"Don't be dramatic, Ruby." Derek's tone was ice-cold, void of remorse or pity. "You're not the victim here. We both know I'm not accusing you of destroying the months of hard work we put in. Only a lunatic would do something this vile to spite her fiancé."
Ruby spun around, her teary eyes blazing.
"Don't you dare use that tone on me, Derek," she snapped, her voice shaking between rage and disbelief. "You think this is about us." She spat out between clenched jaws. "My team and I spent sleepless nights creating those unique collections. Some of those already made designs belong to our top clients. We have barely five days before the runway show. Who would do such a wicked thing like this?"
