Roger shrugged. "I don't know. Gary wouldn't talk about it. And Cal…well, he stopped communicating with me, too. I haven't spoken to him in ages."
"You said Tate called you. Did he tell you about what Gary did to Hailey?" asked Blue.
"Yes," said Roger. "I have to tell you I was shocked. It's one thing for Gary to…do what he did with his students. But Hailey?" He shook his head. "Tate was angry when he called me earlier today. He said he believed Cal had knowledge about what Gary had done to Hailey. I got the feeling he wanted to tell me something important, something about Cal…then he changed the subject."
"Hmm. You have a guess about what he wanted to tell you?"
"I don't," said Roger. "But I got the impression he was afraid of Cal."
