Chapter 240 - The Upgraded Main Building!

In terms of aesthetics, he didn't think it would be improved much—but it did.

The outer building alone seemed much more refined. Before the upgrade, it looked like a house made by a relatively skilled carpenter partnered with a decent mason.

Now, it looked like it was handcrafted by artisans.

The entrance was grander now, too. The staircase to the front door seemed to be made of marble. The door jamb and headers were now stone and had engraved patterns. It was nothing too complex, but it was pleasing to the eye.

He looked up and saw that the corners of the roofs, as well as the corbel (that protrusion that seemed to help support the roof overhang, which was usually ornamental on modern Earth, though he wasn't sure how it was here), also had a similar pattern.
