Once Quincy and I were done building the cabin, we settled in and arranged the necessary things like food and furniture. I even set up an ondol, which was unfamiliar to Quincy but quite common in Korea.
Looking at the house now, I couldn't help but admire its beauty. A golden fluorescent light hung in front of the cabin, casting a warm glow over the leveled sand path. The light didn't just illuminate the area but also helped ward off insects.
Inside the cabin was a single living room accessible through the front door. In it were three doors: one led to my room, another to Quincy's, and the last to the kitchen.
You might ask where the bathroom is. Well, the bathroom was behind the house, standing on its own, just like the storage room.
"I think we did well," I muttered, inhaling the crisp, floral scent of our cabin.
