gotten her chance yet—while she was already ahead.
Wonder if she'd hit the jackpot?
Before anyone could react, Xenovia piped up.
"Wow, even Ophis-chan's a rival! Shuo-kun, let's work hard on baby-making when we get home!"
"Hey, hey, calm down, Xenovia!"
Irina facepalmed, exasperated by Xenovia's ironclad confidence.
It was like someone flipped a switch—suddenly, everyone was chiming in.
"Ara ara, I wonder if last night's battle left me with a little surprise?"
Akeno giggled, cheeks flushed.
"I'm still a vir... vir..."
Sona's face burned red; the words stuck in her throat.
"Big Brother! I... I can do it too!"
Asia rushed over, grabbing Shuo's hand, utterly flustered.
The rest of the group stared, speechless, as the girls devolved into lovesick chaos.
Kiba just smiled, quietly enjoying the spectacle.
Gasper hid in a corner, muttering, "So scary... so scary..."
Grayfia, ever the head maid, finally snapped.
"Ladies, you can't be reckless about these things. You're still students."
Her silver gaze was sharp, cutting through the commotion. The girls shrank back, chastened.
But Xenovia, as always, had no filter.
"Then can Lady Grayfia make babies with Shuo-kun? She's his wife too!"
Silence.
Every eye turned to Grayfia, expressions ranging from mischief to awe.
Even the usually composed Grayfia flushed bright red, utterly at a loss.
