The 41st Marine Branch in the West Blue was a hive of activity. Orders were shouted, and a sense of urgency filled the air. "Hurry, hurry! Move all the ammunition onto the warship!" one officer yelled. "Our opponent this time is a sniper with a 30,000,000 Berry bounty. Everyone, use long-range attacks as much as possible! No one is allowed to be careless!"
"Yes, Colonel Bacchus!" came the unified response from the Marines.
Colonel Bacchus watched his men with a satisfied smile. He was in a fantastic mood because just a few moments ago, Admiral Aokiji himself had called from Marine Headquarters. The admiral had personally ordered him to lead his Marines on the pursuit of Andy, the notorious sniper who had recently escaped from his grasp. Aokiji even gave him Andy's exact location: at the foot of Garbage Mountain on the Darereka Islands.
The thought of this filled Bacchus with excitement. As long as he took care of Andy, he would have a direct line to Admiral Kuzan. He could already imagine the greater power and influence that awaited him.
A dozen minutes later, his adjutant jogged over, saluting smartly. "Colonel Bacchus, all weapons and ammunition have been loaded. Should we depart?"
"Hmm, depart!" Bacchus ordered without a second's hesitation.
"Depart!" the adjutant bellowed. On the massive warship, the sails were unfurled, and the power wheels began to turn. The ship quickly sailed out of the base and sped toward the Darereka Islands.
Meanwhile, at the foot of Garbage Mountain on the Darereka Islands, the rain had stopped just as Andy finished showering. "Time to go out and earn some bounty points," Andy happily mumbled to himself, looking at the clearing sky. The Darereka Islands were a chaotic place in the West Blue, with plenty of people who had bounties from the World Government. He decided to collect his bounty points here first.
With his mind made up, Andy packed his things and went downstairs to check out of the hotel. When he reached the lobby, everyone looked at him differently. After all, Andy was now the undisputed top sniper of the West Blue, a title that earned him a mix of admiration and fear. Newspapers had already depicted him as a dangerous villain, and people were naturally wary of such a person.
If there was one place pirates loved to hang out, it was the bars. Andy looked around the entrance, then approached a beautiful woman. "Hi, beautiful big sister, do you know where the most famous bar on the Darereka Islands is?"
The woman's heart pounded. "The... the most famous bar?"
"Yeah."
"That would be the Chaos Bar. It's a bar opened by the local gangsters, right on the adjacent Little Mushroom Island. But no fighting is allowed inside. You... you should be careful."
"Chaos Bar, huh... Thank you, big sister," Andy said, already walking toward Little Mushroom Island.
"He's just too handsome..." The woman stared after him with hazy eyes, her hands clasped to her chest, still starstruck by their brief encounter.
Andy reached the shore and pulled out his jet ski. Little Mushroom Island was a short ride away from Garbage Mountain, and he quickly reached the opposite shore. After putting the jet ski back into his space, he began walking toward the bar. Along the way, many people recognized him. After all, everyone on Little Mushroom Island had witnessed his duel the day before. Now, with the title of West Blue's top sniper, his face and name were known far and wide.
The Chaos Bar was bustling with conversation, the main topic being yesterday's duel between Andy and Daru.
"Daru's a joke, getting defeated by some teenager," one pirate sneered.
"Who knows? Maybe Daru's reputation was fake," another replied.
"Fake or not, a teenager with a 30,000,000 Berry bounty? It's annoying!" a third one complained.
"I know, right? Are the Marines blind or what?" another chimed in.
"Heh heh heh! It seems everyone's pretty unhappy with our new top sniper in the West Blue," a man with an iron hook on his hand laughed. "Why don't we go kill him...?"
Just then, an incredibly cold and abrupt voice cut through the noise. "Since that's the case... then I can rightfully take care of all of you."
The chaotic bar fell silent. The group of pirates who had just been running their mouths turned their heads to the entrance. A slender, stern-faced man stood there, exuding a chilling aura.
"The... the Wicked Sniper Andy!" someone stammered in fear and surprise.
"Oh my god, how could he be here?" another person shrieked.
"Run! If we don't run now, it'll be too late!" With that cry, all the pirates who hadn't been talking about Andy rushed for the exit like startled rabbits. In the blink of an eye, only the ones who had been threatening to kill him were left.
Some of them had glints of greed in their eyes, as if they could already see themselves getting famous by taking care of Andy. Others stared intently with a sinister gaze, ready to attack at any moment.
Andy glanced over them, feeling a surge of joy. He recognized a man with an iron hook on his left hand and a flintlock pistol in his right. He was 'Iron Hook' Jack Sparrow, with a 15,000,000 Berry bounty. Beside him was 'Poison Snake' Sarah Vayne, with a 13,000,000 Berry bounty, and 'Sea Wolf' Victor Gray, with 21,000,000 Berries. Together, that was a total of 49,000,000 Berries. The rest were unknown pirates, not worth remembering.
Andy looked at the restless group, and a sniper rifle suddenly appeared in his hand. He immediately pulled the trigger, aiming at 'Poison Snake' Sarah Vayne!
With a loud bang, the shot echoed through the bar. A strong smell of blood instantly filled the air, and red and white bits of flesh splattered everywhere like a horrifying rain. Half of Vayne's head had been blown to smithereens.
"Vayne!"
The other pirates were stunned. They couldn't believe that Andy, facing so many of them, would dare to make the first move. Then, they were filled with a blind rage.
"Kill him!"
"We have to take care of this bastard!"
"Die, Andy!"
With roars, the group of pirates surged forward like a tide, brandishing their weapons and rushing at Andy with murderous intent.
In an instant, the Chaos Bar was filled with the deafening sounds of gunshots and the sharp clang of swords colliding.
