Julian Fairchild didn't wait for her to speak and instead leaned down to kiss her forehead, a smile playing at his lips, "Try it on, I'll wait for you at the door."
This... Maeve watched him leave, feeling like his back seemed somewhat triumphant.
She picked up a piece and muttered to herself, "He says to try it, but didn't give me any other options, that confident?"
Five minutes later, Maeve stood in front of a full-length mirror, engulfed in a mysterious silence.
Just then, Julian pushed the door open, seeing Maeve looking in the mirror. He strode over to her side and asked, "How is it? Does it fit?"
Maeve's gaze shifted elsewhere, "It's okay, a bit tight."
Julian raised an eyebrow, eyes fixated on a particular spot, saying, "Oh?" with a meaningful tone.
Maeve turned around to block his gaze, "Let's go, let's go eat."
