Chapter 14 - Some People Are Trash, and Some Cats Are Trash!

"Hello, ma'am, we're looking for this cat. Have you seen it?" Lucy held out the photo.

The black woman frowned. "What do you want with this cat?"

"It's our cat, Dudu. It hasn't come home in five days."

The comments flooded the screen.

"That woman's expression… she seems to know the cat."

"Is she a cat abuser?"

"I'm calling the police."

Lin Chen waved his hand. "Viewers, calm down. It's not as bad as you think."

"If that's what the Taoist says, then I'm relieved."

"Impossible, it can't be your cat." The Black woman shook her head vehemently.

"Why not? Look at these photos," Lucy said, showing them photos of her and the big orange cat on her phone.

The Black woman was stunned. "But… it's clearly my cat!"

Lucy's family immediately chimed in, insisting that the big orange cat was raised by them from a young age, showing the Black woman photos from their phones.

The Black woman started to believe them. She invited them into the yard, and they saw the big orange cat they'd been looking for, basking in the sun with many small fish snacks beside it.

"Dudu!" Lucy called out happily.

Dajü looked up, startled, as if caught red-handed after doing something mischievous!

Lucy looked at Dajü's bandaged hind leg. "What happened to Dudu?"

The Black woman said, "Zhuangzhuang was bitten by a stray dog a few days ago. I took it to a friend's pet hospital in the North District for a small surgery. It can't move around much right now."

"No wonder we couldn't find it at the nearby pet hospital."

"Zhuangzhuang? Its name is Dudu!" Lucy's brother said.

The Black woman shook her head. "Let me show you some photos."

Then she took out a stack of photo albums from her house, all of them featuring her and Dajü. "Zhuangzhuang has been with me for three years. It comes home every day."

Lucy was surprised. "It comes to our house every day too."

She looked at her phone. "Lin the Taoist, what's going on?"

Lin Chen laughed. "It's quite obvious, isn't it? This big orange cat was raised by both of you, you just didn't know it."

Lucy put a hand to her forehead. "So, we've raised Dudu for three years and didn't even know it has another home?!"

Lin Chen shook his head.

Lucy was pleasantly surprised. "Master, are you saying Dudu is mainly raised at my place?"

"What I'm saying is, this Dudu has more than just the two of you as owners. There are three other families in the dark, and it goes to visit them every day."

Lucy pointed at the big orange cat. "No wonder you wouldn't eat when the food was a little bad... So there's food somewhere else!"

The comments flooded in.

"Haha, I thought it was cat abuse, but it turns out the cat's toying with the human."

"Damn, this big orange cat is a time management master!"

"Confirmed: total scumbag cat!"

"There are scumbag men, and there are scumbag cats. No wonder it's so fat."

"This is a cat emperor, and the human is just its servant!"

"If it weren't for the Taoist, it could have been a scumbag for a few more years, haha."

"Lucy and the aunties were ultimately betrayed!"

"This little Taoist is so bad. How will the big orange cat eat from five families in the future? Cat life is boring!" Wildcat complained.

Lin Chen was speechless. Why was this Wildcat always going against him? Thinking about it, his only enemies were Master Rag and the Catwoman from last night. The tone clearly indicated she was a woman.

"Wildcat, are you that Black Rose from last night, the thorny kind? I just opened your car."

"Hmph, I just took your gun!" Catwoman retorted, unwilling to be outdone.

The comments exploded with excitement.

"Thorny rose, opened your car, took your gun?!"

"I suspect you guys are driving, and I have evidence!"

"Wuwu, no wonder the Taoist closed the live stream last night."

"Taoist, I'm one of the people who missed out on those few hours of traffic!"

"Wildcat, hurry up and post a photo. I want to see if you're worthy of my Taoist."

Wildcat typed, "Don't believe him, everyone. Yesterday, he deliberately forced an old lady to cross the street repeatedly, three times! After exhausting her, he pulled out a gun and robbed her!"

"You're making it up too much. If you have a gun to rob an old lady, do you need to exhaust her..."

"Exactly, it's too ridiculous. This hater didn't even graduate elementary school, right!"

"Yeah, the Taoist is so smart, such a stupid behavior couldn't possibly be him!" A trainee psychologist strongly supported Lin Chen.

Lin Chen's lips twitched, considering it praise from these online friends.

Catwoman was about to die of anger. Not only had she failed to expose the stinky Taoist, but she was also being mocked for not graduating elementary school!

Lin Chen laughed, "Actually, I helped the old lady cross the street yesterday. She deliberately said she dropped something, making me help her walk back and forth three times to exhaust me. Then, she pulled out a gun and robbed me, but luckily, I took the gun from her."

"Then, this lady thought I was robbing someone and came over to hit me without asking any questions. To avoid a conflict, I had to leave."

"You stole my motorcycle!"

"I was acting in self-defense, and you also took my gun and money, as well as a Misfortune Talisman worth a hundred bucks!"

"How dare you say that! That Misfortune Talisman of yours caused me a few bad luck incidents, and you actually carry a Misfortune Talisman with you! Are you serious?!" Catwoman was furious, typing furiously.

Lin Chen… "I didn't tell you to take it…"
