Han Yu stood up and surveyed the study, then walked towards Kingpin.
He didn't even glance at the suit-clad man Kingpin had killed, simply stepping over the corpse as he closed the distance with Kingpin.
Kingpin stared intently at the young man before him. He'd been involved in the underworld for years, but he'd never encountered an opponent like Han Yu, who put him under so much pressure.
What's this guy planning? He's moving so casually, as if he's already prepared a way to deal with me. What is it, a sniper, or a bomb? What kind of super-powered individual is he? Could he be a speedster like that other guy?
Kingpin's thoughts raced, analyzing Han Yu's next move. In contrast, Han Yu wasn't thinking along those lines at all.
Tsk tsk tsk, the guy's loaded. This study alone has two floors, almost as big as my General Store. I need to buy a house like this someday!
Han Yu thought to himself. He was about to ask Kingpin how much a house like this cost, but before his lips could even part, before he could even utter a single syllable, Kingpin shouted and raised his cane, pressing the head of the cane towards Han Yu.
Countless red lasers shot from the end of the cane towards Han Yu. Given the example of the suit-clad man on the ground, being hit by these lasers would, at the very least, result in a large hole through him.
Han Yu didn't think the other party's attack could hurt him, but the sudden move still annoyed him.
He didn't blame Kingpin for sending assassins after him; in fact, he wanted to thank him. If Kingpin hadn't done that, Han Yu might have only discovered the Mutants through the news headlines.
Starting the task of gathering Mutants then would have been much more difficult.
So, he'd come this time to repay kindness for evil. He wondered what had gotten into Kingpin, why he was attacking him again. Did they have such a big grudge?
Watching the red laser beams shoot towards him, Han Yu sighed softly and shook his head. With a flicker, he vanished from where he stood, leaving the red lasers to hit nothing.
"Where is he?"
Kingpin became nervous, gripping his cane tightly as he searched for Han Yu in the study.
Suddenly, a clean white hand enlarged in his vision, and it slapped the 400-pound Kingpin, sending him flipping backward.
He was sprawled on the ground, unable to get up for a moment.
"Crazy."
Han Yu took out a towel and wiped his hands. He'd developed a bad habit of immediately attacking whenever something happened, but thankfully, he didn't have any twisted personality traits, like killing people at the slightest provocation.
He went up and kicked Kingpin again, then left.
The study fell silent again. The moment Han Yu left, Kingpin's subordinates rushed in. Seeing Kingpin lying on the ground with a swollen face, they were all shocked and hurried forward to help him up.
"Useless, why didn't you come in just now!"
Kingpin shook off their support, shouting loudly.
"Mr. Kingpin, we wanted to come in, but our bodies suddenly froze in place. It was like four invisible hands were firmly gripping our limbs, and we couldn't move at all."
"This kid, just who is he…"
Kingpin stared at the rain outside the window, gradually lost in thought, the swelling on his face still aching.
Han Yu had just returned to the General Store, intending to go back to his room and rest, when he saw Wanda knocking on Quicksilver's door, "Pietro, what are you doing? Dinner is ready!"
"Not eating, busy, leave it there for now!"
Quicksilver's voice came from the room. Wanda felt a bit puzzled and shrugged, turning to leave. She happened to meet Han Yu coming upstairs and asked him, "Do you know what he's doing? He's not coming out to eat."
Wanda hadn't been present the last time they discussed Mutants, and there was no need to hide it from her. So, Han Yu repeated to Wanda what he had told Ultron and Quicksilver. Unexpectedly, this piqued the little girl's interest.
"Yu, when the Mutant Academy is established, can I be a teacher?"
Becoming a teacher? Han Yu hadn't considered that. He just wanted to build a "Shangri-La" where Mutants could live without discrimination. He hadn't thought about teaching himself.
But if Wanda wanted to, Han Yu thought it was fine.
Although he called Wanda and the others employees of the General Store, he didn't really care what they did as long as it wasn't harmful or hurt innocent people.
The General Store didn't have much business anyway, and Han Yu could handle it all himself. He'd taken them on just to complete the General Store's tasks.
Han Yu smiled. "Sure, I think Pietro had the same idea. You two can go together, and guide those Mutant kids."
"Yay!"
Wanda jumped up in delight, hugging Han Yu and giving him a deep kiss on the cheek, then started chattering to herself.
"I need to get ready! What should I teach? I never went to school myself, so I can't teach academics. Maybe I'll teach them how to control their powers? Yes, that's a good idea. I'll go practice right now. I need to be a good teacher!"
"Han Yu, I'll eat dinner on my own tonight. I'm going to practice my powers in the storage room."
Before Han Yu could respond, Wanda dashed off towards the storage room, leaving Han Yu both amused and helpless.
This girl, does she have dreams of being a teacher? So much enthusiasm.
Han Yu shook his head with a chuckle and headed towards the dining room. Ever since he discovered he could expand space within the General Store, Han Yu had enlarged the dining room.
Its size could accommodate forty or fifty people without feeling cramped, perfect for entertaining guests from various worlds.
Fortunately, dinner tonight wasn't extravagant, otherwise, it would have been a rather lonely sight for Han Yu to face a table piled high with food all by himself in such a large dining room.
After finishing his meal, Han Yu cooked some more dishes and put them in a thermal container for Quicksilver or Wanda. Then, he returned to his room, lay down on his bed, and started playing a game.
"What game should I play?"
Han Yu was playing the game while pondering this question. In a world where the supernatural was constantly appearing, people were often hurt by the battles between superheroes and supervillains, yet they had no way to vent their frustrations.
Those with kind hearts could only endure in silence, occasionally grumbling to those around them. If they met someone less kind and also unhappy with the current state of affairs, they would take action directly. Protests and destruction were the norm.
He needed to create a game similar to the real world, where people could do whatever they wanted. This would not only allow players to vent their anger, but the gameplay would also be unique in this world, guaranteeing a large player base.
"Freedom, the real world, lawlessness..."
A look of joy suddenly flashed in Han Yu's eyes as he pondered. He slapped his thigh and exclaimed.
"Got it! GTA!"
