Chapter 3 - Chapter 3: Self-Arrangement and Companions

First, regarding the system's stat allocation, four years have passed since his birth, so under normal circumstances, Shuichi could learn all four skills now.

However, Shuichi did not rush to allocate points, because the skill description repeatedly emphasized that it enhances based on the host's physical qualities, which also indicates that diligent training will be indispensable in the future.

Compared to the natives of this world, Shuichi already had a general understanding of the entire Chakra system, and in this information-isolated world, there was basically no second person with such an intelligence advantage.

This advantage not only allows for foresight in future battles, enabling quick and correct responses to different opponents, but also allows for early planning during the foundational stages of Ninja training, thereby widening the gap with ordinary Ninja.

For these four stat allocations, Shuichi already had his own plans and would test for the optimal choice in the short term. Following this was the progression of the Hokage storyline, which he had to commit entirely to memory.

Although Shuichi's golden finger would certainly bring about some butterfly effects in the future, this was still extremely valuable intelligence. He absolutely could not let anyone else in the Ninja World know that he could predict the future.

Addressing this issue, Shuichi immediately took action, going to the table, taking out a piece of paper and a pen, but not writing immediately. Instead, he began to recall the Hokage storyline from beginning to end in his mind.

For each stage, he tried his best to cross-reference the anime and manga, then reluctantly added some official setting content he could remember, such as from the Jin no Sho (Book of Formations).

Only when Shuichi encountered content he felt was easily forgotten did he write down some keywords using a mix of Chinese and doodle-like drawings.

Throughout the entire afternoon, he had recalled and refined all of the Hokage storyline as much as possible, then repeated it three times in his mind.

Next, he placed this paper, which was basically only understandable to himself, under his pillow, planning to take it out every night before bed for the next week to recall and confirm.

Finally, he intended to tear it into pieces in multiple batches and discard it with the trash. Afterward, he would simply recall it in his mind during his free time each month.

After dealing with the Hokage storyline, Shuichi now had a general understanding of basic Chakra information, Ninjutsu that had appeared, and Ninja combat.

However, this was now a real world, completely different from the anime. Many details about Ninja would require Shuichi to study diligently at the Ninja Academy in the future to fill in the gaps.

Having been busy in his room all day, Shuichi was a bit tired. After a quick wash, he lay down on the bed.

Thinking about the original owner's memories, there were still some social connections left by his parents that could be developed. He also needed to plan what to say when he met the original owner's playmates.

To do well in Konoha Village, one still needed to establish a good persona… Shuichi slowly drifted into dreamland as he thought.

...

The next day, although it was winter, Konoha, after the snow had stopped, appeared somewhat hazy under the sunlight.

Shuichi woke up naturally. Perhaps because his future path had become clear and definite, his spirits were exceptionally good today.

After a simple wash, Shuichi had already planned to go out today to wander around and buy some items he needed.

Just then, a knock on the door suddenly came.

"Knock, knock, knock…"

"Shuichi, are you home?"

Shuichi realized it must be his original self's playmates. He took two steps to the door and opened it.

In front of him was a child wearing a large brown scarf and with light green spiky hair, named Ishikawa Itsuki. Half a step behind Ishikawa Itsuki was an ordinary-looking child with a serious expression, named Takashima Shota.

"Oh, I am!" Shuichi's condition today looked much better than the last time Ishikawa Itsuki remembered them parting. "I've been here all along."

"Phew, that's good. We were all quite worried when you suddenly fainted a few days ago. My mother told me not to disturb you these days, to let you rest well. It's good to see you're okay."

Ishikawa Itsuki's expression began to become lively, and the corners of his mouth curved slightly.

Ishikawa Itsuki's father was also a Ninja. He was a Chunin and had been teammates with Shuichi's father for a long time. The two families were quite close.

Similar to Shuichi's father, Ishikawa Jonin also died in the Second Shinobi World War. At that time, Ishikawa Itsuki was just one year old, so he didn't have a very deep impression of his father.

Ishikawa Itsuki's mother was an ordinary villager who had always run a small sushi shop, and their family's conditions were enough to maintain a normal life.

"I know I might have worried you that day. Don't worry, even though Father and Mother cannot be resurrected, they would probably want me to live well!" Shuichi said gently.

On the other side, Takashima Shota's expression remained unchanged, but his tone was full of concern,

"You've been home for so many days, how about we go out and play today?"

Takashima Shota was the son of the owner of a small Ninja tool shop in Konoha, a family with both parents. Because Shuichi and Ishikawa Itsuki's fathers often went to that small Ninja tool shop to buy Ninja tools, they became familiar with the owner over time.

Shota's grandparents were Ninja who came when Konoha was founded, and were considered a middle-tier force at the time. However, by the time it reached his father's generation, he did not have the talent to be a Ninja.

"Okay, I've been cooped up for so many days, I want to go out and walk around too." Shuichi returned to the house, put on a coat, thought for a moment, and also took some money from the cabinet. Then he locked the door and walked with them onto the streets of Konoha.

Shuichi's house was behind Konoha's reservoir, not far from Naruto's house in the storyline, on the edge of Konoha's central district.

After passing just two streets, they had already reached Konoha's more bustling central district.

Perhaps because the war was nearing its end, the streets began to regain some vitality.

But it was still the coldest part of winter, and it wasn't as lively as the spring and summer he remembered.

The Land of Fire is located in a hilly area, with a mild climate, abundant sunshine, ample arable land, developed economy, and a large population.

Konoha sits in the most prosperous central area of the Land of Fire, with the largest nearby city being the Lord Feudal's Office, the first city of the Land of Fire. With such an excellent external environment, Konoha Village is the most developed and strongest hidden Village in the Ninja World.

Just considering Konoha Village's training environment alone, it can be said to completely outperform the other four great nations.

The Village has over 50 training grounds for Ninja, each varying in importance, terrain, and scale.

Outside the central district, there is also the Death Forest, used for Ninja exams, animal and plant breeding, and training simulations.

The place Shuichi and his friends were going to was one of the smaller training grounds, but it was located not far from the central district and was a primary choice for many Ninja.

Target positions for Shuriken practice, for example, were almost always full. The targets often needed maintenance after a period of time, otherwise they would be shot to pieces by Konoha's Ninja.

This was also where the most Konoha children gathered, because growing up in Konoha Village, who didn't dream of becoming Hokage?

Therefore, the open spaces at the edges of the various training grounds were often filled with children watching Ninja train and enjoying the spectacle. Konoha Village, of course, did not prohibit this but rather encouraged it.

After all, all the children in the Village were potential future soldiers. Only if most people dreamed of becoming Ninja could Konoha Village remain strong.
