Nerina POV
I can hardly believe it; I found myself standing on all fours like a wolf.
Everyone around me turned to stare, and I felt a wave of confusion wash over me. It was strange, and then I heard that peculiar voice in my head.
"Hi, I'm Judy," she sang, making a sound that resembled stretching. I glanced around, trying to convince myself that I wasn't losing my mind.
"It's your wolf; you need to run," Devryck said as he stood up. What shocked me the most was when he removed his shirt, exposing his bare torso to me. But that wasn't what frightened me.
It was the scars and tattoos that adorned his body.
One tattoo, in particular, caught my attention, perhaps because it was boldly inscribed across his chest.
