"Hello, chosen Hero. My name is Listarte. I am a goddess residing in a place called the 'Unified Divine Realm.' Due to certain reasons, I summoned you from the lower world to this dimensional realm. Your task is to save a world that has been taken over by the Demon Lord—Gaia Brand!"
Listarte placed her hands at her sides, golden radiance blooming around her for some reason, making her look very much like a goddess descending from the heavens. Though she said that confidently, her inner thoughts had already flipped dramatically.
'Hehehe, shocked, aren't you? I'm a goddess, after all—basically the kind of perfect woman otakus dream of but can never reach. If he falls hopelessly in love with me, well… not my fault. I'm just too beautiful and charming.'
As she spoke, she even lifted a hand to brush her hair. For ordinary men, that gesture would indeed be seductive.
But the man standing before her was Han Yu.
Seeing Han Yu frozen and silent, Listarte assumed he had been captivated. Just as she was about to continue, Han Yu suddenly asked:
"Was that light behind you something you generate yourself?"

"This human is such a pain," Listarte muttered, her mouth twisting downward in an exaggerated grimace that no normal person could make. She comforted herself in her mind:"Forget it… maybe he's just panicking because he was suddenly summoned here. He hasn't grasped the situation yet. I'm a goddess after all—of course I should be patient with mortals."
Watching her mumble to herself and grin at random intervals, Han Yu already knew exactly what she was thinking.
"You're thinking something like, 'He was suddenly summoned here and doesn't understand the situation, and since I'm a goddess I should take care of him,' right?"
"Ah—huh? How did you know?!"Listarte's expression shifted dramatically again, becoming comically exaggerated.
Han Yu rolled his eyes. He didn't even want to bother arguing with her. A goddess? Her thoughts were plastered all over her face."This goddess is useless… System, are you trying to get me killed this time?"
He silently complained to his General Store System. But there was nothing he could do—he had clearly said that he wanted to accept missions whenever they appeared. He just didn't expect to get thrown into a passive adventure mission like this.
"This is really annoying," Han Yu muttered, rubbing his temples.
"All right, all right. First, take a look at your stat values. Once you know your exact numbers, we can decide where to start training. Just say 'Status.'"
Listarte composed herself and spoke to him.
As she spoke, two windows popped up before Han Yu—visible only to him.One said "Hidden Attributes."The other said "Visible Attributes."
"She should be referring to the second one."
Han Yu repeated the word Listarte had just said. A new window appeared—this one visible to her as well—displaying his current stats.

"My stats are high—why are you the one feeling pleased about it?" Han Yu glanced at her, then looked back at the panel. He stroked his chin, ignoring Listarte's endless babbling.
Sure, these are high. But a mission from the system is never this simple.
"Well, you won't really feel how strong you are until you test it out in real combat," she said cheerfully. "Come on, let's get going—to the country occupied by the Demon Lord, Gaia Brand!"
Listarte summoned a portal and smiled at Han Yu.
Han Yu nodded, but just as he lifted his foot, he remembered something the system said earlier.
"Complete the mission cautiously." If I just go straight in, that's no different from usual…
