The next morning Bai Chun woke up in bed with Li Bai snuggled up to him. Her lips pouted in her sleep looking slightly swollen. She wore a pink Dudou 'A bra like undergarment' that tied behind her neck and her thin waist.
With a grunt Bai Chun sat up his chest exposed to the air and his hair lose.
"Li Bai." He said brushing his hand on her cheek. With a mumble she slowly woke up, finally sitting up when she realized he was awake.
"Oh, sorry Zhangfu this concubine overslept." She said the corner of her eyes red with sleep. He just smiled and patted her head.
"It's fine it sounds like Qizi and Tao Chun are awake get up and join them." He said leaning down to kiss her softly. She blushed and pulled on a Orange dress with short sleeves then wrapped a light blue long skirt around her waist before tying it down with a orange belt cloth. She then hurried out to help with the morning clean up with a awkward gait.
Bai Chun stood and pulled on a pair of black pants, the pulled on a white short cross collar hanfu then a tan jacket tying it round his arms and waist with a strip of cloth to keep from moving around as he hunted. He then pulled on a pair of wooden shoes tying it around his calves. Then after tying his hair up and out of the way he left the concubines room.
Outside the room Tao Chun held a cloth rag wiping the table off while frowning. Li Bai stood at the stove heaving up the stew from the night before. Tao Fang sat down on a chair with a smile holding a needle she brought with her with her small dowery making embroidery stiches on a green cloth.
"Qizi what are you doing?" Bai Chun asked with a frown. Tao Fang jumped at his words and looked at him with wide eyes.
"Um, Zhangfu, qizi gave them some jobs to do and now qizi is embroidering your clothes." She said nervously. He gave her a deep look.
"Hmm, make sure to help around the house as well. They are my concubines not maids." He pointed out avoiding a argument with her. She put what she held to the side and bowed.
"Yes Zhangfu." She said.
"Now listen. I will go hunting and sell what I catch for some money." He told them. Tao Fang quickly stepped forward.
"Zhangfu, please bring some of what you catch back we need some meat at home. Oh we also need some rice and other things for the house. Please buy some stuff for the house." She quickly said thinking about how they are running low on food since there are four people in the house. Bai Chun looked at her with a frown and changed his mind.
"No I will come back to the house instead to pick you up and you can come with me to buy things for the house. Make sure you are ready dressed and with the money as well." He told her. Tao Fang happily smiled and nodded.
"Yes Zhangfu." She said with a bow. With their conversation done the women stood at the gate of the house and sent him off.
"Zhangfu come back safe."
"Zhangfu catch a lot."
"Zhangfu return soon." With that he slowly walked off to the forest.
Bai Chun kneeled on the ground finishing setting up his last trap. His hand dirty due to the damp dirt from the morning dew. Done Bai Chun grabbed his small bow and his dagger before disappearing into the trees to hunt.
As dawn broke the sky gradually brightened. The tall trees in the forest swayed lightly with the wind. The sound of the birds is gradually heard as the woke up with the light to start their day. Mixed in with all this, a thumping sound is heard as if something is running. Panting a deer whizzed through the forest running away. It looked to be around 150 pounds as it crashed through the bushes and ran around trees. With a woosh a arrow flew past it's head sticking to the ground at a angle near its legs. Then with a crash the deer tripped and tumbled to the ground.
Bai Chun dropped his bow and rushing over he jumped onto the deer while pulling his dagger out. Then with a quick motion he sliced its throat before quickly jumping off of it and stepping back.
The deer thrashed on the ground violently for a minute before quickly dying to blood loss. Bai Chun breathing heavily lifted the deer and stopped at the river nearby cleaning the deer of its blood. Then while holding the deer her walks back home stopping at his traps to pick up two fowls and a rabbit.
As he approached the house he saw Tao Fang waiting for him at the gate a pink skirt and green jacket on. Her hair is tied up and wrapped with a pink cloth with peony's embroidered on it, making her youthful face seem brighter.
"Zhangfu!" She called out with a smile holding a empty woven basket.
Bai Chun grunted and stopped in front of her.
"Call someone over to take these." He held up the fowls and rabbit he caught.
"We will raise the fowls and eat the rabbit." He said his hands dirty. Tao Fang nodded and walked inside. Before long Li Bai rushed over and greeted Bai Chun.
"Zhangfu." She then took the fowl and locked them inside so the did run off. She then came back and took the rabbit.
"Sister Qizi, Zhangfu please return soon." She said with a bow before going inside. Tao Fang closed the gate door and smiled at Bai Chun.
"Zhangfu let's go." She said. Bai Chun nodded with a smile.
They walked together to the city. Tao Fang worried over him since he carried the deer the whole time but he just brushed her off since he's done it many times. After the finally reached the city the guard stopped them.
"Two copper per person." Bai Chun looked at Tao Fang since she hand the money pouch. She reached into her sleeve where she hand the pouch tied to her arm inside and pulled out four copper.
"Here you go sir." She said handing it over. The guard looked her over then gave Bai Chun a approving nod. He's known him since Bai Chun first started hunting when he was nine. Bai Chun smiled and nodded to him as they walked pass.
Once inside they head straight to the butchers and spent ten copper the after rushing around to sell everything for twenty-five copper they added eleven to their pocket. This left then with seven silver and eighty-one copper. Done Bai Chun found himself being dragged around to shop. Tao Fang picked out rice, beans, and some vegetables for them. She then dragged him to buy some seeds so they can start a small garden to avoid buying in town so much in the future.
They spent two silver and twenty-five copper on everything. They then leave the city with everything the bought in the basket Tao Fang brought.
"Glad we got some seeds to grow. We can start a garden at home." Tao Fang said happily looking down at the basket with a smile.
"Your right. Just make sure you help and don't put all the work onto the other women." He subtly warned her again. She pouted and clung to his arm.
"Zhangfu this Qizi is just tired and sore from the wedding night."
He glanced down at her puffy lips.
"Remember we are in public. Besides Li Bai was also tired and sore." He muttered to her quietly. At his words she blushed and let go of his arm.
"Sorry Zhangfu." She said softly. He just nodded at her. After walking they finally reached home. Inside Li Bai had chopped up the rabbit and cooked it for them to eat.
"Zhangfu, Sister Qizi your home." Tao Chun said happily mostly to Bai Chun. She walked over her hips swaying as she did so and clung to his arm. Tao Fang gave her a glare but didn't say anything as she walked to the kitchen area where Li Bai was to show what she got and also help out.
"Zhangfu what did you and Sister Qizi do today?' Tao Chun said happily following Bai Chun while clinging to his arm as he walked to the room.
"Mmm, we sold the deer and bought some things for the house." He said humming as he sat down on the bed. Tao Chun giggled and sat next to him and wrapped her arms around his neck. She wore a simple sexy hanfu that she tied slightly lower on her chest to show her cleavage. Bai Chun narrowed his eyes wrapping his arms around her waist. With a gasp she blushed not expecting him to do that.
"Naughty." She mumbled her words quickly stopped by a kiss from Bai Chun.
"Be good." He mumbled against her lips before reaching up and tugging at the top of her hanfu his finger brushing against her breast.
Blushing she stood up and fixed it up higher covering her breast. Bai Chun gave her a look while standing. He leaned down to kiss her again.
"Mmm later." He said before leaving the room. Tao Chun blushing smiled happily.
'Hehe finally he will sleep with me. I noticed he seems to favor Li Bai I need to get his attention before he settles on one of the other two.' Thinking this she clenched her fist determined.
At the table Tao Fang placed their bowls and chopsticks down.
"Food is ready." She said with a smile. Li Bai stood next to her smiling softly her eyes glancing at Bai Chun and blushing she looked away.
They all sat down Tao Chun sitting across from him rubbed her foot on his leg under the table. Bai Chun took a deep breath and ate his food with a straight face, though his face is slightly red. Once they finished eating Tao Chun grabbed Bai Chun's hand.
"Zhangfu wish to sleep now?" She asked fluttering her eyelashes. Bai Chun glanced outside.
"Hmm not yet." He looked at Tao Fang.
"Did they build the fowl a place to be outside?" Tao Fang smiled and nodded.
"Li Bai told me when we got back that the built a simple coup for them in the back and she wanted to ask if you could build a better one for them soon." She said. Tao Chun pouted next to Bai Chun who nodded his head.
"I will look into it soon." With that he turned and walked to the concubines room Tao Chun following behind him.
Not long later as the sky became dark the sound of soft gasps and moans filled the room.
The next day Bai Chun went hunting and made thirty copper before spending the whole day studying.
