Chapter 178 - Chapter 178 Asgard Crisis, Big Clock Warning

Boom. Boom. Boom.

The skies over Asgard burned red as countless fiery meteorites rained down. The once-golden realm of peace was now half reduced to ruins.

"Damn it, Rocket! I'm gonna kick your ass for this!"

Beside the horse-faced Thor, Rocket Raccoon had already vanished—teleporting away from Asgard using his combat suit's jump module.

Thor's anger surged, but deep down, he understood Rocket's decision.

After all, their enemy this time was so terrifying that even breathing felt suffocating.

"The Spear of Eternity… Gungnir? The artifact of the God-King Odin."

Allens descended from the sky, landing amidst the rubble. He looked up at the divine spear hovering above, a cold smile tugging at the corner of his mouth.

Raising his right hand, he opened his steel battle suit. For the first time, Allens stepped out of the armor himself.

"J.A.R.V.I.S., activate alert mode."

Allens adjusted his tie—his sleek black suit making him look almost regal. Without turning back, he gave his command.

"Alert mode activated. Hulk module online."

J.A.R.V.I.S.'s voice echoed within the armor as streams of data flooded the visor display.

Behind Allens, the suit began expanding rapidly, transforming into a towering three-meter-tall giant of silver-white steel.

This was one of Allens' ultimate defense modes—using built-in gamma radiation to replicate the Hulk's immense strength.

Swish.

A phantom clone appeared beside Allens, taking on Loki's likeness. The God of Mischief raised his scepter, divine energy surging forth.

"Surrender to me—bow before the great mind of Allens!"

Loki's voice echoed across Asgard. Even as a duplicate, he retained all of Loki's powers and memories, mimicking even the trickster's thoughts.

As Loki spoke, the Mind Stone embedded in Allens' forehead began to glow faintly. For the first time, he used divine power to resonate with the gem.

Boom.

Though the Mind Stone remained partially sealed by the primal magic of origin, its power flared under divine stimulation—releasing a psychic wave that swept across the entire realm.

Crash.

Under that wave of mental pressure, every Asgardian whose heart wavered in fear dropped to their knees. Even the proud Lady Sif could not resist bowing unwillingly before Allens.

Across the realm, Frost Giants from Jotunheim—King Laufey among them—fell to their knees as well.

Only two figures still stood defiant.

The Thor of this age, eyes glowing with Heimdall's Nine Realms Sight—

And the future's Horse-Faced Thor, gripping Stormbreaker with both hands.

Neither would ever yield. Not even to the brilliance of the Mind Stone.

Their faces twisted in strain as lightning crackled around them, resisting the psychic flood with sheer willpower.

"I am Thor Odinson! Son of Odin, the All-Father!"

Both Thors roared the same words in unison. The name of Odin filled them with boundless courage and divine fury.

But even so, under the power Allens commanded, their resistance faltered.

Allens paid them no mind. Calmly, he turned and walked toward the grand palace that still stood untouched amidst the ruins.

A shimmering magical shield enveloped it—the last bastion of Asgardian power.

It was the Palace of Odin, seat of the All-Father himself. Behind it lay the Palace of Queen Frigga.

As Allens approached, he extended his hand, releasing ten streams of divine energy.

Boom.

Ever since he had slain Loki, Allens had acquired all of the trickster god's powers—and through his vast computational mind, he had refined them to perfection, including the ability to open dimensional portals.

The divine energy merged with the barrier, parting it like a curtain to form a human-sized opening. Allens stepped through into the square before the palace.

Shua, shua, shua.

Dozens of Sentry drones descended from the sky under J.A.R.V.I.S.'s command, taking control of Asgard's airspace.

Each Sentry could replicate itself.

And those replications could, in turn, replicate again.

As long as energy was available, an army of hundreds of thousands could be created.

The Sentries rounded up all the surrendered Asgardians and entered standby mode.

Allens walked into the Odin Palace. Before him stood the grand throne of Asgard. A cold smile crept across his face.

"Sir, the Big Clock has sent a message from the future."

J.A.R.V.I.S.'s voice echoed in his ear. Before Allens' eyes, nanoparticles assembled into a pair of glowing holographic glasses.

"Open it."

Ever since he created the Big Clock, Allens had instructed J.A.R.V.I.S. to alert him to any observed threats to his future.

Swish.

Data streamed through the glasses, swirling like a vortex as Allens' consciousness was drawn into the vision of the future.

In that near future—still within Odin's Palace—Allens stood upon the throne.

Suddenly, chains of divine energy erupted, binding his body in place.

An old man appeared before him.

"Odin…? So you never truly fell into the Odinsleep."

Even with divine power surging through him, Allens couldn't break free.

The Chains of Odin—a divine artifact forged by the Dwarves from branches of the World Tree—could restrain even gods on the level of the All-Father.

"Allens the Intellect, I have seen your future."

Odin's tone was calm but heavy with authority. "And I must say, your decision to invade Asgard was a grave mistake."

Though weakened from his slumber, Odin's very presence radiated power.

Even facing death, his majesty as God-King still shook the cosmos.

So long as Odin lived, not even Thanos dared to lay a finger on Asgard.

Swish.

A blinding streak of light tore through the sky—Gungnir, Odin's eternal spear—pierced Allens' chest, then returned to its master's hand.

"I know I cannot kill you yet," Odin said solemnly, "but I can take away your power..."
