Chapter 6 - Turmoil in the Manor, a Storm of Blood and Gore

The night sky was as dark as ink, so thick that it seemed as if it could drip. It pressed heavily upon the manor. The howling wind whipped the tents, making them flap noisily, like the wailing of countless lost souls. The trees around the manor had their branches tugged by the fierce wind, thrashing about menacingly as if trying to plunge this darkness into even greater chaos. Under the cover of night, Silas stole through the edges of the manor like a ghost. His figure blended into the darkness, save for a pair of eyes that glinted with determination and anxiety, a testament to his concern for Emma.

Silas slipped into the manor soundlessly, evading the patrolling guards as he made his way towards the tent he and Emma had once shared. Along the way, his steps were light and cautious, each one seeming to fall in time with the pounding of his own heart. Finally, he reached the familiar tent. The tent swayed in the wind, creaking softly as if whispering secrets known to no one. Silas took a deep breath and slowly lifted the tent flap, only to find it empty. His heart sank abruptly, and a sense of foreboding welled up within him.

Silas waited inside the tent. Time trickled by, each second stretching out like a year. By late at night, there was still no sign of Emma. He could no longer contain his impatience. Relying on the memories of his original self, he swiftly made his way towards Jax's tent. As he walked, the wind grew even fiercer, tearing at his clothes and seemingly warning him of the harsh reality that awaited.

When Silas burst into Jax's tent, Jax was lying on the bed. Silas grabbed him by the collar and lifted him up, growling, "Where's Emma? You'd better tell the truth, or I'll kill you right now!" Jax woke up with a start, but upon seeing it was Silas, he regained his composure.

Jax said, "I didn't expect you to be so lucky to have survived. Let me go! You've forgotten that fighting among slaves in the manor is prohibited, haven't you?"

Hearing this, Silas laughed out of sheer anger. Without a word, he reached out his other hand and pressed it against Jax's head. Jax felt an overwhelming force bearing down on him, as if his skull would be crushed in the next instant. Ignoring his shock, he quickly pleaded for mercy.

Jax cried, "Spare me, master! Cash was the one who killed Emma, not me. I'll take you to him right away."

Upon hearing this, Silas pondered the unfamiliar name. Then, he grabbed Jax, leaped onto the wall separating the semi - beast - transformed slaves with a single bound. Jax, too stunned to react at first, quickly pointed out the tent where Cash was. Without hesitation, Silas jumped down and in just a few steps, reached the tent. Hearing the snoring coming from inside, Silas's anger flared even more. He entered and, looking at the four - legged creature, slapped it hard. Before Cash could react, Silas grabbed his neck.

Silas demanded, "Did you kill Emma?"

Cash tried to resist, but feeling the force around his neck, he stammered, "I didn't know Emma was your relative, master. Jax told me to do it. I'll go catch him right away. Please spare my life. I'll be your most loyal servant."

Silas sneered, "It's easy to spare your life, but can you bring my sister back?"

As he spoke, Silas suddenly exerted force. Cash's face instantly turned blue, and with a "snap," Cash's horse - like leg was broken. At this moment, Jax's voice came from outside.

Jax shouted, "Sir Overseer, that slave is inside. I don't know where he got his strange power from, but he's become incredibly strong and is now killing other slaves. You must seek justice for us!"

Hearing the voice outside, Silas gave a hard tug and ripped Cash's head off. Blood spurted out, drenching Silas. The overseer who entered just in time witnessed this scene and sternly shouted, "How dare you! Killing the master's slave. Surrender now, and you might still die a whole man."

Silas, who had intended to explain, sneered inwardly upon hearing this. It seemed that tonight was going to be a night of great upheaval. He punched the overseer. The overseer, not expecting Silas to fight back, was caught off - guard and sent flying out of the tent by the punch.

The other two overseers, seeing this, wasted no time and immediately attacked Silas. One of the overseers, at the mid - stage of the INITIAL BEAST EMBEDDING REALM, moved like lightning, lunging towards Silas and throwing a punch at his face. A fierce glint flashed in Silas's eyes. Instead of retreating, he advanced, meeting the punch with one of his own. The two fists collided with a dull thud. The overseer felt a powerful force surging through his arm, causing it to go numb. But Silas, relying on his remarkable regenerative ability, merely felt a slight tremor in his arm and quickly launched another attack. He raised his leg and kicked at the overseer's abdomen. The overseer hurriedly blocked with his arm, but was still sent staggering back a few steps by the kick.

The other overseer, at the early - stage of the INITIAL BEAST EMBEDDING REALM, launched a sneak attack from the side, holding a dagger and stabbing at Silas's back. As if he had eyes in the back of his head, Silas sidestepped, avoiding the dagger. At the same time, he grabbed the overseer's arm, twisted it with force. With a "snap," the overseer's arm broke, and the dagger clattered to the ground. Silas then kicked him away.

The third overseer, at the late - stage of the INITIAL BEAST EMBEDDING REALM, dared not be careless. He circulated the spiritual energy throughout his body, a faint glow enveloping him. His hands, like eagle claws, reached out towards Silas. A look of disdain flashed in Silas's eyes. He charged straight at the overseer. The overseer's eagle - like claws scratched Silas's shoulder, leaving deep bloody gashes. But Silas seemed oblivious to the pain. He grabbed the overseer's arm, pulled it hard, making the overseer stumble forward. Then, Silas raised his knee and rammed it into the overseer's chest. The overseer let out a muffled groan and spat out a mouthful of blood.

Although the three overseers outnumbered Silas, they were being pushed back by Silas's all - or - nothing, injury - for - injury fighting style.

Just then, the manor lord, accompanied by his son and other overseers, arrived. Standing beside them was Jax, who had gone to seek reinforcements. The manor lord was dressed in a magnificent robe, his aura calm and steady, exuding the powerful pressure of the mid - stage of the FLESH - BLOOD SYMBIOSIS REALM. His son, Leonard, was clad in fine clothes, his eyes filled with arrogance. He was at the late - stage of the INITIAL BEAST EMBEDDING REALM. The other overseers also had their own imposing demeanors, with some at the early, mid, and late - stages of the INITIAL BEAST EMBEDDING REALM.

The manor lord frowned upon seeing this scene and said in a deep voice, "You, this slave, dare to cause trouble and kill people in the manor. I advise you to surrender obediently. Maybe I'll spare your life."

Leonard, seeing that Silas was holding his own against three of the same rank, was filled with a competitive spirit. He stepped forward and said, "Father, this slave seems to have some skills. I want to have a bout with him. I'll only use the power of the mid - stage of the INITIAL BEAST EMBEDDING REALM. If he can defeat me, let him go."

The manor lord hesitated for a moment but finally nodded. Silas looked at Leonard, his face expressionless, and said indifferently, "Come and court death!"

As soon as the words left his mouth, Leonard made the first move. His figure flashed, and he rushed towards Silas like a black shadow, throwing a punch at Silas's chest. Silas also threw a punch to meet it. The two punches collided with a loud bang. Leonard felt a powerful force surging through his arm, causing it to ache. He was shocked. He hadn't expected Silas to be so strong.

Silas didn't give Leonard a chance to catch his breath. He immediately threw another punch. Leonard quickly sidestepped and at the same time lifted his leg to kick Silas's abdomen. Silas reached out and grabbed Leonard's leg, then gave it a hard swing, sending Leonard flying. Leonard did a somersault in the air and landed steadily on the ground.

Leonard took off his fine clothes and laughed, "I didn't expect you, this slave, to have some ability. Let you see what a true prodigy is. Behold the martial art I just learned in the academy."

WINDWOLF GALECLAW is a first - order martial art that can only be learned after fusing with a wolf. The user can temporarily enhance their hands to be as sharp as wolf claws, and their speed will also increase by 30%.

As he activated the technique, a layer of dark green light appeared on Leonard's hands, and a gust of wind began to circle around his body. With a wolf howl, Leonard attacked Silas. A black shadow flashed, and three bloody gashes appeared on Silas's chest, blood flowing freely.

Leonard pressed on, reaching out to grab Silas's head. Unexpectedly, Silas punched his wolf - clawed hand. After a scream, Leonard looked at his broken fingers, then at Silas's bleeding fist. He no longer suppressed his cultivation level and revealed his late - stage INITIAL BEAST EMBEDDING REALM power.

The two engaged in another fierce battle, their punches landing with a thud. Wounds appeared on both of them continuously. But Silas, relying on his extraordinary regenerative ability, was not afraid of getting injured. Every time he was hurt, he could recover quickly and continue to attack. Although Leonard had a higher cultivation level than Silas, under Silas's desperate fighting style, he gradually fell into a disadvantage.

After another punch - to - punch confrontation, the two separated. Leonard looked at his trembling arm, then at Silas, who just shook his hand and prepared to continue the fight. He wondered where this slave came from and why he was so strong. He had even used a martial art but still couldn't defeat him.

What everyone didn't know was that martial arts were just a way to unleash the power of the fused beasts. If an INITIAL BEAST EMBEDDING REALM early - stage cultivator could only utilize 50% of a beast's power, then a mid - stage cultivator could use 70%, and a late - stage cultivator could use 100%. Martial arts allowed one to unleash an additional 20% on top of that. Silas, through battles with the mirror image, had already fully mastered the power of his body and could even tap into his potential. That's why he could hold his own against Leonard, who was using a martial art, and even fight beyond his rank. This was the law of the world: the more one fought, the stronger one became. But others didn't have Silas's abnormal regenerative ability, which was also why Silas's strength grew so rapidly.

Seeing that Leonard couldn't gain the upper hand for a long time, the manor lord grew impatient. He waved his hand and ordered everyone to surround Silas, saying, "All of you, go! I want to see why this slave is so strong!"

Hearing the order, everyone rushed towards Silas. Silas was surrounded, but he showed no fear and continued to resist with all his might. He was like a wounded wild beast, attacking the enemies around him frantically. Under the joint attacks of everyone, Silas's injuries grew more and more severe. However, relying on his extraordinary regenerative ability, he still didn't fall.

Nevertheless, the manor lord was a second - order mid - stage powerhouse after all. Seeing Silas's tenacity, he decided to take action himself. He circulated the spiritual energy throughout his body, condensed a powerful force, and blasted it towards Silas from a distance. This force was like a cannonball, traveling at an extremely high speed. Silas had no time to dodge. The force hit Silas's abdomen directly. Silas felt a sharp pain, a large hole appeared in his chest, and he spat out a mouthful of blood. His whole body was sent flying and landed heavily on the ground.

The manor lord walked up to the fallen Silas, snorted coldly, and said, "Search him!" His subordinates stepped forward to search Silas but found nothing on him. The manor lord frowned and said, "Throw him into the lake to feed the fish!"

Everyone stepped forward, picked up Silas, and carried him towards the lake. Silas closed his eyes and remained motionless, as if he were already dead. In the dark night, he was thrown into the lake, creating circles of cold ripples. Then the lake surface returned to calm, as if nothing had happened...
