After pouring the molten metal into the mold, Eitri opened it, revealing the axe head and the axe end of the Stormbreaker.
"Right, I need to find a suitable handle," Eitri muttered, turning to look for the right tools.
Han Yu looked at the two axe parts, thought for a moment, and reached out. Green light energy flew towards the axe head and handle, merging the two pieces together, and then forming a handle over a meter long.
After the axe was assembled, it magically floated up on its own, as if it had intelligence, and flew into Han Yu's hand. Eitri, who was holding several metal handles, witnessed this.
Han Yu said a little awkwardly, "Uh, this isn't my doing. I just wanted to make a handle, and it did it itself."
Eitri walked over, looked at the handle, and threw away the things in his hands, saying with satisfaction, "Not bad. This handle you made from energy is better; it can withstand more energy."
Han Yu said, "So, how did it fly into my hand? Can others use it?"
Eitri said, "Of course, others can use it. It flew into your hand because after it was formed, it chose the person here who was most suitable for it. However, it wasn't like Odin giving it a magic spell, so it's not like Thor's hammer, where only a few people can lift it."
Hearing this, Han Yu nodded in understanding, but Eitri's words made someone else in the room feel displeased.
"Ugh, this axe, I'm the strongest person here, right? Yet it didn't fly to my hand!"
Galacta ran over, snatched the axe from Han Yu's hand, and berated it.
Stormbreaker couldn't speak, so no matter what she said, it remained unmoved.
Han Yu took out a few of the nuclear energy pellets he had prepared and handed them to Galacta, then took the axe and said, "You're right, it's this axe's fault. Let's not worry about it. Come on, have something to eat and calm down."
Seeing the delicious food, Galacta's eyes lit up, and she forgot all about the axe, taking the nuclear energy pellets and eating them on her own.
This scene made the others roll their eyes. "You really spoil her."
Weighing Stormbreaker, since it had flown to his hand, it meant he also had the right to use it. Han Yu then said, "Alright, everything is ready. Let's go back to Asgard!"
"Alright!" Loki clenched his fists, he had been waiting for this moment, and it had finally arrived.
Hela nodded silently, "Are we finally going back?"
Galacta munched on a nuclear energy pellet, blinking her eyes.
Seeing this, Han Yu smiled slightly and raised Stormbreaker in his hand. A rainbow light descended from the sky, enveloping everyone.
After the light disappeared, the figures of Han Yu and the others vanished from before Eitri.
Eitri gazed into the distance, murmuring, "You must help Asgard overcome this tribulation, Han Yu."
Asgard, the main hall.
The originally empty main hall was now packed with people. Women and children were crammed into the hall, and a subtle weariness was etched on everyone's faces. Explosions occasionally boomed outside, causing small waves of panicked cries, but these were quickly calmed by those nearby.
On the throne sat not Odin, but Thor.
"Thor, the Vanir have advanced to the outer houses. The shield protecting this hall should hold for another ten days, barring any unforeseen circumstances."
Heimdall, the guardian of the Bifrost, stood beside Thor, reporting on the latest battle situation.
Thor's eyes had lost much of their previous… naiveté. They were now stern and sharp, as if a single glance could inflict a thousand cuts.
Listening to Heimdall's report, Thor sighed softly and asked, "Any news from Loki?"
"I've been monitoring the Bifrost closely. Ever since we sent Loki on his last mission, the defenses there have become even stricter. There's been no activity from the Bifrost so far." Heimdall also sighed, then added, "If I still had my sight, we wouldn't be so worried."
Heimdall opened his eyes, but instead of the deep, star-filled gaze he once possessed, his eyes were now pure white.
A scar ran across his face, from the corner of his left eye to the corner of his right. This cut had blinded him, inflicted by the Vanir God-King himself. It was because of this that he could no longer see all things in the universe as he once had.
Without those eyes, Heimdall was just an Asgardian, only slightly stronger than a regular Asgardian warrior.
He could still see now because he had a pair of false eyes. Otherwise, even normal combat would be difficult for him. Thor nodded sadly. He still held a sliver of hope for Loki. Although his brother often caused him trouble, he wouldn't betray him in a situation like this.
This was also why Loki always caused trouble for him, yet Thor had never truly tried to kill him.
Just as the two were talking, the crowd in the distance suddenly stirred. Thor stood up, his right hand outstretched, and the Mjolnir beside him flew into his hand.
"What's happening?" Thor asked.
"Someone has invaded the north!" a frontline warrior reported.
"The north... isn't that where the shield's energy source is located?" Heimdall exclaimed in alarm.
The moment the words fell, a thunderous rumble echoed in Heimdall's ears. Turning his head, he saw that Thor had vanished, already taking flight with his hammer.
Heimdall couldn't help but exclaim, "Thor's strength has increased remarkably in this time. Even without his hammer, he can fly at this speed. What he experienced in the Dark Realm has truly had a profound impact on him."
With that, Heimdall set off as well, running to catch up with Thor.
When Thor reached the energy source for the force field, he immediately sensed something was wrong as he reached the entrance. The Asgardian warriors guarding the energy source were all down.
Due to the devastating damage caused by the Dark Elves' previous intrusion into Asgard, full repairs were impossible. Asgard had used all its available resources to create a temporary force field device. Thor had sent more people to protect this device, but he hadn't expected it to be breached.
The moment Thor pushed open the door, he saw a person standing beside the energy device, shouting.
"For the Vanir Realm!"
"No!"
Thor sprinted forward, but he was too late. The explosion beat him to it, the massive energy blast sending him flying. He slammed hard into the wall.
Looking at the energy device, now a ruin once more, Thor muttered, "It's over, we're done for."
Heimdall ran over, his face falling as he witnessed the scene. This was their last hope!
