Chapter 11 - chapter 11 , black wolf bullet

Las and Eli sit in chairs like they're being punished.

Standing around them—glowering—are Roza, Karol, Sifu, and Grov.

Las has five cartoonish bumps on his head and keeps his face turned stubbornly to the left like a sulking kid.

Eli stares down at the floor, awkward and tense.

Las (muttering):

"What is that bir—"

Sifu lifts his staff with a sharp swish.

Las clamps his mouth shut, still pouting.

Grov (firm):

"How did you get inside?"

Las (blunt):

"We followed you."

Eli (quickly):

"No! He went in by himself—I'm not at fault!"

Karol (Eli's father, stern):

"Eli, how many times have I told you—children are forbidden from entering the clinic?"

Eli (raising her head, serious):

"I'm not a child."

Las (snickering, teasing):

"Child, child, chiiiild."

Eli (snapping):

"Shut up, gorilla-boy!"

Las:

"I'm not a gorilla… I'm a monkey! …You short cat."

Sifu (slamming his staff to the floor):

"Enough! Las, once again you disobeyed and did whatever came into your head.

The moment we leave here—I'll have you run around the city forty times!"

Karol (serious, turning to the others):

"So… what do we do now?"

Roza (Eli's mother, with a heavy sigh):

"Now? There's nothing we can do. They already know about the eagle."

Las leans forward, his eyes sparkling with curiosity despite the situation.

Las:

"Good! Since we already know a lot… then tell us even more!

Where did the eagle come from? How did he get injured?

Can he talk?"

Sifu's eyebrow twitches, rage building as he points his staff at Las.

Sifu (furious):

"I know exactly what to do with you…

Five hundred push-ups every single day!"

Las glares at Sifu, his voice shaking with anger.

"Five hundred push-ups?! Just because we saw an eagle?!"

Before Sifu can answer, Grov steps forward, his tone stern and commanding.

"That's enough, children."

He pulls the infirmary door open, eyes filled with frustration.

"Out."

Las and Eli step outside.

Las stuffs his hands into his pockets, storming off like a sulking child.

Eli lowers her head and follows quietly.

The door slams shut behind them.

Morning has broken. The streets of Rock City stir with life as animals emerge from their homes—walking, chatting, heading to their daily routines.

Las mutters under his breath, stubborn fire in his eyes.

"I'm going back in…"

Eli snaps at him immediately.

"Didn't you get enough of a beating already? You want more?!"

But Las shakes his head, determined.

"I'm going back."

Eli throws her arms up in frustration.

"Why are you such a monkey-brain?!"

Suddenly, from around the corner, three familiar figures appear—Vroom, Piu, and Skav.

Skav smirks.

"Well, well… what's this? A little lovers' quarrel?"

Las growls, face flushing red.

"Shut it, red-hair!"

Piu bursts into laughter.

"Ha! Las, those bumps on your head suit you perfectly!"

Las clenches his fists, trembling with rage, then storms off without another word.

Vroom tilts his head, glancing at Eli.

"What's wrong with monkey-brain?"

Eli

"He lost his banana."

She turns away, walking off in the opposite direction.

Skav scratches his head, confused.

"What's up with those two?"

Vroom, with a sly grin, narrows his eyes.

"Probably got scolded by Sifu. Didn't you see the bumps all over Las's head?"

The group bursts into laughter together, mocking Las.

Inside the clinic,

down in the surgical chamber…

Sifu and Grov stand over the eagle, watching silently.

Carol approaches, something clutched tightly in his hand.

He opens his palm—revealing the bullets.

They are black in color, each one shaped like a wolf's fang.

Karol (grimly):

"These bullets… their color is strange."

Grov's eyes widen in shock. His voice trembles as he mutters:

Grov:

"...Black Wolf."
