Chapter 9 - A new Dawn

Sat down on his meditation mat, Wang Long calmly looked at the panel, navigating to the creation tab.

"OK let's see... First are animals... I just hope there are packages, designing a few hundred beasts would take ages"

Wang Long said slowly, beginning the filter for a basic animal package for less than 250, not wanting to make the earlier mistake and get angry at the high prices.

Finding only a couple of packages for such a low price, Wang Long found only one suitable option for his current price range. The other options all containing specific beasts with no variety, for example only basic beasts.

Name: Basic Land Beast Package

Price: 200 God Points

Description: Basic beast package with mortal beasts. The beasts within this package contain no aptitude for cultivation and are unable to gather Qi. This package contains only land animals, with reptiles, mamals, insects and birds. Only 100 of each species.

Note: The creatures have no spiritual awareness nor ability to gain cultivation so it is advised against purchasing this package.

Seeing the dismal number of creatures Wang Long couldn't help but sigh.

"That surely can't support a whole planet..."

Forced to pinch the bridge of his nose in thought, Wang Long after a short while mumbled

"I guess I'll start with a small area then... and a lot of help from Aphrodite..."

Before purchasing the package, Wang Long slowly gut up from his seat on his meditation chair.

Taking a step forward, he looked down at the deep forrest below that he teleported to. An intersection between deep forrest, an expansive plain and a desert, starting from the forrest, slowly getting more like a desert the farther out you go.

Large lakes and flowing rivers scattered throughout the plains and forrest with a few scattered oases within the desert.

"This will work for now"

Smoothly extending his arms, gracefully extending his palms upwards as the ground rumbled.

His connection to the atoms and his control over the domain, Wang Long effortlessly raised his arms.

The ground softly rumbled at first, a gentle shake causing the rustling of trees within the forrest and stirring sand in the desert.

Soon after, with care, Wang Long raised his arms slowly, grand walls of rock slowly rising, extending over 100 meters high before slowly stopping.

"That'll do it for the land animals... now those birds"

Smiling gently, Wang Long calmly put his hand s behind his back, he focused on forming a basic dome of wind.

Designed to disorient and contain but not hurt, the dome gentle and invisible.

Happy with the simple but effective design, Wang Long stepped forward once more, dissapearing into the dome.

Slowly opening the system screen, Wang Long promptly pressed create, once more having the golden aura escape him, splitting into hundreds of different forms.

Slowly forming the bones, muscles, sinew, organs.

Until finally forming dense patches of animals scattered around, each section filled with their respective species.

Moving swiftly, Wang Long encompassed each variety of creatures in a ball of Qi.

"Oh no no no, can't be having you all killing eachother now can we?"

Releasing all of the herbivores and non agressing creatures first, Wang Long watched as the creatures scattered, sounds of various grunts, snorts, chirps and various other sounds culminating together.

Scattering within the confines of the dome.

As hours passed like grains of sand, Wang Long finally released the carnivorous animals, various roaring, grunting and growls echoing.

Right after releasing them, Wang Long softly raised his hand and flicked his finger, scaring the beasts that were ready to fight one another. Scattering them like rabbits seeing a lion.

"Ah, that's it, run along little ones"

Just as Wang Long uttered those few words to himself, his gaze turned back to Aphrodite who had just awoken from her comprehension.

The void distorting in front of her as Wang Long stepped back out.

"See? I told you that it wouldn't hurt didn't I?"

Wang Long made sure to speak softly in case there was any confusion from the connection to the great dao.

Luckily, Aphroditr said back softly, her voice and posture even more alluring that before, likely being able to topple kingdoms with a glance.

"Thank you for this Grace Father, I will try my best to be the best goddess of fertility~"

"Good, then I have some mortals for you to look over, there are only a few so I'll be counting on you." He said as he gently patting her head.

"I trust that you see them already?"

With a softly giggle, Aphrodite said softly "of course father, ill do my best~"

With that, Aphrodite gently bowed with grace before faintly brushing past Wang Long, using her connection to the Dao to fly towards the Dome of animals, faster than without the dao connection.

With a faint smile, Wang Long mumbled thoughtfully "since I shouldn't get humans yet, I might as well surprise her to help motivate her"

Wang Long said softly as he looked down to the system panel.

God Points: 84

With a gentle sigh, Wang Long searched the creation tab before finding a suitable item before pausing.

"I think I'll design this one myself"

With a smile, Wang Long closed the system panel.

Purposefully ignoring his new number of points, Wang Long turned away and distorted space, teleporting kilometers away ending up besides the dome, a few kilometers outside.

Above a large singular mountain, standing at only a little more than 5km tall. A humble size, not yoo tall to be impossibly challenging but not too small to be unimpressive. Covered in dense greenery with scattered trees dotting the mountains surface.

At the very peak of the mountain Wang Long hovered. "This will do just lovely, she should like it"

Gently swiping his hand towards the very top of the mountain, Wang Long looked on with a serene expression as the mountain peak immediately split from the base, the very tip of the mountain hovering.

No sound

No immense force

It was just split. Erased.

A few meter wide gap between the peak and the base, no residue or anything.

This is the power of a true god within their domain, controlling reality as they see fit to a certain extent.

With a nod, Wang Long raised his hands, the mountain peak the had just been split slowly raised before slowly melting.

With care, Wang Long carefully rearranged the atoms of the stone and sediment of the peak, turning it into marble.

Once fully changed, Wang Long manipulated the floating marble to be split into blocks of varying sizes.

Soon thereafter, Wang Long guided the bricks to fit onto the mountain peak, forming a tight foundation, the blocks merging together to form a seamless floor.

As the foundation was finished, it formed a smooth block of marble 70m Long and 31m wide, fitting in mostly with the missing mountain peak.

Soon, Wang Long started forming the walls, supporting them with the surrounding laws, stopping the time of the blocks so they don't fall.

Once the walls were done, Wang Long formed the pillars, 4 main pillars with 2 slightly smaller ones further in before commencing forming the roof.

An intricate design with arches formed, the basic build of the structure fully formed with quite a few blocks still remaining hovering in the sky.

Keeping his attention on the building, Wang Long flicked his finger, a dense wind coming in and carving the most basic dao runes on the pillars, using runes that promote relaxation and fertility.

The runes gave the temple an ancient and profound ascetic look, its walls a pristine white with intricate designs. Basic Dao Runes scattered throughout the palace, meant to comfort mortals and gods alike.

Nodding softly to himself, he slowly entered the temple "could do with some light first"

Space distorted besides Wang Long, slabs of marble escaping as they scattered around the temple, forming delicate ornaments such as Braziers and statues.

Once made, Wang Long split his chaos and made some Yang Qi

"Still a bit too strong for Aphrodite, let alone mortals..."

Not minding much, Wang Long plucked out a miniscule amount of the yang energy before throwing out the rest, sending it into space both not needing it and being unable to convert it into a strand of chaos as it wouldn't be balanced.

Noddingto himself, he released the yang fire, small fractions of the remaining flame splitting off and scattering to different Braziers throughout the temple.

The second each flame touched a brazier, it burned bright, lighting up a large area, emitting a deep heat, burning with the assistance of the laws of yang and flame.

While each brazier was marked with a part of yin, slightly dampening the heat and to make sure that the Braziers couldn't melt.

"Just the finishing touches now"

Wang Long calmly turned his consciousness to the few silk worms within the dome, analysing the composition of the atoms that form their silk.

After getting an idea of how the atoms need to form, Wang Long got to work, pulling the marble blocks into the temple before they were swiftly deconstructed and reconstructed as they formed various carpets, banners and tapestries to decorate the temple.

Once fully formed and laid out, Wang Long took some Yin and Yang left from when he split a part of his chaos to infuse them into the various silk decorations.

Splitting some of the yin and yang to make the five elements which acted as colour dye. While the yin and yang remaining staned within, swirling.

"That should keep it warm in the winter and cool in the summer"

Gently waving his hand slowly "Now all that's left is the finishing touch", with that, the surrounding space rippled, not because of the space dao but with a ripple of time, distorting space.

A gentle wave of time spreading over the temple, freezing the time of the temple so that time doesn't erode this gift.

Yawning softly and stretching his arms over his head, Wang Long stepped forward to step through space once more, appearing at his humble pagoda.

"I guess this will be the first time"
