Chapter 10 - When Beasts Ruled

"Relax that is, it's the first time in what... a few thousand years?"

Waving his hand, Wang Long formed a simple rocking chair using nothing but the dao of wood to solidify into a dense wood.

Wasting no time in sitting down and letting out a pleased moan, relaxing down in the chair as he looked upon the horizon.

"It's moments like this that make it truely worth it"

Slowly shutting his eyes, shutting out the God's sense, leaving him only with the blank darkness with a faint flight filtering through his eyelids.

He sat there.

His mind blank.

His vision blank.

Doing nothing but relaxing, all thoughts, worries and frustration melting under the light breeze.

After a long few hours, Wang Long gently opened his eyes, allowing his senses to extend once more.

His expression much more relaxed and serene compared to before.

Calmly gazing upon the dome filled with beasts, using only his God's sense to gaze upon them.

Watching birds fly around in the air, hearing their melodious chirping and singing. Flying freely throughout the sky's.

Wolves setting up their dens, finding their own communities within the large dome.

Deers grazing, cows mooing, tigers roaring.

The cacophony of sounds echoing in Wang Longs mind, yet not sounding overwealming or loud but instead peaceful and natural.

"So this is what the world was like before humans...its... nice" He said softly to himself, still rocking in his chair.

"The only thing that still annoys me is..." looking upon a few spiders and arachnids "ugh... those things"

Even in his past life, Wang Long hated spiders, never able to get used to them even after a few millenia.

"Stop... stop.. they're necessary..."He told himself, trying to comfort his repulsion to arachnids.

"Anyway..." He muttered, quickly turning his focus away from the spiders, watching over Aphrodite as she works. Already working her magic, both beasts and insects already finding mates.

Beasts courting other beasts seen throughout the Dome.

Wang Long already smiling gently to himself "It was good that I made Aphrodite a house, she deserves it with how fast she works"

Turning his attention down to the reincarnation realms, Wang Long watched on as king yama busied himself.

With 11 instances of King yama scattered throughout the realms of reincarnation, checking over the laws so that everything works perfectly.

Running through practices using his clones as lost souls with him being the judge.

Just as Wang Long was watching over King Yama, Aphrodite flew over from the dome, clearly having noticed her temple. Able to recognise it from the dao laws within.

With his eyes still focused in the distance and rocking on the chair, Wang Long calmly asked "What beings you here Aphrodite?"

Smiling sweetly, she leaned on one of her legs, tilting to Hehe side slightly "Father~ i just wanted to thank you for your present~"

"I'm glad you like it, I can't have you resting in a tree or something now can I?"

Aphrodite let out a soft and gentle giggle, warmth spreading from her every action."Oh father~ it couldn't have been easy, I don't know how I could repay you~" She leaned down slightly, leaning forward by a few degrees.

Wang Long sat unaffected, just rocking in his chair with a serene smile "just think of it as a present from a father to his daughter"

He paused before continuing "Plus, it's already enough that you talk to me, think of King yama, he didn't exactly talk much"

"But that's what I designed him to be like so I cant complain" he mused to himself.

Wang Longs lack of response made her pout slightly, giving up "ok... I'll back to work then father~"

He chuckled to himself "just so you know, that doesn't work unless I let it, you come from me after all" teasing her, as she flew off, eliciting a bigger pout from Aphrodite.

Finding her pouting cute, Wang Long watched as she returned to her temple, exploring the intricate layout with awe.

"Once I have enough points, I should make a few more Gods, even if they aren't entirely necessary" He mumbled to himself thoughtfully.

"Anyway... back to the main thing..." He mumbled as I looked at the dome once more.

"They need to grow more before humans come in... I don't want a world where humans rule unopposed" saying with a deep sigh before sending over a few questions to Aphrodite.

"How long do you think it would take to get a million in population for each species?" He sent over, slightly surprising Aphrodite.

"If you give me 400 ish years, I could get a population of over 1 million, father~"

Smiling lightly "Ok, thank you, please work hard" before withdrawing his attention from Aphrodite.

"Now what to do for a few hundred years..."

Never stopping from rocking on his chair while he spoke to himself.

As he thought to himself, he caught a glance at his arm, looking like a human arm made of black fog condensed together with no other colours.

"That could keep me busy for a little while..." He muttered before standing from his rocking chair before making his way to the mediation mat.

Once more quieting his mind for meditation, focusing this time on using different daos and elements to change the colour of his skin and mold his features more accurately.

As time marched on, Wang Longs exterior layer of chaos solidified, morphed and changed colour continually.

...

After a short 300 years, Wang Long was finally able to perfectly change his form, not just to different human shapes but any shape he wanted, mastering his transformations.

Wang along softly yawned and stretched, his body still in the Chaotic state it was before that was shaped like a human. Still looking like darkness in human form.

"So many transformation option but this is the most comfortable... hm" humming as he moved to the rocking chair and turning his attention to the dome to check on the animals.

To his surprise, when he checked on the animals, he saw large packs and groups of animals scattered throughout. Roughly estimating that there were hundreds of thousands per species om average.

Of course insects had a lot more on average, being in the multi millions.

"Has has really outdone herself even if she is the goddess of fertility.."

Yawning softly as he rocked slowly and calmly, he sat talking to himself with a serene expression.

"Its should be almost time..."

Bringing up the system screen to see his points.

God Points: 909

"That should be more than enough"

Standing up shortly after, only a short few minutes after his rest. Smoothly stepping through space to appear inside the dome.

"These will be enough beasts" He mumbled before snapping his fingers, the dome of wind above the large walls dissapearing, fading into nothingness as if it never existed.

With fluid and unhesitatingly movements, Wang Long brought his hand in a downward motion, the massive stone walls slowly descending into the ground.

The surrounding ground quaking causing birds to fly away and beasts to running fear.

The ground rumbled for a little while after the walls fully dissapeared into the floor. All beasts fleeing further into the previous dome in fear, no fighting and jast fleeing.

Chuckling to himself, Wang long stepped forward once more, appearing above a lush forrest previously within the dome with a quiet cave sitting in the bottom of a mountain besides the forrest.

"This is a good spot... not many predators and plenty of food..."

Clapping his hands to himself he chuckled

"Let's get the show on the road then!"
