Rumble—
Above the skies of Asgard, a massive planetoid tore through the heavens, descending with roaring waves of air. The flames engulfing it made the entire realm blaze with unbearable heat.
Crack… crack…
Before the colossal object even touched the ground, several Asgardian structures—already weakened from battle—collapsed under the violent tremors. Some warriors were instantly buried beneath the falling ruins.
"Wall of Frost!"
Standing atop a Frost Giant warship, Joanna, daughter of King Laufey of Jotunheim, raised her Frost Scepter high. Her beauty was striking, but her expression was as cold as the ice she commanded.
Crack! Crack!
A towering wall of ice surged upward to block the falling planet. But compared to the sheer heat and force of the celestial inferno, her frost magic was insignificant. Within moments, the flames melted through her ice barrier like butter.
"Father! What do we do?"
Joanna's voice trembled slightly as she turned to her father, panic flickering in her eyes.
"Steady yourself, Joanna," Laufey replied grimly. "Do not underestimate Asgard's strength."
Though his tone was calm, the ancient king's eyes betrayed his unease. Laufey had fought Asgard for millennia—he knew its power well. And if anything, he knew one thing for certain: Asgard would not fall easily.
At that moment, Heimdall stood on the rainbow bridge, channeling every ounce of divine energy within him. His body radiated golden light as infinite divine power poured into the Eternal Spear—Gungnir—that he now wielded in both hands.
"I, Heimdall of Asgard, swear this upon my life—I shall protect Asgard!"
Golden runes ignited along his armor as his body lifted into the air. The Eternal Spear separated from his grasp, floating above him as divine energy surged between them.
"In the name of Odin All-Father, I command the Eternal Spear to strike true!"
"I swear upon Gungnir—it shall pierce the heart of the planetoid above Asgard!"
As his oath resounded, the divine runes along Gungnir's shaft blazed brighter. The spear began to devour Heimdall's divine power and life force at an alarming rate.
Gungnir—the Eternal Spear—was Odin's most powerful weapon. Once an oath was sworn upon it, its strike would never miss. But only Odin himself could wield it freely. For anyone else, the spear demanded a terrible price—their life and all their divine energy.
High above, Heimdall's body began to age rapidly, his golden aura flickering as his vitality drained away. The lifespan of an Asgardian was long beyond measure—but even that could not save him now.
Boom!
Gungnir ignited with golden light and shot upward like a blazing sun, streaking through the sky.
Rumble—!
The Eternal Spear struck true, piercing directly through the heart of the falling planetoid. The "spear that never misses" lived up to its name—its divine power detonated inside the celestial mass.
A golden explosion illuminated the heavens as the planetoid shattered into countless fiery fragments that rained upon Asgard like a meteor storm.
Boom! Boom! Boom!
Though Heimdall had succeeded, the resulting meteor shower still brought unimaginable devastation. The Frost Giant warships were the first to be struck—one by one, they were torn apart by the falling debris.
Across Asgard, buildings were obliterated as fiery explosions erupted everywhere. The skies themselves seemed to burn.
Watching the destruction unfold, Beta Ray Bill clenched his teeth, his rage boiling over.
"Heimdall… DAMN YOU, ALLENS! I'll kill you for this!"
He roared furiously, gripping the Stormbreaker tightly as he charged toward Allens with lightning crackling all around him.
Clang! Clang! Clang!
Bill's Stormbreaker struck with devastating speed, each swing roaring like thunder. But Allens met every blow effortlessly—his right hand wielding Mjolnir, both weapons clashing in a storm of lightning and divine power.
Bang! Bang! Bang!
Behind them, Frost Giant soldiers leapt from their damaged warships, releasing torrents of icy air as they charged toward Allens in a frenzy.
"Frost Guardians!"
Joanna's voice echoed sharply as she leapt from her ship. The divine frost energy within her body surged wildly, freezing the ground beneath her feet. Her massive form expanded—her height doubling from four meters to nearly ten—as an icy storm swept outward.
Allens turned his head slightly, his expression void of emotion. His eyes were cold and distant, filled with contempt.
To him, it made no difference whether his enemies were four meters or ten—
"Ants," he muttered, "are still ants."
With a single swing of Mjolnir, Allens' body transformed into a bolt of blue lightning that cut through the battlefield. Dozens of Frost Giants were hurled away, their bodies crackling with electricity.
"J.A.R.V.I.S., activate the Frost-Steel Battle Suit."
Allens' command was icy calm. Instantly, the lightning around him faded, replaced by an armor of gleaming blue frost that encased his body.
Boom! Boom! Boom!
He clenched his fists, conjuring blades of frozen energy around his arms. Every punch he threw unleashed waves of chilling force, freezing the Frost Giants solid where they stood.
"What… what is this?!"
Laufey's face went pale, disbelief written across it. As the King of Jotunheim, he could sense it clearly—the aura emanating from Allens' armor was the pure, ancient frost essence of Jotunheim itself!
"Impossible… how can an Asgardian wield our ancestral frost power?!"
Behind Allens, Rocket Raccoon seized the opening. He raised his arm cannon, and a concentrated Dark Matter Pulse erupted toward Allens.
The explosion was massive—enough to vaporize a mountain. But Allens didn't even bother to turn around. The Frost-Steel armor shimmered, generating a towering ice barrier behind him.
Boom!
Ssshh—
The pulse slammed into the wall, producing only a dull thud before being instantly frozen by the spreading frost.
"Bullshit! Nope, I'm outta here! There's no way I'm fighting that crazy bastard!"
Rocket's fur stood on end as he tapped frantically on his wrist controls. In a flash of light, his combat suit activated its teleportation system.
Within moments, Rocket vanished from Asgard completely—leaving the doomed battlefield behind without a second thought.
