Late at night, the moonlight, like silver gauze, spilled over the forest beside Sagamia. Andy was comfortably lying on a soft blanket, soundly asleep. Robin, however, found it hard to sleep.
She seemed to have developed a trust in Andy, an unbelievable thing for her. She had originally thought her heart was as cold as ice and that she would never be able to trust anyone again.
But after these past few days, she found that Andy seemed to be a trustworthy person. This discovery made her heart ripple like a lake disturbed by a breeze, unable to calm down for a long time. She gazed at the sleeping Andy and softly murmured, "What an incredible young man, thank you for letting me feel the warmth between people again…"
The next morning, around five o'clock, under Isha's command, all the gang members in Sagamia surrounded the entire area where the dense forest on the west side of the city met the sea. If Andy and Nico Robin wanted to go out to sea, this was their optimal direction. Acting with these gangs were also the World Government's CP agents.
By the forest's edge, Isha and Giniel, along with several CP agents, stood together, focusing their attention on the coastline near the forest. Some small gang leaders, seeing these statuesque figures in suits and sunglasses standing next to Isha, and even occasionally barking orders at their goddess, couldn't help but feel an inexplicable surge of anger. But despite their displeasure, they dared not say anything.
"Gentlemen, I can assure you, they are certainly hidden within this forest!" Isha, her face like frost, said softly to Giniel with a cold gaze.
"Very good. If they are indeed here, we will recommend you to be the mayor of Sagamia afterward," Giniel's words seemed devoid of any emotion.
Isha nodded indifferently. Wasn't this precisely why she was cooperating with Giniel? These people's strength might not be great, but behind them was the World Government. With the endorsement of the World Government, her succession to mayor would also proceed much more smoothly.
"Everyone, move out!" Isha shouted sharply.
In an instant, all the gang members, armed with various weapons, swiftly and slowly converged toward the center of the forest, intending to force out Nico Robin and Andy, who were hiding within.
In the center of the forest, within a spacious cave, Andy and Robin had just woken up. After tidying up all their belongings, they planned to set off, intending to leave Asriel today. However, at this moment, they noticed that the animals in the forest had become restless.
"Robin, I feel like something isn't quite right. I estimate those gangs have already sneaked into this forest." Andy's face instantly turned serious. His Observation Haki wasn't strong enough to cover the entire forest.
Robin, beside him, also had a serious expression. "Andy, we need to withdraw quickly!"
"Understood!" Andy replied.
Then, without stopping, the two rushed toward the seaside, determined to break through the gangs' blockade before they were completely surrounded. But they seemed to be a step late. Before they could even run out of the forest, they encountered a group of gang members armed with various weapons.
Andy and Robin exchanged a knowing glance, then nodded heavily in unison, both understanding the meaning in the other's eyes. In a flash, their figures, like arrows shot from a bow, charged toward the weakest point of the gang's encirclement.
"Twenty Fleur: Clutch!" Robin acted without hesitation. The next second, dozens of arms sprouted from the bodies of the dozen or so gang members in front of them, directly clutching their throats. With a series of 'crunching' sounds of bones breaking, these dozen or so gang members were subdued by Robin in the blink of an eye. A gap immediately appeared in front of Andy and Robin, and they swiftly rushed out through it.
"Target spotted!"
"As per orders, kill the male, keep the female!"
"Understood!" The surrounding gangs immediately snapped back to attention. Instantly, countless bullets flew like rain toward Andy and Robin. "Bang bang bang!"
Hearing the gunshots, Andy didn't say a word. He scooped up Robin, used Observation Haki to dodge the bullets flying from behind, and simultaneously ran at full speed toward the seaside. But just as they were about to rush out of the forest, Andy, like a cunning rabbit, suddenly changed direction.
"Andy, what's wrong?" Robin quickly asked.
"There are seven guys by the sea whose strength is comparable to Zelas. I can handle two or three, but a whole group of them, and I'm powerless," Andy said with a solemn expression.
"Twenty Fleur: Hook!" Robin lightly shouted, instantly dispatching the dozen or so gang members blocking their way. Another series of screams echoed. Then, she said with a solemn expression, "Those people should be the World Government's CP agents. Although their strength isn't top-tier, their coordination is very tight!"
"Stop!"
"Nico Robin, you can't escape even with wings. Give up resisting!"
"Bang! Bang bang bang!!!"
The gang members kept firing at the two. Andy held Robin tightly, dodging the bullets while running at full speed toward the south. Robin, meanwhile, focused intently on the enemies ahead, clearing a path for Andy.
"They found us!" At this moment, Isha by the sea received a report from her subordinates. She immediately turned her gaze to Giniel.
"Chase!" Giniel roared.
The next moment, six CP agents, like arrows from a bow, instantly rushed into the forest. Isha was not to be outdone and sped toward the direction of the gunshots. Several gang leaders were dumbfounded. They stared in disbelief, realizing that their goddess Isha was so incredibly skilled. Her speed was even faster than those World Government CP agents.
In the lush forest, Andy's speed was fast. They successfully shook off the pursuing gangs and had now broken out of the encirclement, but there was no sea to the south, only continuous rolling mountains. Fortunately, the scope of this mountainous forest was large enough. It was impossible for those gangs to surround this entire forest, which also gave Andy and Robin a chance to catch their breath.
"Andy, do you want to rest for a while?" Robin, held tightly in Andy's arms, asked with concern.
"Not yet. Those seven guys are catching up. We must get deeper into the forest as quickly as possible. Only there will we have a chance to take them out!" Andy replied to Robin while continuing to run quickly.
Meanwhile, the seven people chasing behind them looked at the endless forest ahead, feeling an immense headache.
