Catwoman lay on the balcony, watching Lin Chen ride his bat-style motorcycle out of the apartment.
She grabbed a nearby garbage can and hurled it down, cursing, "Scumbag! Watch out! Why don't you just die!"
Lin Chen waved at her without a word, slammed the throttle, and sped toward the police villa. The bike was too flashy for daytime; it was better to store it in the garage for now.
"Scumbag… no, this won't do," Catwoman muttered to herself as she watched him disappear.
Lin Chen didn't think much of it. Once he finished his errands, he returned home and slept.
By noon, he was woken—not by his own alarm, but by Harley and Widow Sister.
Harley yanked the quilt off him. "Master! The sun's nearly down and you're still sleeping, lazy pig!"
Lin Chen yawned and stretched. "Accompany me?"
Harley swatted his hand away. "Natalie's still on the first floor. We need to run some errands later!"
Lin Chen had no choice but to get up.
Widow Sister looked at him suspiciously. "Boss… you're not planning to be a thief again, right?"
"How do you know? I might steal jade or incense." Lin Chen sauntered over and pinned her against the wall.
The Widow Sister feigned innocence. "You're teasing! I'm a serious college student!"
Lin Chen rolled his eyes. "Sure, a Ph.D. student at your age… hehe."
The Widow Sister nearly went wild again.
The trio first went to Penguin's bank to deposit the money, intending to send it to orphanages worldwide.
"It's convenient having a bank nearby. Otherwise, saving this much money would be a huge hassle," Lin Chen sighed.
Suddenly, he realized he had too few cars for all the girls, and the supercar he had wasn't enough.
He rushed to a dealership and picked up a seven-seater "nanny car."
"Natalie, you'll use this for groceries and errands from now on."
The Widow Sister's eyes twitched. I… I really am the nanny now! A nanny car, fully equipped…
"Boss, my salary is so low, why do I get all these perks?" she asked.
Lin Chen pouted. "Too low? Want me to contact Batman for a job transfer? The Batcave's very comfortable."
Her eyes widened. "Does Batman really live in the Batcave?"
After gathering their supplies, the group began moving Lin Chen's belongings. Most of it was daily necessities—talisman paper, fortune-telling tools, some recently purchased jade, and small items for arranging arrays.
Boom! The roar of an engine. Catwoman arrived on her bat-motorcycle, hair whipping in the wind.
She was dressed in black leather jacket and pants, her figure flawless. She looked up at Lin Chen and said proudly, "Little Taoist Priest, what help do you need from me today?"
Lin Chen blinked. "You really stole my motorcycle?!"
"I came early this morning, I can bear it. Just let me ride along!"
"Why are you wearing something so tight while helping move things?" Lin Chen frowned.
"You need to look good while moving!" Catwoman quipped, posing seductively on the bike.
Harley ran over, jealous. "Is this the Batmobile Batman drove yesterday?"
Catwoman giggled. "I've wanted this motorcycle for so long… finally, hee hee."
Harley whispered, "Did you steal it after we parted this morning?"
Catwoman shook her head. "I didn't steal it. Don't ask too much—it came from a good friend."
"Long road ahead!" Harley stretched the words dramatically. "I want one too!"
Lin Chen sighed. "Arrangements are set. Batman has plenty more anyway."
The Widow Sister muttered under her breath, Batman… you really are something else!
The group loaded everything into cars: Lin Chen in a supercar with Harley, Widow Sister driving the white nanny car, and Catwoman riding her bike.
On the way to the Mid-Levels villa area, Widow Sister muttered to herself: I don't understand… where did I lose? Stature? Looks?!
At the villa, they saw a dozen suspicious-looking men waiting—some bald, some intimidating.
Lin Chen parked and stepped out, eyes scanning the group. He recognized a real estate broker among them and suspected their intentions.
The broker greeted him awkwardly. "Lin Daochang, this is Mr. Kenya's husband. He wants to buy your villa."
Lin Chen's eyes narrowed. Kenya's husband… hundreds of Goose Country gangsters… Gold Master Les Luther… very powerful in New York. They've noticed my villa.
The broker's gaze flicked to Catwoman, Harley, and Widow Sister.
Lin Chen smiled lightly. "Many envy what you have, and some even admire it."
Kenya's husband's eyes narrowed at Lin Chen. So someone's thinking about this villa…
Lin Chen ignored him. "Don't worry about it."
Kenya's husband muttered to himself, secretly cursing Lin Chen but decided not to act. "Eight million… I'll buy this villa."
Lin Chen blinked, incredulous. "You… buy it? Eight million?"
Harley Quinn protested. "We didn't agree! I spent so much time decorating this place!"
Lin Chen calmly glanced at the broker. With his water mirror and observation, he already knew the gangsters had been sent by Luther and intended to take this villa as a transit hub for illegal activities. They were determined to get it.
