"Where's the location?" Coulson hurried over to the bald agent, eyes fixed on his computer.
Nick Fury also cast a focused gaze at the screen.
"Stuttgart, Germany—28 Kunig Street. He's completely exposed; doesn't seem to care about hiding," the bald agent reported, eyes on the monitor.
Fury turned to Steve. "Captain, it's up to you."
Steve nodded and went to change into his uniform, preparing to depart.
In Stuttgart, Germany, Loki strode down the stairs of a grand hall, wearing a sleek suit and carrying his scepter, which could transform into a staff. His presence radiated an air of elegance and authority.
He approached an elderly man speaking into a microphone. Suddenly, Loki swung his scepter, sending a nearby guard flying aside. With one hand, he grabbed the elderly man and pressed him onto a nearby artistically decorated table.
From his pocket, Loki produced a small device and thrust it into the man's eye.
Raising his head, Loki cast a wicked smile toward the horrified guests, who were stepping back in fear.
Meanwhile, Hawkeye, already under Loki's influence, used the elderly man's eyeball to unlock the vault door, retrieving the metal element needed by Dr. Sevig.
After obtaining the element, Barton quickly fled with his team, leaving Loki in the banquet hall to continue his task.
Watching the panicked guests scatter like sheep, Loki restored the strange horns atop his head as he walked. He raised his scepter, blasting incoming police cars away, then instantly conjured multiple illusions of himself, surrounding the guests.
"Kneel!" Loki shouted at the frantic crowd.
The people, initially in chaos, quickly quieted down and sank to their knees. Loki laughed triumphantly.
"Isn't this how humans were meant to be?" he sneered."This is the truth humanity has failed to see."
As Loki strode through the crowd, basking in their forced reverence, he continued his monologue:
"The allure of freedom has stripped your lives of joy.You chase power, wealth, and status. But deep in your bones, you crave subjugation. You will eventually kneel before your rulers."
An elderly man with graying hair stood shakily. "That's not true… not for someone like you," he said disdainfully.
Loki chuckled. "I am one of a kind."
The old man retorted, "There will always be others like you."
Loki ignored him, raising his scepter toward the elderly man. Turning to the kneeling crowd, he mocked, "Look at this poor old fool—he is your example."
A beam of blue energy shot from Loki's scepter straight at the man.
But before it could hit, a figure raised a shield, intercepting the beam. The energy reflected, knocking Loki backward.
Behind the shield stood Captain Steve Rogers.
Steve addressed the fallen Loki: "Remember the last time I came to Germany? There was someone who elevated himself above others… he got taken down."
Loki rose, smiling wickedly. "A soldier, an outdated one at that."
At that moment, Natasha arrived overhead in her aircraft. Gun turrets trained on Loki as her voice came through the comms: "Loki, put down your weapon and surrender immediately."
Before she finished, Loki fired a blast at the aircraft. Natasha maneuvered to dodge. Steve launched his shield at Loki and engaged in close combat.
Below, Natasha frowned, watching the brawl.
Suddenly, upbeat music blared from the aircraft. Tony Stark's voice crackled through Natasha's comm:
"Agent Romanoff, have you missed me?"
A gold-and-red figure shot through the sky, swiftly arriving above the plaza. Tony fired his repulsors mid-dive, knocking Loki to the ground. Landing in a classic superhero pose, he raised his weapons, all aimed at Loki.
"Try moving again, you reindeer," Tony taunted.
Recognizing the danger, Loki lowered his weapons and helmet, raising his hands in surrender.
Tony and Steve escorted Loki onto the aircraft, heading for S.H.I.E.L.D.'s aerospace command ship.
"Did he say anything?" Fury's voice crackled in Natasha's comm.
"No, nothing at all," she replied.
Fury ordered, "Bring him in. We're on a tight schedule," then ended the transmission.
Steve, observing Loki sitting quietly, whispered to Tony, "Something doesn't feel right."
Tony replied, "What's wrong? Did the rock star surrender too easily?"
Steve continued, "It's not that simple. This guy is strong."
Perhaps Steve's words triggered Tony's arrogance, or maybe Loki's scepter had an effect on him.
Tony smirked, "For someone your age, you've got decent observation skills."
Then, glancing at Steve, he asked, "What's your secret?"
"What?" Steve frowned, confused by Tony's random question.
Tony smirked, "Your hand-to-hand earlier… looked a bit like aerobics. You've missed a lot of new techniques over the years."
Steve, provoked, shot back coldly, "Fury never said he called you here too."
Tony raised an eyebrow, replying, "Fury left plenty of things unsaid."
Suddenly, bright streaks of lightning flashed outside the aircraft, followed by the roar of thunder.
