From the moment I found myself in this place, I lost track of how much time had passed since I witnessed that horrific scene. A man was killed right in front of me, and the perpetrator showed no remorse whatsoever. For the first time, I felt an overwhelming longing for home; I wanted to return no matter the cost, but instead, I was treated like I had lost my mind.
The most bewildering part was my certainty that these people were not normal. Their glowing eyes and the unnatural speed at which they moved drove me to the brink of insanity. Whenever I encountered any of the brothers who had brought me here, I would scream at the top of my lungs. It wasn't fear that motivated me; rather, I wanted to frustrate them enough to let me go home.
The maids never spoke to me; they simply ensured that I was bathed and dressed in a beautiful gown, leaving me to converse with myself and eat alone.
