For a quiet moment, a voice broke the heavy silence. I asked,
"Hey, what is all this?"
"Oh, you've never eaten a dessert?"
I stayed quiet for a bit, staring at her while she had a small generous smile on her face. Waiting for my reply, before I responded,
"Am I supposed to know that in this generation?"
"Well, you don't seem like a guy from the 19th century. So you could've spotted some desserts already."
Do I need evidence to prove I live longer than that? I don't think so.
I stared at her and the bag before nodding my head in reply, leaving her confused with my reply.
saying,
"You still haven't told me what they are"
"They're sweet. For example, cake."
She finally answered, though I'm confused. Asking her,
"I'm sorry but what does cake taste like?"
The silence between us was loud, we stared at each other for seconds, she seemed confused with my question. She responded, saddened by my backstory.
"Do you not have a childhood?"
"What is a childhood exactly?"
I asked, she looked as if she's going to snap in a minute and beat me up from asking too many questions.
After a few moments of thinking, she asked.
"Which generation were you born in?"
It was a difficult question, but if I could say one thing about it, the houses were much older than now.
In the old days, they used to use wood to make houses or even stay in a big cave. Although it seems quite old, it is really not.
From my experiences, I stumbled upon many kingdoms and caves...
While we're interacting normally, Yi Mei Lu had woken up. She seemed exhausted, did she have a nightmare?
Akiyama Suzu noticed her shifting and spoke to her,
"You're awake, I'm glad."
Yi Mei Lu's eyes slowly flattered open, looking up to see her firmly holding onto her wrist.
Then, she muttered under her breath. Her eyes were still flickering.
"Big sis..."
I was sitting beside them, watching as they had a conversation together.
Suddenly, the doors opened. When it opened, Yi Mei Lu's eyes immediately lit up and were anxious at the same time.
She hid behind me and Akiyama Suzu out of scaredness, her small hands tightening through our sleeves.
I looked at the TV, it was turning on. Saying,

"Brother Xiao... Protect me..."
As soon as I heard her, I pulled her closer to me for her safety. My eyebrows narrowed as I watched the people slowly coming in the train.
Akiyama Suzu was aware of the consequences while we're in the same train, but after they had come.
A different impression from Akiyama Suzu came, she wasn't afraid. Instead, her eyes softened as she saw who one of them were.
Although they were only two people who had come in, the other survivors must've been somewhere further than we are right now.
It was a lucky charm for Yi Mei Lu since they're only two people, one is a guy and one is a girl.
"Qiu Jing, it said we will meet new survivors, right?"
The voice seemed to be familiar with Akiyama Suzu as she looks as if trilled with the girl's voice.
Then after, the guy spoke,
"Yeah."
I noticed Yi Mei Lu shifted to look at them, perhaps both of them seem to know those two familiar people.
While I don't.
Yi Mei Lu turned to shake me by the arm out of excitement because of the guy's voice. She was pointing at him while waving her arm.
"Brother... Brother Xiao...! That is...!"
"Speak properly"
I replied, seemingly bothered by her shaking me. Slowly after, she glared at me before looking back up to the guy beside the girl. Her face returned to that excited expression.
"Suzu-chan!!!"
A loud voice of a girl, she ran towards Akiyama Suzu in happiness, grabbing both of her wrists and asked,
"Are you feeling any better?!"
The excitement in her voice as she spoke, there was even light in her eyes. The guy behind her seemed to have endured her excitement.
Akiyama Suzu muttered slowly,
"Zhu Yi Hua... I... Yes..."
Her eyes had light in them, too. There was a hint of them having a liking for each other.
Gradually, they started to talk for the past few minutes while Yi Mei Lu was happily talking about how charming and beautiful I am to the guy.
He could only introduce himself as "Qiu Jing" before getting interrupted by her nonsense.
"Brother Jing, do you have this guy beside me? I'm telling you, he has the most ethereal appearance ever!"
"It is not even for his appearance but his attitude and brain are so rich, so heavenly..."
She said those as if she was going to shed a tear while speaking. Qiu Jing replied,
"Rich and heavenly, you say?"
He said, taking a quick glance at me before getting his attention back to her. She was as excited as ever to know his answer about me
Her hands were pressed with each other as she lifted them to her lips, seemingly pleading for both of us. Although staring at him.
Eventually he had an awkward smile on his face, staring down at her pleading. What is she pleading for??
"You both would be such a good bond for each other"
We were confused yet flattered by her comment on us, Qiu Jing shook his head in disappointment.
"I don't think we would, as I already have someone in my heart."
The moment she heard his words, her expression went bizarre. I was astonished by his words.
She gasped and turned to shake me rapidly, yet again. Clearly bursting out of flustered with his words, as he watched us both.
The more she shook over and over, the more I'll be dying with my blood pressure high.
How come Akiyama Suzu and that girl could talk normally while I'm about to die here?
My hands tried reaching out to her arms, but for my misfortune luck, it didn't stop her from shaking me to death.
"Yi Mei... Lu..."
My mind was going insane, she won't stop!!
Qiu Jing watched us while giggling before placing his hand to her shoulder and talking with her as her hands started to fall down from my shoulders.
"Let's not bother him, what is your name?"
"My name? Address me as Yi Mei Lu."
She spoke so casually as if she hadn't made me almost vomit, while having that "innocent" smile on her face.
And it was thanks to him, I could've passed out by now. Leaning towards the seat while my arms were crossed, before my eyes started to close by itself from dizziness.
Although she had shaken me, she held on my wrist firmly, I reached out to hold onto my forehead.
"oh my heavenly gods...!"
I pondered as I started to have a headache from the shake.
Turning to the TV getting on by itself,
[ ! New map have unlocked ! ]
Before it shows the map of the place we're landing. It was a big map that seemed to take place in the winter season.
Yi Mei Lu was speechless, her eyes were wide open as she looked at the TV turning off again.
"Huh...?"
She muttered under her breath, turning towards all of us.
"I—"
Yet again, interrupted by the doors opening slowly, the cold wind coming inside. She shivered.
Then the TV turns on,

It had a glitch effect, turning off suddenly as the train stopped.
She turned to hold on my wrists in discomfortness, her eyes pleading for warmth.
"I'm sensitive to coldness..."
I nodded as a reply, placing a hand on her back to warm her up.
"Feels.... Peace."
She rested her eyes, with her head leaning to my shoulder before carrying her in a bridal way while on the way through the cold forest.
We were walking down the paths with thick snow. Zhu Yi Hua was not okay walking with anyone other than Akiyama Suzu, we didn't judge her for it.
But I felt something off would happen...
The sky was foggy and the trees were covered with snow. Qiu Jing was looking around the trees, observing them.
In a flash, an animal had crossed over to the other side of the forest in the fog. We were surprised. Qiu Jing spoke in amused,
"Let's continue on walking, definitely not bothering us."
Zhu Yi Hua seemed to not trust him, she narrowed her eyebrows in annoyance of his words.
"Enjoying people getting scared?"
She mumbled, holding on her hand firmly as safety. Seemingly protective.
As we continued on walking, Zhu Yi Hua was slowly walking with Akiyama Suzu, looking at the strange woods, in suspicion.
"Blow~"
As soon as we heard it, a big fog had covered our surroundings before we could blink in a second.
Qiu Jing turned to see around us, something was off. Two people were missing.
I watched him all confused, out of the fog as I was standing under a tree while holding onto Yi Mei Lu.
Where a mysteriously human-like fox with fox features was sitting on top of the tree.
