Chapter 168 - Bracelets of Pure Suffering

Garion smiled, resting the greatsword on his shoulder.

"Alright. Now I know exactly what to do with you. You've got good instincts but need refinement… and also a stronger body to handle this greatsword."

Raviel frowned. "Stronger body? You mean more training?"

Garion grinned. "Exactly. But not just any training."

He reached into his system storage and pulled out four dark metallic bands.

They looked like simple bracelets, but each one gave off a faint pressure.

He placed them on the ground in front of Raviel.

"Put these on. You'll wear them all the time."

Raviel crouched down, picking one up. The moment his fingers touched it, his expression changed.

"What the?! Why's this so heavy?"

He struggled just to lift it with one hand.

Garion chuckled. "Each one's fifty kilograms."

Raviel's eyes widened. "Fifty? You mean… two hundred in total?"

Garion nodded, completely serious. "Correct. Two hundred kilograms. You'll wear them on your wrists and ankles at all times."
