Chapter 41 - Three Idiots

GTA, short for Grand Theft Auto, features game characters who are mostly gangsters or street thugs. Players can follow the main storyline, engage in side missions, or do extra tasks to earn money if they don't want to do either.

The hallmark of this game series is its high degree of freedom. You can play it for half a year or even a year without doing the main or side missions, thanks to its high level of freedom. You can do whatever you want; the only limit is your imagination.

"Hmm, feasible. Rockstar Games in my previous life had many limitations, resulting in incomplete implementation of many unique features. But I don't have those limitations. I have the technology and the money, so I can definitely surpass the GTA5 of my previous life!"

Han Yu gradually became excited. The sales of GTA5 had always been at the forefront. Even after being released for several years, it was always among the top sellers every year. Because of the game's high degree of freedom, crime had become the norm in the game.

Therefore, netizens jokingly called the main city in the game, Los Santos, as "a place with simple folk customs," giving the term a whole new meaning.

Han Yu immediately logged out of the game and looked through the game settings on his phone. Sure enough, the game was on his phone. In his previous life, this game wasn't available on phones.

He tried to open the game, and clicking the icon brought up a window.

"This game belongs to the computer version. To play, you need to spend ten Upgrade Points to redeem it."

This made Han Yu widen his eyes. Wow, this game actually costs ten Upgrade Points! He only had 28 Upgrade Points right now. This one game would take a third of his points. It was practically highway robbery!

"Forget it, whether I die sooner or later, I still have to die. Let's exchange!"

Han Yu gritted his teeth and chose to exchange. No matter how much he complained, the required Upgrade Points wouldn't decrease. He might as well just get it over with.

"Ding! New game obtained. GTA5 production method file has been sent to the host's email. Please check it."

A small red dot lit up on his phone's email icon. Han Yu opened it, but closed it the next second. The dazzling data and code inside gave him a headache. He immediately sent the file to Ultron.

He also explained some of the enhancements he wanted. He hoped Ultron could make it. Originally, Han Yu had planned to ask Stark to help find someone to do it, but it was better to rely on himself. He had a super-intelligent robot, so why did he need Stark?

Han Yu lay down comfortably, imagining what the GTA game of his dreams would look like after it was made. His beautiful imagination had just begun when the room door was slammed open with a "boom." Ultron rushed in, grabbed Han Yu's shoulders.

"Boss, where did you get that game file you sent me? You want me to make it, right? This game is absolutely amazing! Compared to it, all the games in the country are like crap!"

Han Yu pushed away Ultron's excited hands. Anyone who didn't know better would think he was about to kiss him. Han Yu sat up, patted his shoulder, and said, "That's right, I want you to make this game, but it can't affect the production of the Mutant memory search program."

"That thing has been ready for a while."

With that, Ultron used some of his components to quickly fashion a USB drive and handed it to Han Yu.

"Regular computers can't achieve these computational results. I estimate that only Stark's private satellites or SHIELD's surveillance systems could do it. Boss, take your time studying it. I'm going to go make the game! Don't worry; I'll definitely make this game carefully. I'm increasingly looking forward to the day it goes live!"

Ultron rambled on and on, then dashed off. Han Yu heard him bump into Quicksilver outside. The two of them exchanged a few words, then ran off together. They were truly internet addicts; the game hadn't even started, and they seemed to be hooked already.

The next day, Han Yu, still groggy from sleep, was dragged out of bed in his pajamas by Ultron and Quicksilver, who unceremoniously hauled him towards the workshop.

"What's going on? I was sleeping,"

Han Yu mumbled, rubbing his eyes, dissatisfied.

"Boss, look!"

Ultron pointed at the computer in front of Han Yu and said.

The screen displayed a little person running. As the person ran, they started attacking passersby. After beating them up, they continued running and even stole a car.

Han Yu's eyes suddenly lit up when he saw the image. He said, "You've already made it?"

The画面 was from the game Grand Theft Auto. Could Ultron have really created it overnight? It was impossible. Even with his skills, a game this massive would take at least a week to perfect without any flaws.

Ultron scratched his head and said, "No, Boss, this is just a concept mini-game. I made it to show you if it's what you envisioned. If it is, I'll proceed accordingly."

After trying it out, Han Yu found that he could only run, walk, throw punches, and drive. Furthermore, the map was tiny, less than one percent of the original size.

"Mm, not bad. Build it with this idea in mind. You need to pay attention to those specific points I marked. Don't rush, but aim for quality. You can spend whatever you need for money, understood?"

Han Yu said. He had initially planned to develop several games, like a battle royale or classic demolition games. Then he thought, why bother creating multiple games and splitting his own resources?

Fortunately, the GTA series offers all these features. Han Yu naturally didn't need to worry about funding. It's said the best GTA5 cost $200 million. Han Yu wouldn't even bat an eye at spending $2 billion on this game.

He already had tens of billions in savings. Spending two billion on a game was, in his eyes, just a drop in the bucket. Selling a single energy device could bring in hundreds of millions of dollars. Why would he care?

Ultron chuckled, "Hehe, Boss, if you put it that way, I won't be polite. I'll choose the best server equipment."

Han Yu also laughed heartily, waving his hand with a generous air. "Spend whatever you need!"

Even the three of them were so excited. They could already imagine the sensation the game would cause worldwide when it was released.

As they thought about it, someone started laughing. The other two didn't mock him, but instead joined in. The three of them stood there in the workshop, hands on their hips, laughing up at the sky like fools.

Wanda stood at the door, looking at this scene speechlessly. The three of them standing in a triangle and laughing looked so silly.

"Are they three idiots?"
