Blue nodded and took the seat next to her. "How is Hailey holding up?"
"Stronger than her mama," said Betty Mae with a sorrowful smile. "I can't believe he's gone. I can't believe he…" She trailed off, looking down. "It's like a bad dream." Her gaze flittered around the room until it landed on the photo of their mystery victim. "Why do you have a drawing of Juan in here? Or at least I think that's Juan. It's been a while."
Blue went cold, all the way to her toes. "Juan?"
She nodded. "He was Rosa Gonzales' boy. You know, the housekeeper for the Piersons." Her lips thinned. "Tate told me she was Mr. Pierson's mistress." She nodded toward the photo. "Carlos was Haldon's son, too. Not that he admitted it. Haldon wasn't a nice man."
"So I've heard. Do you know where Rosa is now?"
