The Ancient One spoke—but she lied slightly. She wasn't telling Wanda to rest; she herself needed to adjust her mindset. After all, the people around Han Yu were all prodigies.
Han Yu alone was already ridiculously strong, but the women around him were frighteningly powerful too. The Ancient One thought that if Han Yu knew how to teach magic, Wanda would already have reached Supreme Mage level—leaving her with nothing to do.
The Ancient One suddenly felt like all her years had been wasted—this young girl had completely reshaped her worldview.
Meanwhile, Han Yu and the others had arrived at the S.H.I.E.L.D. headquarters. As soon as they entered, Han Yu sensed many eyes on them. Several people whispered to one another, pointing subtly at him.
Though it looked hostile, upon closer inspection, none of them had ill intent. Their expressions were full of surprise—or perhaps delight.
Han Yu gestured to his face and asked Ultron and Quicksilver, "Did I do something wrong today?"
Quicksilver shook his head blankly, but Ultron understood. His current body was so well-built that in any story, he would be a natural protagonist. With his enhanced senses, he caught the faint discussions.
Ultron said with a smirk, "It seems your achievements—defeating Hydra and dealing with Sokovia—have spread throughout S.H.I.E.L.D. Everyone's talking about you. All positive remarks, no slander. Some even say you must be S.H.I.E.L.D.'s secret director—they're shocked by your age."
Han Yu rolled his eyes at Ultron's obvious flattery. He muttered, "S.H.I.E.L.D.'s secrecy is terrible… my identity is completely exposed."
They took the elevator to the top floor, and Han Yu quietly stood at the back. Eventually, it would just be the three of them anyway.
Along the way, the elevator stopped several times. Every person who saw Han Yu looked astonished, secretly noting how much younger he appeared in real life than in photos.
Han Yu felt slightly uneasy, mostly because Ultron and Quicksilver kept giving him looks of admiration, even chiming in during the whispers.
"Keep talking, and I'll throw you two out of the elevator!" Han Yu muttered softly. Both immediately went silent—they knew he could do it. Even if they survived, Han Yu would have no qualms.
At the top floor, Nick Fury, Captain America, Natasha, and even the Winter Soldier were already there discussing something.
"Han is here," said Cap, shaking Han Yu's hand. Seeing the two companions behind him, he realized they were from Han Yu's "store." Since Han Yu was effectively now a S.H.I.E.L.D. director, anyone he brought along was untouchable.
Anyone accompanying Han Yu must also be a powerful fighter. Cap smiled and invited them to sit.
"What's the situation?" Han Yu asked.
"Our satellites are tracking Pierce constantly. As soon as he shows up, we can detect him immediately," Natasha replied.
"How are you detecting him? Normal facial recognition?" Han Yu asked.
"Yes, but our systems are extensive. This is sufficient," Natasha said.
"Clearly, this isn't enough," Han Yu said, looking at Ultron. Ultron nodded, understanding without needing words.
Ultron approached a computer, fingers flying across a keyboard. It was hard to imagine such a tall, muscular figure handling such a tiny keyboard with precision.
"Steve, look at his fingers," the Winter Soldier whispered.
Cap noticed green miniature light beams under Ultron's fingers, each strike hitting the keyboard with pinpoint accuracy. That's how he could type flawlessly.
"What are you doing?" Fury asked. This computer was connected to a large portion of S.H.I.E.L.D.'s intel. Seeing Ultron typing rapidly—even if he belonged to Han Yu—Fury was understandably wary.
"Done," Ultron said, stopping. He looked at Han Yu, who nodded. Ultron continued:
"This is a program our leader developed: the X System. A super-surveillance system. I've uploaded it to S.H.I.E.L.D.'s satellites. Searching will be much faster now."
"Really? I don't believe it," Fury said. S.H.I.E.L.D.'s satellite reconnaissance was world-class. A system stronger than theirs seemed unbelievable.
"We'll see," Ultron said. "The X System can automatically pull DNA records from its database based on target characteristics, scanning the entire world. It can analyze behavior patterns, and even if someone uses disguise, subtle habits remain. The X System detects those tiny deviations to identify them."
Scanning by behavior and DNA? If this system truly existed, no one could hide.
Fury and the others looked at Han Yu, who smiled faintly. This young man always surprised them.
At that moment, Ultron spoke again:
"Target found!"
"Where?"
"The system shows Pierce… is inside this building!"
