"Wow, they even changed this. Swapping powers is one thing, but changing the name? That's just lame."
Han Yu couldn't help but laugh. The Chinese on the card was fine when read in English, but translating it back into Chinese made it sound ridiculous.
"What's so funny?" Erik asked, noticing Han Yu chuckling to himself.
"Nothing, just remembered something amusing," Han Yu quickly waved his hand, brushing it off.
"Oh."
Erik nodded. Best not to pry — after all, they had only known each other for less than a day.
After briefing the two on the matter, Han Yu decided to return to New York that night. He was still the owner of the grocery store, and the mutant academy was something he was merely helping with; he couldn't personally oversee everything.
Erik and Charles were reliable, and after Han Yu had gone over the details, he could rest easy leaving them in charge.
"Well, I'm heading back to New York. Didn't expect things to resolve so quickly. I've left my phone number and the address with you; contact me anytime if something comes up."
"Don't worry. Once we finish construction, we'll let you know. Here, you'll have the principal position. Don't forget to check in on your students now and then," Charles said with a smile.
Han Yu could only nod reluctantly. He had intended for Charles or Erik to take the principal role, but they insisted on giving it to him. They knew he wouldn't be back often — the work would fall to them anyway.
Charles explained that since it was Han Yu who proposed the project and funded it, the mutants — most of whom had never met him — should at least know who made this possible, giving them a stable environment.
Han Yu felt a small surge of emotion at this. He hadn't misjudged them and accepted the principal position, promising to keep an eye on the academy.
That same evening, Charles and Erik both resigned from their previous positions to fully focus on the mutant academy.
With Charles's wealth and Han Yu's investment, they could pursue the project without worrying about costs.
Because the number of students was uncertain, they deliberately chose a remote location for the academy — far from ordinary people, with ample space for mutant children to train and play.
Selecting the land alone cost tens of billions of dollars; building the academy would cost hundreds of billions — this wasn't just a school, it was essentially a small city.
To manage some of the details, Erik used his telepathy to subtly influence people, ensuring compliance without raising suspicion. Though he couldn't fully manipulate memories yet, minor interference was enough to achieve agreement.
But all that was still in the future; the mutant academy wasn't going to be built overnight.

Back at the grocery store, Quicksilver and Wanda had absorbed the serums, while Ultron had completed his body fusion. Now, all three trained in the miscellaneous space they had opened in the alternate dimension.
Quicksilver's speed had increased several times over. Previously, his body couldn't handle maximum speed, but now, after enhancement, he could move even faster.
Wanda's improvements were less visible but just as significant. Her enhanced body allowed her to process and control chaos magic more efficiently, now capable of spatial distortion with casual attacks.
Ultron, however, looked the most fearsome. A single ordinary punch emitted a piercing sonic boom, echoing throughout the alternate dimension. Han Yu estimated that if Ultron went all out, one punch could split the Earth in half.
"Hey, don't swing your fists around! It's too loud!" Quicksilver complained, covering his ears.
Wanda shrugged, pointing to her ears: "I used magic to block out the sound. Can't hear a thing."
Quicksilver was stunned. Realizing he couldn't beat Ultron anyway, he flipped him off and crafted a pair of headphones from a green energy ring to block the noise.
Just then, Ultron looked back with joy:
"Boss, you're back!"
"Yu!"
Both ran to Han Yu, excitedly explaining their transformations. Quicksilver stood apart, feeling left out, "Are you guys ganging up on me?"
That evening, to celebrate Ultron's new body and Wanda and Quicksilver's upgrades to Captain America-level physique, Han Yu personally cooked hometown dishes.
Ultron, almost moved to tears, mumbled through a mouthful of food in Chinese: "Boss… my life is yours… I'd face any danger for you!" Han Yu laughed, patting his shoulder: "We're family, don't be so formal."
The enhancements increased their appetites. Wanda, who usually ate half a bowl, devoured three; Quicksilver, a true glutton, ate nearly ten bowls. Ultron kept pace, also reaching ten bowls.
Han Yu shook his head, amused, cooking more to satisfy them.
After finishing, Quicksilver cleaned the table at super speed — under two seconds, everything was spotless.
"Pietro, you're amazing," Han Yu commented.
Full and satisfied, they moved to an exciting gaming session upstairs, launching GTA.
"What should we play? A heist mission?" Han Yu asked.
"Let's do ranked. I've added team deathmatch and demolition modes — they're getting great reviews," Ultron replied.
"Oh? Already online? Sounds fun. Let's try it!"
In this GTA, Han Yu could implement modes never seen before, thanks to Ultron's immense computational power and the essential cash injection. This confidence allowed him to innovate without worrying about competitors.
