It was my first time doing something like this and honestly it was thrilling.

I channeled mana through my skin, letting the mana crackle at my fingertips.

Gradually, I let my finger hover over one of the wooden buckets before inscribing on it.

One after another I began writing the runic variant of codes into it.

There was no reaction, since I needed to apply mana directly to it so it could activate.

Within a few minutes I was done writing.
