Asgard, inside the Bifrost Gate—
A massive troop transport hovered in mid-air, slowly sailing out from the golden gate. Onboard, Asgardian warriors—once proud defenders of the Nine Realms—were now bound in chains, their faces filled with defeat.
"Loki, God of Mischief! Is this what you wanted? To hand over Asgard's throne to an outsider?"
Inside the transport cabin, Lady Sif glared furiously at Loki, who stood watching her with an expressionless face. Her voice dripped with anger and contempt.
"The greatness of Lord Allens is beyond your comprehension," Loki replied coldly.
Though merely a magical duplicate created by Allens, this version of Loki still possessed independent thought—and thus, he ignored Sif's scorn entirely.
"Bah! Asgard will never bow to someone like you, let alone a Midgardian!" Sif spat at him, her tone full of the pride and defiance of a true Asgardian warrior.
Whoosh.
Her defiance drew the attention of a nearby Sentry guard. The mechanical figure turned toward her, a single glowing eye locking on target. If she moved even slightly—she would be killed instantly.
Meanwhile, deep within Asgard, the Three Warriors had begun to rally the remaining defenders. They had learned of Sif's capture long before and knew Loki had allied himself with Midgard's mysterious new power—Allens—to seize Odin's throne.
Behind them, Thor stirred inside the healing chamber.
Thanks to Asgard's advanced science, a regenerative life-liquid was developed—capable of restoring even the gravest injuries. As the fluid drained, Thor awoke, his body completely healed.
If not for the lingering absence of his divine power, he might have thought everything before had been a nightmare.
"Ugh… Heimdall, what happened?"
Stepping out of the chamber, Thor saw Heimdall seated quietly nearby, his expression solemn.
"Thor, Asgard is in trouble," Heimdall said, and quickly explained everything—the All-Father's deep slumber, Loki's betrayal, and Allens' growing control over Asgard.
Thor's expression darkened. Even worse, his divine power remained sealed. It seemed Odin had completely stripped him of his might.
"Thor, only you can lead Asgard's counterattack now," Heimdall said firmly.
He placed a hand on Thor's shoulder, raised his right arm, and called out—
"In the name of Odin, King of Asgard, I lift the seal upon Thor Odinson and restore his divine power!"
The Eternal Spear—Gungnir—flew into Heimdall's grasp. Divine energy erupted in waves, forming a pillar of light that enveloped Thor entirely.
At that same moment, high above the city, the Three Warriors intercepted the enemy troop ship.
Volstagg, the mighty and broad warrior, gripped his massive battle axe tightly. His red beard bristled like a raging lion's mane, and his eyes burned with determination. Beneath him stood a giant white-haired war elephant.
"Hogun! Fandral! Brothers! It's time we defended Asgard with our own strength!"
Volstagg raised his axe high.
"Elephant God—charge!"
The beast trumpeted, pounding its hooves into the ground. The sheer force warped the air itself as it thundered forward.
Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh!
Dozens of Sentries swooped down to intercept, but the elephant's trunk swung out, smashing them aside like toys. Volstagg's axe came down in a blinding arc—five Sentries were split in half instantly.
"Hahaha! Glorious! Though I wish I had a mug of ale to go with this!" he roared, cleaving through wave after wave of Sentries.
But then—
"Vibration Super Module—activate. Target locked: Volstagg."
A Sentry, far more powerful than the rest, stepped forward. Energy gathered around its body as it charged up a devastating punch.
BOOM!
The shockwave collided with Volstagg's axe—shattering the weapon and sending the warrior flying. He crashed through an Asgardian tower with a thunderous impact.
"Volstagg!"
Hogun and Fandral froze in disbelief. Their brother-in-arms, famed for his immense strength, was felled in a single blow. The two exchanged a grim look and rushed forward.
"Too slow," came a cold voice.
Allens, watching from above in his gleaming red-and-gold armor, frowned slightly. "I don't have time for this."
He raised his hand.
"Time—stop."
The world froze. Wind, sound, and motion all ceased. In the stillness, Allens lifted both palms, and twin repulsor blasts ignited.
BOOM! BOOM!
When time resumed, the energy beams struck Hogun and Fandral squarely. The two warriors were thrown across the battlefield, crashing beside Volstagg—unable to rise.
"Sentries—secure the area," Allens ordered coldly.
"Yes, Master."
The Sentries responded in unison, their eyes flashing. Terrifying power radiated from their bodies as they subdued every remaining Asgardian warrior. Within minutes, the once-proud soldiers of Asgard were completely overpowered.
Allens, floating above them, paid no attention to the fallen. His gaze turned westward—toward a familiar yet stronger divine presence.
"Ah… finally," he murmured, a faint smile curling on his lips. "The aura of Thor—but stronger. The Avengers from the future."
His smile deepened. "So… the Thor of 2023 has arrived."
