Chapter 43 - Chapter 43 : All the warships in Skeleton Bay sank!

"Don't you dare wail, Duke Bones! This is only the first ship; you still have four warships left!" Andy's hoarse voice cut through the air, carrying his taunts all the way to Duke Bones several kilometers away.

Thanks to his Observation Haki, Andy clearly heard Duke Bone's furious, pig-like roar in the distance. "Ah! Damn it, you bastard! All of you, turn your cannons around and blast this suicidal fool to pieces!"

As his roar echoed, the remaining four warships hastily began to turn. On the deck, the soldiers scurried like ants, frantically raising their weapons and aiming at Andy. Their dark muzzles looked like the hungry mouths of ravenous beasts, ready to devour their prey. But Andy wasn't about to give them the chance.

The jet ski rocked violently on the tumultuous waves, but Andy remained perfectly steady. He held his sniper rifle, keeping his eyes on the scope, and took a deep breath to calm the slight increase in his heart rate from the battle. Then, his index finger gently pulled the trigger.

Bang!

A low, crisp gunshot echoed, and the bullet, imbued with deadly force, whistled out of the muzzle like a black bolt of lightning.

The bullet's surface was wrapped in a thick layer of Armament Haki, an indestructible armor that tore through the air, emitting a sharp whistle as it flew. In the blink of an eye, the bullet traversed the long distance and flew accurately toward the warship flying the Skull Bay flag.

Boom!

A deafening, violent explosion erupted. This time, Andy had aimed directly for the ammunition depot, the warship's most vital point.

The resulting energy of the blast was like an enraged beast, unleashing a power even more terrifying than the first shot. Blazing flames shot into the sky, engulfing the entire warship, while the shockwave surged outward like an unstoppable tsunami.

The powerful force violently churned the seawater, creating a giant wave more than ten meters high. This moving wall of water aggressively rushed toward the three remaining warships.

"Ah! Help! Someone save me!"

"Your Grace, save us!"

"No! I don't want to die…"

Cries and pleas intertwined, echoing across the decks of the warships. Wave after wave of violent shaking completely disoriented the Skull Bay soldiers.

They were like puppets with their strings cut, thrown to the deck by the pitching warship, their bodies uncontrollably rolling and colliding with everything around them.

Terrified, the soldiers desperately tried to grab anything that could steady them—railings, ropes, ammunition boxes—but it was all useless. As the warships pitched violently, their cries were mercilessly swallowed by the howling wind and surging waves.

Even the usually imposing Duke Bones had lost his arrogance. The surging waves continuously pounded his warship, and with each sway, he felt like he could be thrown into the bottomless sea at any moment.

Two of his warships had been destroyed by Andy's sniper rifle, and these successive blows forced Duke Bones to finally calm down.

His mind raced. The cruel reality was laid bare: in the middle of the vast ocean, at such a great distance, they were utterly helpless against Andy. And Andy was like a grim reaper hiding in the shadows, ready to pull the trigger and send their remaining warships one by one to the seabed.

The giant waves finally receded, and the warship slowly stabilized. But the chaotic scene had already caused many soldiers to fall into the sea. They struggled in the icy water, calling out to their companions, their voices growing weaker with each passing moment.

Duke Bones had no time to worry about the fallen soldiers. His mind held only one thought: they had to reach shore as quickly as possible. Otherwise, they would all become food for the fish. "Full speed to shore! Quick, everyone scatter, full speed to shore!" he yelled, his voice hoarse and desperate.

As a Devil Fruit user, if his warships were all blown up, he would only be able to sink to the bottom of the sea. The soldiers, as if waking from a nightmare, finally reacted.

The sea was a man-eating devil; only by reaching the shore could they have a chance at survival. They scrambled to their posts, operating the three warships like startled beasts, speeding frantically toward the Coral Royal Court's Port City.

At the Port City shore, Xavier's face was filled with disbelief. He stared at the sea, unable to comprehend how Andy had so easily blown up three of Skull Bay's warships.

The Coral Royal Court's guards were also stunned, their eyes wide and unblinking as if under a petrification spell. They all thought to themselves: Red Hawk Andy is truly worthy of being the West Blue's top sniper!

Blowing up warships with a sniper rifle—they had never even dared to imagine such a thing, yet now it was happening right before their eyes.

Before anyone could recover from the shock, another loud boom echoed. Another warship was blown up, the violent explosion instantly devouring all life on board. Flames shot into the sky, and thick smoke billowed upward, casting a terrifying shadow of death over the sea.

The people on the two remaining warships were scared out of their wits. They completely disregarded their companions, frantically rowing their oars like madmen. Their faces were filled with terror, their eyes fixed only on the shore, as if it were their only lifeline.

Boom… Rumble!!!

The previous explosion still echoed as the fourth warship was also consumed by fire under Andy's precise sniping. Scorching flames licked the sky, and debris splattered everywhere, falling into the sea with crackling sounds.

At this point, only the last warship remained—Duke Bone's flagship. His heart was in his throat; he could almost hear his own thunderous heartbeat, constantly feeling as if the warship beneath him would explode at any second.

The warship was only a little over a hundred meters from the shore, but Duke Bones could no longer wait. His face pale, he forcefully pushed off, using all his might to leap toward the shore.

The instant he jumped, Andy's calm gaze, through the scope, locked onto his target. He pulled the trigger without hesitation.

Bang! Boom!!! Rumble!!

This explosion was even more deafening than the previous four, as if it would shatter the entire world. Duke flagship was blown to smithereens in the massive blast, with countless wooden planks and metal parts hurled high into the air. Due to the greater amount of ammunition on the flagship, the power of the explosion was terrifying.

The shocking energy of the blast, carrying seawater, formed a water wall dozens of meters high, crashing toward the Port City shore with overwhelming force. Even Duke Bones, who was already in mid-air, was not spared. He was violently struck by the powerful force and flung toward the shore like a kite with a broken string.
