Power System: Qi
Qi is a secondary core energy. Every person in this world has a heart, and next to it is a spiritual heart - this is Qi.
Qi provides both physical buffs and a spiritual "aura."
Qi is innate and determined by genetics. You cannot increase its capacity beyond your natural limit. If your Qi is weaker than someone else's, that is your limit.
Example:
Character A: Qi potential is 10 - this is their maximum capacity.
Character B: Qi potential is 6 - this is their maximum capacity.
Both start as children at level 1 and gradually grow stronger.
There are also "Paths." A Path allows you to fully unlock your potential. You only gain a Path by following something with true conviction.
Example:
If someone is a merchant, they can gain a Path by passionately pursuing their trade.
If someone takes advantage of others, their Path will reflect abilities related to that behavior.
When you unlock your Path, your Qi reaches a completely new level.
