Whoosh, whoosh, whoosh.
Asgard was surrounded by Frost Giant warships. Although Jotunheim's technology wasn't as advanced as Asgard's, the Frost Giants were still capable of producing small but deadly warcrafts.
At the forefront stood King Laufey of Jotunheim, frost blades forming in both his hands as he glared coldly at Allens, who stood proudly in golden divine armor.
Behind Laufey, his daughter Joanna—the princess of Jotunheim—led a group of Frost Giant sorcerers. She stretched out her hands, and countless icy orbs condensed in the air, swelling rapidly with chilling power.
"Ice Magic: Frost Star!"
Joanna raised her frost scepter high. The Frost Star in the sky expanded to several dozen meters across, glowing with freezing energy as it plunged toward Allens.
Boom!
Allens only sneered. His right hand ignited with blinding energy, and a thunderous pulse cannon erupted from his palm, shattering the Frost Star instantly.
"J.A.R.V.I.S., maximize the Psychokinetic Augmentation Module. Engage interstellar small-planet trajectory capture."
Allens' voice was cold and sharp. Streams of data flickered rapidly across his visor as J.A.R.V.I.S. began intensive calculations. Within moments, projections of planetary data from the space surrounding Asgard appeared before him.
Swish.
Allens raised his right hand, his Psychokinetic power expanding into an enormous invisible force that spread out toward the void of outer space.
Through his visor, Asgard's orbital belt came into focus—a chain of small celestial bodies drawn in by Asgard's gravitational field, serving as natural defenses against meteor impacts.
Among them, one planet nearly fifty kilometers in diameter trembled violently, caught in Allens' psychic grip. Under his control, it began to move—hurtling toward Asgard like a meteor of doom.
Rumble.
A thunderous sound echoed across Asgard's skies as the massive planet streaked closer. The atmosphere shook; waves of air compressed and rolled like crashing tides.
"Oh crap… Thor, we're in big trouble!"
On the ground, Rocket Raccoon looked up in horror. His small paws flew over the holographic controls on his combat suit as his onboard AI finished calculations. Even though the results were likely off the charts, the meaning was clear: Asgard was facing annihilation.
Rumble.
Even without Rocket's warning, Beta Ray Bill—the horse-faced warrior often mistaken for Thor—noticed the monstrous shadow overhead. The planet loomed so large that it nearly covered Asgard's entire sky.
Boom! Boom! Boom!
Allens clenched his right fist tighter, his Psychokinesis dragging the planet through space faster and faster. Friction against the atmosphere ignited its surface, turning it into a blazing inferno—a falling sun ready to obliterate everything below.
"That bastard Allens actually pulled a whole planet down! Damn it, Thor, I think this is the end of us!"
Rocket's fur stood on end as despair filled his eyes. For once, he wished the Hulk was here to smash someone—anyone.
"Hey, Rocket… yeah, I see it,"
Beta Ray Bill muttered, gripping the Stormbreaker tightly as arcs of lightning burst from his body.
"This guy's even scarier than Thanos."
Despite summoning all his divine strength, the sight of the descending planet made even the mighty warrior feel powerless.
Boom!
The friction between the planet and Asgard's atmosphere unleashed devastating heat waves. Buildings trembled and cracked under the searing pressure.
Swish.
Allens' eyes gleamed. He thrust his hand downward again, pulling the planet faster, harder, closer.
Every living being on Asgard—Frost Giants, Asgardians, and gods alike—felt sweat trickle down their faces. If that planet hit, nothing would survive.
"I am Thor Odinson! I will not let Asgard perish!"
Beta Ray Bill roared defiantly. Lightning surged through him like a raging storm, and with Stormbreaker glowing bright, he launched himself skyward—an enormous column of thunder striking straight at the falling planet.
BOOM!
Stormbreaker smashed into the planet's crust, creating a massive crater—but it wasn't enough. The planet's trajectory didn't waver. The impact sent Beta Ray Bill hurtling backward, slamming into the royal palace below.
"By the All-Father! Is this… Ragnarök?"
Stunned and broken, Beta Ray Bill looked up at the burning sky, despair filling his voice.
"Heimdall! What's happening?!"
Inside Odin's Palace, Thor, now stripped of his godly power, felt the tremors shaking the golden halls. His eyes darkened as he turned to Heimdall.
Heimdall stood silently, his face grave. He gripped Gungnir, the Eternal Spear, and struck it against the floor. Golden energy surged from his body.
"Great King Odin… now I finally understand why you entrusted me with the Eternal Spear,"
Heimdall declared, voice filled with solemn resolve.
"I, Heimdall of Asgard, will not allow this realm to fall."
He turned toward Thor.
"Thor Odinson, son of Odin—take my sight. With these eyes, you will see across all Nine Realms. The seal upon your power shall be broken. You are the one who must protect Asgard now."
Heimdall placed his hands on Thor's face. A surge of radiant light flashed as Heimdall's eyes transformed into shimmering energy, merging into Thor's.
"Don't fail me, my friend."
Heimdall turned back toward the heavens. Divine power exploded from his body, and Gungnir flared with blazing light—its brilliance piercing the apocalyptic darkness falling over Asgard.
