Andy and Robin still hadn't reached their destination by dark, but they found a small uninhabited island to spend the night on. The night passed without incident. Robin, acting like an older sister, took great care of him.
As soon as they finished washing up in the morning, a news-carrying bird flew directly overhead. Robin expertly waved her hand, and the bird circled down. She gave it 50 Berries and took a newspaper from its beak. As the bird flew away, she opened the paper, and a new bounty notice fell out.
Robin picked it up and saw it was a photo of Andy. Her expression became serious. "Sure enough, Andy, you're wanted by the World Government now."
"Huh? Let me see!" Andy quickly leaned over. "Whoa! 30 million Berries! These guys really think highly of me, giving such a high bounty for my first one!" He was genuinely surprised. Did he really have the strength of a 30 million Berry bounty? He hadn't known.
"Andy, now both of us are wanted criminals..." Robin looked at him, a hint of guilt in her eyes. She felt that if it weren't for her, he wouldn't have become a wanted criminal so early in his life. He was still so young.
"Oh, I expected this!" Andy said with a relaxed expression, completely unconcerned. He saw that Robin still wanted to say something, so he immediately interrupted her. "Robin, actually, being wanted now is no big deal. It just gives me more motivation to become stronger. As long as I'm strong enough, the World Government's bounty will just be a measure of my reputation, you know?"
Robin stared at him blankly for a few seconds. Suddenly, it was as if a heavy weight had been lifted from her shoulders, and the guilt on her face vanished. "You're right," she said with a sigh of relief.
"Hehe, then to celebrate my first bounty of 30 million Berries, let's have a feast just for the two of us!" As soon as Andy finished speaking, he pulled out a lot of ingredients from his system space.
"A feast, huh..." Robin was stunned again. The word "feast" seemed to have never appeared in her life, but now, she felt like she'd found a companion with whom she could have one. With a soft smile, she walked toward a cooking station. "Then I'll handle the cooking. Compared to you, who only knows how to grill, I'm much better."
"What?" Andy feigned an angry expression. "You can cook? Then why didn't you cook last night? We ate grilled meat all night, and my mouth is all inflamed!"
"Andy, am I an archaeologist and a navigator now? Are you still going to make me a cook?"
"I've considered it!"
"I think you're asking for a beating!"
While Andy and Robin were having their cheerful feast, many other people had also received the latest newspapers and bounty notices.
In the Cortes Kingdom, Andy's birthplace, the gang leaders who had hunted him down panicked when they saw the news. They hadn't expected him to be alive, much less to have caused such a stir in Asriel and be wanted for 30 million Berries! They feared he would come back for revenge. Those who had looked down on him now considered fleeing, knowing they didn't want to face a 30 million Berry bounty criminal.
The atmosphere in Asriel was completely different.
At the Happy Tavern in Iceberg Bay, the bar owner proudly hung Andy's bounty notice on the wall. He passionately told every customer about everything Andy had done, making sure to mention that Andy had once drunk at his bar. The old man who had bought milk for Andy was also in disbelief. The young brat had actually become a 30 million Berry wanted criminal! He and the bar owner became the first people to praise Andy.
In the Star Sea Hotel next door, the charming bar owneress looked at Andy's handsome face on the bounty notice, and her heart fluttered with excitement again. She was completely lost in her fantasy.
"Hey!" a customer at the front desk said, his face flushed. "Beautiful owneress, we want to book a room!" They couldn't bear to speak loudly to such a charming woman. The customer's call pulled her from her fantasy. Annoyed at the interruption, she slowly put down the notice, her face showing her displeasure.
"I'm sorry, dear guests," she said coldly. "Our establishment is closed today. Please look elsewhere!"
"What???" the customers exclaimed. "Why, owneress?"
"Hmph," she scoffed. "It's because you're all so tactless, daring to interrupt me while I was admiring a handsome man! How annoying!" She ignored the stunned customers and swayed her hips as she walked away from the front desk.
In Sagamia, adjacent to Iceberg Bay, Isha had successfully taken over as mayor. The World Government's agents, sent to stop her, had been eliminated by Andy, and she had taken control of the local gangs. According to the country's laws, she had naturally become the new mayor.
She sat in her office, a cold and proud expression on her face. On her large desk lay the new newspaper and Andy's bounty notice. Her gaze was fixed on the notice, and when she saw his handsome face, she felt a faint pain in her chest.
"His first bounty is already 30 million Berries..." she whispered to herself. "This bastard's growth rate is truly astonishing, but I will never be content to be left behind by you like this! Garfield Andy, just you wait! One day, I will personally end your life!"
The guard standing at the door suddenly shivered, feeling a cold sensation wash over him like a poisonous snake. It was as if he had been thrown into an ice cellar.
Back on the nameless small island, Andy and Robin had just finished their happy feast. After packing up their cooking gear, they got back on the jet ski, heading for the Delta Islands, a large island group in the West Blue, under the scorching sun. They chose the Delta Islands because the area was known for having no kings, emperors, or nobles, just countless hedonists and outlaws. It was a chaotic place controlled by various gangs—the perfect environment for Andy and Robin's current situation.
