"What are you doing here Marcel, I have been looking for you?." Anna looked worried as she walked up to Marcel.
"Well I just ca...me to take in some fresh air." Marcel replied touching his hair.
Anna stared at him.
"Are you really okay, I mean how can you be in a dirty and vulgar garden like this, I mean look at it." Anna's face carried a disgusted look as she looked around.
"Don't you dare call this garden disgusting Anna, this is a special place for me. And you should understand it." Marcel's tone was rather harsh.
"Oh please spare me the details, you should have the servants look into the garden more. It doesn't suit a rich CEO's persona like you." Anna waved her hand in dismissal.
"Now come on, my parents want to see you. And when you do get the chance, you should come over to my parents home and I would take you to what a wealthy CEO garden should look like." Anna scoffed.
There was a noise in the gardens shrub.
Anna glanced at the direction with a puzzled look.
"What was that." She asked
Marcel was visibly frightened.
"Maybe just a mouse, they wander here every time. You are right Anna, maybe I should have the servants look into this garden." He tugged his tuxedo replying her with calmness.
"Jeez Marcel, you should really bring down this garden and turn it into a farmhouse." She shrugged.
Clinging to Marcel arms she walked off, dragging him impatiently.
Vanessa came off from the thick shrub, petals of flowers clinging to her red hair.
"That was close, I can't imagine what would had happened if Anna caught me. She would imagine the worst and I don't want that right now." She wiped sweats from her forehead
"Marcel told me I was special to him, what exactly is going on. Why is he acting like this all of a sudden, is he playing games with me to trick me into sleeping with him or is he just really showing affection for me." She thought as she removed the rose from her hair.
She smiled.
Vanessa stood close to Marcel as he shook hands with Anna's parents.
"Mr Parkinson was rather chubby, short and unremarkably ugly. He was nothing compared to his rather dashing wife mrs Parkinson. A sharp contrast between the both of them was widely visible. She was tall and had the delicate skin of a new born child, her dress was exquisitely expensive cutting off her figure in a jaw breaking sight, and her beautiful face captured the heart of every one she looked at." Vanessa thought.
"I don't think there is anything that would want to make Mr Parkinson cheat." She looked at him.
He caught her eye and winked, Vanessa almost threw up.
"Always as charming as ever Marcel, I am glad my daughter chose you." Mrs Parkinson smiled.
"I would love for the success of this marriage Mr Marcel, you are the perfect groom for Anna." He cast his gaze at Vanessa, sizing her up from head to toe.
He took a sip of his wine.
"Who is the glamorous lady Mr Marcel?." Mr Parkinson asked interested.
"She is my bodyguard sir, just a bodyguard from the usual assassination attempts on me." Marcel replied casually like Vanessa wasn't present.
"She is stunning I must say, where did you get such an enchanting bodyguard from?." Mr Parkinson asked his eyes eager.
Marcel gave a faint grin that didn't reach his eyes.
"She was just sent to me, I guess I really am lucky." Marcel replied in a amused look.
Anna glared at Vanessa as she tightened her grip on Marcel's arm.
"So how are the Investigations going." Mrs Parkinson asked eager to change the subject.
"So far according to the police, the arrested henchmen are not saying anything. Except the same thing which is ,'they would rather die than reveal anything." Marcel replied.
"That is too awful." Mrs Parkinson said biting her lower lip.
"The police are not using extreme force." Mr Parkinson chimed in, diverting his eyes to glance at Vanessa every least second.
"Who was their boss and what exactly do they have to do with Marcel, I remember when I had interrogated one of the henchman and he killed himself. Clearly these people were quite dangerous than I thought." She scanned the room.
She looked up to see Donald upstairs, his eyes looking around. He walked into a room, his phone still on his ear as he looked rather urgent.
"What are you planning Donald," she thought as she headed upstairs walking rather quickly.
She walked past some guests half drunk as they spoke gibberish.
Someone held her from behind.
"Excuse me, but I would like to have a word with you if you don't mind." Mr Parkinson smiled revealing a set of gold teeths.
Eeeew, Vanessa thought.
She removed her hands from his immediately, as she touched her wrists.
"How may I help you sir". She asked nervously.
"You see, when I first saw you. Your beauty amazed me beyond anything I could think of, you are Mr Marcel's bodyguard. I must say a girl like you shouldn't be doing a man's job. Marry me and I would take care of you more than anything, I would treat you like the queen you are." Mr Parkinson smiled, his tone convincing.
Vanessa glared at him
He raised his eyebrows.
Vanessa kicked his two legs with speed as the man collapsed on his knees groaning in pains.
"Are you not ashamed to ask a girl old enough to be your daughter a marriage proposal, disgusting man." She walked out on him.
"You would pay for that young lady," Mr Parkinson said still on his knees. His teeth gritted.
Vanessa ignored him and walked off heading for the room Donald walked into.
Marcel told me I am special to him and although I hate to admit.
She bit her lip.
"He kind of is special to me, although when he isn't arrogant and rude of course. I don't know why I feel so much affection for him but, I won't let anyone harm him no matter what. I don't know what your plans are Donald but I would find out eventually."
She bent her head and saw Donald talking on his phone, she eavesdropped.
"Hurry up with your plans, I want it done tonight. Don't worry about his bodyguard she won't get in the way, do not waste any more time. Once you sneak in and get it done I would double the pay, I want him gone for good tonight." He smiled as he dropped his phone into his pocket after a few seconds.
"Marcel, it's time you were left dead already," he chuckled.
