The clock tower hung upside down in the sky, pulled by twelve iron chains—truly bizarre.
But placed in this city, it seemed pretty ordinary.
Directly below the clock tower was a huge plaza. On the plaza, you could see a statue and lots of tulip sculptures. Pedestrians were everywhere—and every single one was a supernatural being.
Magicians, knights, rogues too. Except for clerics, pretty much every supernatural profession was there.
Looking across the entire continent, you probably couldn't find another country, another city like this.
Even the City of Alchemy formed by alchemists, or the city-states built by stargazers, couldn't pull this off.
In those city-states, some ordinary people would show up, some merchants and such, helping supernatural beings obtain necessary supplies and services.
But here, there truly wasn't a single ordinary person. Everyone was supernatural.
Just this alone was shocking enough.
Even weirder were the city's buildings.
