"I know who he is!"
Watching Tao Wen stomp the Abomination unconscious, the group was once again stunned beyond measure. Simultaneously, one of the Soldiers shouted out.
"Who?"
General Ross and Betty, along with the other Soldiers, all looked over.
"He's the Steel Plate Man, who's all the rage right now! I heard about him a long time ago. His body is stronger than steel; he's a true mobile fortress! No wonder he has such confidence! He's a Superhero, someone to be admired!"
The Soldier said loudly.
Steel Plate Man!
The minds of everyone, whether they knew him or not, were imprinted with this name at this moment.
Superhero, a term of worship!
Among them, many people even held a strange kind of worship!
"Alright, the threat has been neutralized, General Ross, I'm going to lock it up in a S.H.I.E.L.D. prison. Do you have any objections?"
Tao Wen looked at General Ross and said.
"Of course not. I originally intended to hand it over to S.H.I.E.L.D."
General Ross said, and as he spoke, his eyes flickered with a glint. Of course, he didn't want to hand the Abomination over to S.H.I.E.L.D. for them to study; he wanted to study it himself. However, now, his interest in Tao Wen was greater than his interest in the Abomination.
"Okay."
Tao Wen replied.
Thump, thump, thump.
Just as Tao Wen was about to call Fury, the sound of running came from not far away. A graceful figure rushed over; it was Natasha, who had been searching all along.
As soon as Natasha appeared, the Soldiers raised their guns again, aiming at her.
"Friendly fire."
"You're just in time. Get someone to take it to prison."
Tao Wen gestured to the Soldiers and then spoke to Natasha in a commanding tone.
"You!"
Natasha was already furious, and her anger flared up even more. But when she saw the Abomination lying unconscious, her anger instantly turned to grief.
Tao Wen's victory was a heavy blow to her, causing her competitive spirit to falter once more.
Especially with a group of Soldiers watching, she had no choice but to consider S.H.I.E.L.D.'s reputation, and immediately made a phone call.
"That's more like it."
Tao Wen looked at the scene with satisfaction, a victorious smile on his face. Women, after all, were better off not being too strong-willed.
"Thank you for your help."
General Ross took out a cigar from his pocket and offered it to Tao Wen, wanting to chat.
"General, it's my duty. Sorry, I don't smoke."
Tao Wen refused General Ross's cigar and picked up a bottle of Happy Soda from the ground of a nearby shop: "I prefer this."
With the unique sound of the Happy Soda, Tao Wen took a satisfying gulp, and he felt his whole body's cells rejoicing with the drink.
"Young people are full of energy."
General Ross was a little embarrassed, but he quickly recovered and praised, "Excellent work."
"General Ross, please give me your contact information."
Tao Wen picked up his phone and said.
"Sure."
General Ross was somewhat eager, and immediately agreed, promptly giving Tao Wen his phone number.
"And your daughter's as well."
Tao Wen's gaze fell on Betty.
Wearing a white shirt, she was drenched in sweat, unable to conceal her fiery figure. After this period of rest, she was no longer so tired, and there was also a hint of admiration in her eyes as she looked at Tao Wen.
It's perfectly normal to admire heroes.
She also knew that Tao Wen was asking for her contact information because of Banner.
"Okay."
Betty made the decision first and gave Tao Wen her contact information. General Ross was quite satisfied with this. Compared to Banner, he preferred Tao Wen, a normal human. If Tao Wen could be with Betty, it would be even better.
He could also extract some experimental materials from Tao Wen.
Soon, a special car arrived, and with Tao Wen's help, the Abomination was loaded into the car.
"Goodbye, everyone."
Tao Wen waved to General Ross and the others and got into the car.
"Goodbye."
The Soldiers also waved, their eyes filled with deep respect, the proper attitude towards a strong individual.
Natasha didn't return with Tao Wen. She entered the bustling city, disappearing from sight.
The driver was a large, middle-aged man. After smiling at Tao Wen, he began to drive with a steady hand.
Tao Wen sat in the car, playing with his phone. The phone was indeed very advanced and had a tracking system, which amazed him.
As they approached S.H.I.E.L.D., Betty sent a text message: Eight o'clock tomorrow night, Queen's Bar.
What does she want with me? To talk about Banner?
Tao Wen murmured, slightly puzzled. In the original story, although Betty and Banner were lovers, their relationship slowly faded over time, especially after Banner and Natasha had a romance.
"We're here, sir."
The driver interrupted Tao Wen's thoughts, reminding him that this wasn't the driver's final destination, but a convenient drop-off for Tao Wen at S.H.I.E.L.D.
"Thank you, goodbye."
Tao Wen put away his phone and got out of the car.
After watching the vehicle drive away, Tao Wen walked toward S.H.I.E.L.D.
"Tao, you're really outstanding. I'm sure you'll become S.H.I.E.L.D.'s best agent."
As soon as he entered the gate, Coulson came out of S.H.I.E.L.D. and gave Tao Wen a big hug, looking very excited.
"Just lucky, just lucky."
Tao Wen didn't seem particularly surprised. Knowing Marvel as he did, he naturally knew that Coulson had admired superheroes when he was young, and was Captain America's number one fan. Even though he was now in a high position, his enthusiasm for superheroes hadn't diminished.
Fragment +1
However, Tao Wen was even more pleased with the value that appeared before him. With a slight flicker, the fragment merged into the percentage, becoming: 3/8
"Where are you going?"
Tao Wen looked at Coulson curiously, slightly surprised by his appearance. Although he was now in the Marvel world, he found that time had subtly changed. Iron Man 2 and The Incredible Hulk weren't originally on the same timeline, but now they aligned, which was rather strange.
He had to be cautious.
In the Thor storyline, Coulson appeared and played a certain role.
"I'm going to the prison to handle something, regarding your capture of the Abomination."
Coulson said, "I'll go first. See you later."
"Take care."
Tao Wen waved at Coulson, watching him leave.
Five more fragments and I'll get a new one, but how do I get them?
Tao Wen couldn't help but anticipate getting a new fragment. Lost in thought, he figured he could look for Barton and try to get some fragments from him. After all, he and Barton weren't exactly friends, so a fight would be normal.
As long as he didn't kill anyone, that egghead Fury wouldn't interfere too much. Besides, he'd been itching to take Barton down a peg.
"Where the hell is Barton?"
When he walked into the office, he found that Barton wasn't there. Only the cleaning staff was tidying up.
"Such a shiny egg!"
He began to wander aimlessly through the corridors. When he reached a corner, he saw Fury's big, bald head shining brightly in the sunlight.
He couldn't quite control himself and walked forward, slapping Fury on the head.
