"High-five them and tell them they did a good job." Blue rubbed her temples again. "Where's Riley?"
Colt grimaced. "He's with Betty Mae and Hailey in conference room three. Dr. Murphy's coming in with Tate's personal effects and to walk Betty Mae through the process of claiming Tate's body." He shook his head. "I can't believe Tate killed himself."
"The weight on his soul must've been crushing," said Blue. She grunted. "My head is
killing me. You got Tylenol?"
"There's some in the break room. The drawer next to the fridge." He held up the paper. "I'm headed to the school now."
"Okay. Call if you get anything."
Colt nodded then turned around and walked back down the hallway. Blue went into the break room. The strong scent of coffee made her stomach roil. She found the bottle of pills and swallowed three with a glass of water.
"Hey, Blue," said Merrie's perky voice. "I have good news!"
Blue turned around and leaned against the counter. "I could use a double shot of that."
