Chapter 136: Miss Elf's Weakness

Lattland stared at Kurtz, confusion written across his face.

Asmodeus's origin remained extremely mysterious; no one in the Demon Race knew it, but the person in front of him seemed to know some truth.

"Aren't you going to kill me?"

"Killing you would only dirty my sword! Scram!" Kurtz retrieved Orger. "By the way, 'Seven Sages of Destruction' does sound much better than 'Four Heavenly Kings.' I suggest you adopt it."

Lattland struggled to his feet and disappeared from everyone's sight in complete disarray.

Serie walked over to Kurtz, looked in the direction Lattland had disappeared, and snorted lightly. "You're quite generous, even giving them a new title."

"The title isn't important. What's important is sending a message to Eric, and he'll die sooner or later anyway."

Kurtz shrugged and examined Serie's ankle. The petrified marks there had completely disappeared, leaving only fair skin. "Is your foot okay?"

"Mm."

"Just saying isn't enough. I need to see it to be sure!" Kurtz declared with righteous conviction, his gaze filled with what appeared to be genuine concern for his companion's physical safety.

Serie always felt his gaze carried something strange, so she instinctively refused. "No need."

"That won't do!" Kurtz's voice carried an undeniable tone. "It would be terrible if that guy's demonic petrification magic had some latent erosion effect. I'm speaking from experience on this one!"

Although Serie felt Kurtz made sense, before she could respond, the man had already moved in front of her, bending down and extending that seemingly ill-intentioned large hand.

"Kurtz!"

Serie instinctively tried to retreat, but the man's hand moved faster.

His palm instantly wrapped firmly around her slender ankle, and the heat from his palm immediately transferred onto her skin.

This made Serie completely freeze in place. If she accidentally fell, it would be very embarrassing.

"Please sit down first!" Kurtz looked up, his eyes full of worry, as if he truly was just concerned for his close friend.

His thumb gently landed on the skin that had just been hit by the petrification magic but had already recovered, carefully feeling the delicate coolness.

"How does it feel here?" He seemed to be asking, but his fingers traced circles on that skin, feeling the softness of the elf's skin, which felt like the finest silk.

Serie froze in place from his sudden actions and his caring gaze.

The sensation of her ankle being completely enveloped by his palm struck her as unusually clear. That warm feeling continued to emanate, mixed with the slight itch his fingers brought on.

It felt like tiny sparks climbing up her leg, making her whole body feel a strange tingling.

She lowered her head, looking at the man squatting in front of her. His hair fell forward, covering part of his face, leaving only a seemingly very serious profile, and at the same time, hiding the panic on the elf's face.

This weird feeling made her whole body shake.

"It looks like there's no problem," Kurtz muttered to himself, but his palm slid down her smooth calf naturally.

"You don't need to check there, do you?" Serie tried to stop him, but it was already too late.

The man removed her boot, revealing a cute little foot, and that small, exquisite sole rested supported by one hand.

Serie possessed beautifully shaped feet, with a slight arch and toes as round as jade. The skin on her feet appeared so fair it was almost transparent, and even the touch felt surprisingly delicate.

Kurtz's thumb gently, with a hint of probing pressure, scraped across Serie's tender and sensitive sole.

"Mm
!"

A sudden itch, like an electric current, instantly shot from her sole straight to her heart.

Serie's body trembled uncontrollably, and her toes instinctively curled up, just like a startled small animal curling up its body by instinct.

Having someone touch a place that had never been touched before like this, that weird and intense feeling made her scalp tingle!

"Don't be nervous!"

Kurtz had expected this reaction; anyone who had been tickled would react this way. However, although he said this, the hand supporting her foot became firmer, completely suppressing her instinctive urge to retract.

He even looked up and said solemnly, "Serie, relax. I'm just checking your nerve reflexes, which are unconscious body movements. Your strong reaction is actually a good thing, it means there's no damage to your sensation."

As he spoke, as if to verify his statement, his thumb once again, with even more deliberate pressure, massaged the soft flesh of her sensitive sole.

"I have never heard of that term, you... You let go of me first!" Serie's pointed elf ears had turned pink from the ticklish sensation and the tingling in her heart.

The ticklish feeling produced by the repeated teasing of her sole, mixed with the tingling sensation that made her heart beat faster, came in waves like a tide.

She struggled hard, but Kurtz's strength made it impossible for her to break free.

This scoundrel!

He definitely did this to make her look like a fool!

"Almost done, just a little more." Kurtz comforted her verbally, but his movements showed no sign of stopping.

He even pinched her rounded toes with his fingertips. "Mm, no stiffness at all. It looks like it recovered very well."

He commented with a serious expression, but she could see the smile in his eyes.

Serie felt both shy and annoyed.

Her golden eyes burned with raging flames, seemingly angry at Kurtz's rude behavior, but deep down, that unfamiliar feeling grew wildly like a vine.

This sense of being completely controlled, unable to resist, mixed with that indescribable feeling, made her almost collapse.

She could no longer endure this torment!

"Kurtz!"

Serie's voice shook with shame, anger, and something else she couldn't quite name.

She no longer hesitated; powerful magic instantly surged within her body, and a wave of cold air erupted from her ankle without warning.

Kurtz only felt his palm turn icy, as if he had gripped a piece of thousand-year-old ice. The biting cold made him instinctively loosen his grip slightly.

Now's the time.

Serie seized the opening Kurtz had created and immediately broke free from the man's restraint.

Her freed small foot condensed all her shame and anger, and with a graceful arc, she directly kicked Kurtz in his unprepared chest.

Bang!

"Ah!!!"

Kurtz had completely not expected this move from the elf miss and got kicked backward, making intimate contact with the ground.

It didn't hurt, after all, Serie's strength was limited. Even a full-force kick wouldn't send him flying, let alone the kick just now, which wasn't at full strength.

However, Kurtz still pretended to be in great pain, clutching his chest and grimacing. "Serie, are you trying to murder your... best friend?!"

Serie finally fully retracted her foot, her cheeks flushed with an abnormal redness, glaring at the man on the ground who was clearly faking it with a mix of shame and anger, her chest rising and falling slightly.
