"She's gone" Henry whispered, eyes searching but finding no trace of Rose's shadow.
He raised his hand, catching the faintly glowing crystals hovering above the dead bodies. One by one, he swallowed them, then store the body of the wolf in his investory.

Henry exhaled slowly, gathering the fallen swords on the ground. His gaze drifted to Mega's lifeless form.
"The most foolish and greedy human I've met in this world," He whispered then landed a kick against the corpse.
"Fool" Henry muttered and stomped once more, then turned away without remorse.
Pulling out the map the merchant had given him, he watched as a scanner from his system scanned it and after a few seconds a new structure unfolded on his interface lines, paths, and a blinking red marker deeper in the forest.
"The Wolf…" he murmured, his steps carried him forward.
Time dragged, nearly an hour passed before a new notification flickered before his eyes.

Henry's grip tightened on his bow, he leaned around a tree, peering into the small clearing ahead. There it was, an enormous wolf, nearly five meters long, its black fur gleaming faintly under the dim light. Its tail swayed lazily even in sleep.

Henry's chest tightened. "Ninety… Will I even survive this? I still have five days. Maybe I should wait." The thought flickered, but another quickly followed. 'What If someone else claimed the quest, what if someone else grabbed the flintlock'
The pressure settled heavy in his chest. He let out a deep breath then whispered. 'Lets do this'
Creeping forward, Henry moved with careful steps until he stood right before the sleeping beast. He raised his bow, string drawn. The tip of the arrow hovered inches from its head.
His arms trembled then another thought struck him, better than the head was the eye. He shifted the aim slightly lower, steadying his breath.
'Please work' He spoke inwardly then let's go of the bowstring.

The arrow made a slightly whistling as it shot forward, sinking into the wolf's eye.
"RAAWWWRRR!" The creature erupted with a scream of agony, body thrashing.

"I..it's works" Henry cheered however, his cheerful face disappeared as soon as it appeared. The Adult wolf turned it's only remaining eyes towards Henry and stare at him murderously.
"Ahhh... right...he still had one more eyes" Henry whispered and a taught came to his mind 'Run and Aim'
Henry turned around and started running away.
"Rawwwww" The Adult wolf instantly spurted into motion and used his claw to slashed Henry.

He rolled aside, barely missing the wolf's massive body as it charged past. His bow rose again, but he lowered it. "No wasting arrows. One headshot will end this."
The wolf wheeled back, crashing into him with brutal force.

Henry hit the dirt, strength draining from his limbs. The wolf's shadow loomed over him, claws slashing downward. He rolled desperately.

The claws missed, tearing only his clothes.
Gasping, Henry realized something. The wolf wasn't looking at him, it was confused, nose twitching.
"The blind spot."
He darted to its left, staying where its empty socket faced. When it turned its snout to track him, Henry slipped behind again.
To anyone watching, it would look like he was mocking the beast.
"No more playtime." His voice was low, he aimed then release.
*Whew*
The arrow made a slightly whistling then buried deep into its skull. The wolf staggered, then collapsed in a heavy thud.
