It's been a few weeks since classes at Beacon started, and the gang has been getting along greatly. After Nick snapped at Weiss, she's been trying to get on better terms with him, during that time, Nick told her about how his biological "father" was completely neglectful of him, his siblings and his mom, and left them years ago. This made Weiss surprised that she and Nick have something in common, a sour, non-existent, relationship with their "birth fathers". Nick also figured out that Yang and Ruby are half-sisters, with him revealing that he has an older half-brother, who is also a blonde like Yang, and, like Yang and Ruby, both Nick and his brother share the same "father", but have different mothers. Yang didn't waste any time to joke about how much Nick has in common with Ruby. Being that they both have an older half-sibling, who is the same gender as them, and is a blonde, from the same father as each other, but different mothers, and how Nick and Ruby both have Silver-Eyes, and red mixed in their hair. With Yang even joking that Nick and Ruby are "made for each other, and fated soulmates", much to Ruby's embarrassment, and Nick's amusement. Also, during these few weeks, Nick decided to tell his new friends about his Semblance; which he calls "Conjuration", and it's ability allows him to create anything he can visualize in his mind, or in his own words; "he can, literally, bring his imagination to life", from creating weapons, food, clothes, even living beings, and powers, with there being very few limits, such as how he can't alter reality itself, with the limit of what he can create being a small pocket dimension that he uses as storage, and another thing is that he doesn't need to understand how his creations work, only needing to know what he wants them to look like, and what he wants them to do. Everyone was very surprised and impressed by Nick's power, especially with how he can use his Semblance to give others multiple Semblances, which he demonstrated by giving each of them an extra Semblance called "Life Force", which, as the name suggests, doubles their life force, and by extension, doubles the effect of their Aura and Semblances. He also told them about a second power that resides in every living being, which he calls "Ki", with Nick explaining that it's the "meta-physical equivalent to Aura". This made them shocked that there is a second power similar to Aura, and Nick even unlocked each of their Ki, and taught them how to use it to enhance their physical abilities to superhuman level, as well as using their Ki to, actually, fly, and shoot energy blasts. Given their trainings, they all made amazing progress in controlling their Ki very quickly. Nick also gave his friends a "lesson" about Kamen Riders, like how each of his Rider forms have a different name, like the form he took while traveling through time, he was Kamen Rider Zi-O, during the initiation, he transformed into Kamen Rider Geats, and in Ports class, he became Kamen Rider Buffa. The rest of the gang were very amazed by this information. Not only that, but Nick also revealed that he isn't a Human, but is actually a Faunus. Specifically a Red Dragon Faunus, with him having wings, horns, and a tail, though he normally has them stored away to avoid inconveniences, like people getting his by his wings, or tripping over his tail. He also reveled that his skin is actually scales that are has strong a steel, and he can also breath and consume fire, as well as fire dust, a unique ability Dragon Faunus have. This made the others surprised, but they happily accepted him, including Weiss, who reveals that she doesn't hate Faunus, unlike most other people from Atlas, who are well known to secretly discriminate Faunus. Blake also revealed that she's a Faunus to, being a Black Cat Faunus. She was greatly shocked that Nick already knew she was a Faunus, sense she has the same last name a Ghira Belladonna, the current chieftain of Kuo Kuana, the capital city of the Faunus Kingdom; Wildoria, and previous leader of the White Fang, a Faunus organization who's mission is to ensure that the peace and equality of both Humans and Faunus remains. And while Nick and Atalanta don't care about others knowing they're Faunus, Blake asked the gang to keep her being a Faunus a secret, which they all agreed. Speaking of Atalanta, the gang got to know more about her and Erza. Like Ezra being an orphan, and she was a student from Sanctum High School, like Pyrrha and Jaune, and while Pyrrha was the winner of the Mistral Region Tournaments four years in a row, Erza was the runner-up, so the two a friendly rivalry between each other. Atalanta is also from Mistral, though her birth father apparently abandoned her in the woods because he wanted a son, and also because Atalanta was born with three animal traits instead of only one like Nick, being her having the ears, tail and claws of a lion. She was then adopted by a huntsmen couple named Artemis and Orion, who both raised and trained Atalanta to become a Huntress. Right now, we see Nick, who is transformed as Kamen Rider Tycoon NinjaFantasy Form, fighting fellow first-year student, Cardin Winchester, in Glynda's combat class, again. The reason for this being that Cardin, given his ego, overconfidence, cockiness, and complete lack of a brain, thought that if he defeated Nick in a one-on-one fight, then people would see him as "superior to the Kamen Rider". As we can all imagine, it's not going so well for him, as Nick has been beating him every time, for the past few weeks. And as Nick is Tycoon, and using both the Ninja Raise Buckle, which is most powerful when used by Tycoon, and the Fantasy Raise Buckle, Cardin isn't even able to land a single hit on Nick, who would either dodge with a Ninja Body Replacement Technique, or phase right through Cardin's attacks with Magic. Nick, on the other hand, is able to deliver powerful slashes with the Ninja Dueler, and kicks at his idiotic opponent.
KR Tycoon: "Alright, I'm already bored with this. I'm just gonna wrap this up right now."
Cardin: (is about to try and strike Tycoon) "Over my dead-!"
But he gets cut short as Tycoon activates his finisher.
Desire Driver: Ninja Fantasy Victory!
Tycoon then jumps into the air, doing a front flip, as his body gets encased in a barrier of green wind and energy shurikens, and a green magic circle appearing under his right foot, as he Rider Kicks Cardin, blowing him away.
Cardin: (tries to get back on his feet) "Why you...."
Glynda: "That's enough! (Cardin relents as she comes onto the stage, tapping on her tablet) Students, as you can see, Mr. Winchester's Aura has now dropped into the red. In a tournament-styled duel, this would indicate that Cardin is no longer fit for battle, and that the official may call the match. (while Cardin still lays on the floor in defeat, Glynda turns her head to look at the losing warrior as he pulls out a smaller tablet with his low, blinking stats, his Aura being at 10%, and that of his entire team) Mr. Winchester, it's been weeks now, and you have constantly challenged Mr. Brown to a match at every chance, only to suffer from fully expected defeat. Try to refrain from challenging those you don't stand a chance to defeat. And try to refer to your Scroll during combat as well. Gauging your Aura will help you decide when it's appropriate to attack, or when it is better to move to a more... defensive strategy. We wouldn't want you to be gobbled up by a Beowolf, now, would we?"
Tycoon then switches back to Nick and walks over to Glynda.
Nick: "Actually, Glynda, I'm pretty sure it's safe to say that everyone would actually appreciate it if that happened."
Glynda: "It's "Professor Goodwitch". (to the seated and standing students, such as: Yang, punching the air in anticipation; Weiss, shaking her fists with an excited smile; and Ruby, shaking her entire body with enthusiastic energy while squealing softly) Remember, everyone, the Vytal Festival is only a few months away! It won't be long before students from the other kingdoms start arriving in Vale, so keep practicing! Those who choose to compete in the combat tournament will be representing all of Vale!"
The bell rings, and students start leaving.
Time Skip...
We now see everyone in the cafeteria, as it's lunch break.
Nora: "So! There we were, in the middle of the night..."
Ren (off screen): "It was day."
Nora: (to Blake, paying no attention as she is lost in her book, and Yang, who is hanging on her every word with her hands cupping her face) "We were surrounded by Ursai..."
Ren: (holding a coffee cup) "They were Beowolves."
Nora: "Dozens of them!" (she screams this as she stands at the table of both Teams RWBY (Ruby), NAAE (Unimaginable) and JNPR (Juniper), where Weiss is ignoring Nora and filing her nails, Atalanta is focusing on her food, Ruby, Erza, Amber and Pyrrha are listening politely, Nick is listening out of amusement, and Jaune is messing with his food)
Ren: "Two of 'em."
Nora: (while Ruby, Nick and Pyrrha are now looking at a distant Jaune with concern) "But they were no match... And in the end, Ren and I took them down and made a boatload of Lien selling Ursa skin rugs!"
Nick: (looks at Ren) "Does she have this dream a lot?"
Ren: (sighs) "She's been having this recurring dream for nearly a month now."
Nick: "Oi caramba."
Pyrrha: (looking at her leader) "Jaune? Are you okay?"
Jaune: (snaps out of it, and turns toward them) "Huh? Oh, yeah! Why?"
Ruby: "It's just that you seem a little... not okay..."
Nick: "Yeah, you seem kinda out of it, dude."
Jaune: (as the others stop their distractions and stare at him) "Guys, I'm fine. Seriously! Look! (he holds up a thumb while laughing nervously until his attention is focused on the members of Team CRDL (Cardinal), standing around a girl with brown rabbit ears jutting from her hair as Cardin laughs at her and Sky Lark holds up his hands to his head in a mock interpretation of her unusual features)
Pyrrha: "Jaune, Cardin's been picking on you since the first week of school!"
Jaune: "Who? Cardin Winchester? Nah... He just likes to mess around! You know, practical jokes!"
Ruby: "He's a bully."
Jaune: (scoffs) "Oh, please! Name one time he's 'bullied' me."
Nick: "Dude, there's a list of all of the things that useless, stupid Trash-Face has done that is so long, I ran out of space to write, on both sides of the paper. Plus, I had to use an entire pack of pencils, and my figures got cramped from all of the writing. Before I was even close to finish writing down everything that loser has done."
A flashback shows Jaune on the way to class as Cardin is going the other way down the hall. When the two pass, Cardin knocks his arm into Jaune and makes him drop his book, then continuing on his way with his hands out as if daring anyone to challenge him.
Jaune: "Ah, come on!"
Nick then appears out of nowhere, transformed as Kamen Rider Punk-Jack Monster Form, and punched Cardin in the face so hard, he was sent flying into a wall. A second flashback shows that Jaune and Cardin are about to pass through a doorway, but Cardin clicks on Jaune's sheath and extends it into its shield form as he's going out, causing him to run into his own defense and have it block the exit.
Jaune: (grunts in frustration as he tries to lift his shield back out) "Come on...!"
Nick then appears out of nowhere, as Kamen Rider Geats Boost Form (on the lower half of his body), and roundhouse kicks Cardin in the face so hard, he was sent flying through a window. A THIRD flashback shows Glynda is in the locker room with several students, gesturing at the devices.
Glynda: "Each of you will be assigned one rocket-propelled locker to store your weapons and extra armor. Additionally, your locker can be sent to a custom location based on a six-digit code."
Hearing this, Cardin looks at Jaune - standing between him and the only open locker in the room - and the cliché plays itself out as Cardin quickly pushes a shocked Jaune into the small dark space and closes the door on him, pressing random buttons on the pad right after that.
Jaune: "What?! No, wait, wait! Get me out of here! Seriously! This isn't funny!"
But it's too late for him to protest, as the locker scrunches down and launches up with a burst of blue fire coming from its base. Cardin watches as the locker slowly soars across the sky.
Jaune: (still heard from within the locker) "Ahhh, coooome oooooooon...!"
However...Nick is then shown standing behind him, with a not-so-amused Glynda.
Glynda: "Mr. Winchester! Care to explain what you just did?"
However, before Cardin could do and/or say anything....Nick brought Steel out, activated Turbo Strength Mode, and punched Cardin with an upper-cut that sent him flying through the ceiling. Back in the present, the others are totally focused on him now.
Jaune: (attempts to laugh it off) "I didn't land far from the school!"
Nick: "That's because after I punched that worthless Trash-Face into orbit, I switched into Turbo Sonic Flight Mode, went after you, and brought you back. Before you were close to crash-landing into the ocean, where a Sea Feilong was in that area, and was going to eat you. And, yes, you did go far from the Academy."
A Sea Feilong is a large, serpent-like Dragon Grimm that dwells in the ocean.
Weiss: "While I do agree that Team CRDL (Cardinal) behave unacceptably, I question your violent ways of dealing with them, Nick."
Hearing this makes Nick glare at Weiss.
Atalanta: "I don't see any issues. Nick Brown is simply showing why he is a superior Alpha, while Cardin Winchester and his pack are nothing more then Omegas."
Hearing this makes the others confused.
Weiss: "I'm sorry, what?
Nick: "I think by "Alpha", she means me being a leader. And by "Pack", she means a team. Right? (Atalanta then nods to confirm this) I guess it makes sense that you'd use phrases like those, sense you were raised in the wild. No offence, Atalanta."
Atalanta: "Why would I take offence to that, Alpha? I was, literally, raised in the wild. Specifically, in the mountains. Plus, whenever my parents, along with my mother's brother, my Uncle Apollo, and their teammate, my Aunt Britomartis, were all busy with their responsibilities as Huntsmen and Huntresses, I would be under the care of an Ursa."
Blake: "What do you mean by that? "Under the care of an Ursa"?"
Atalanta: "My mother, Artemis, has the ability to control Creatures of Grimm."
Nick: "Huh. That's a very convenient Semblance."
Pyrrha: (shifting her attention back to her best friend) "Jaune, you know if you ever need help, you can just ask."
Nora: "Ooooh! (gets up from the table and presents her diabolical plan with a not-entirely-sane grin) We'll break his legs!"
Nick: "I've already done that to him, Nora. Several times. Along with his arms, ribcage, skull, and all of his limbs and bones, entirely. Same goes for his teammates. Their lucky the school's infirmary is run by a nurse who has a Semblance that can heal just about, almost any wound."
Jaune: "Guys, really, it's fine! Besides, it's not like he's only a jerk to me; he's a jerk to everyone."
They all look over as the laughing grows louder, mixed in with cries of pain from the rabbit girl, who's name is Velvet Scarletina, and is a second-year student, when one of her ears are tugged on by Cardin.
Velvet: "Ow! That hurts! (stops struggling and grimaces) Please, stop..."
Cardin: (continues laughing as he turns to his cronies) "I told you it was real!"
Russel Thrush: (still guffawing with his teammates) "What a freak!"
Nick shows an extremely angry face at this.
Pyrrha: "Atrocious. I can't stand people like him."
Blake: (staring daggers) "He's not the only one..."
Yang: "But, isn't what their doing-"
Amber: "Um, guys? Nick is gone."
This makes the others look at where Nick is, or at least was, sitting, seeing that he was in fact gone, with there being a fork that is extremely dented from a very strong grip being left on the table. Back at the table where Team Trash-Face (Cardinal) are harassing Velvet, we see chains suddenly wrapping around Cardin, and pulling him back, as we see the chains were made by Nick, who knees Cardin in the back, before grabbing the back of his head, and slams Cardin's face onto the table with so much force, that both the table and bench shatter in half, with Cardin's face now slammed onto the ground.
Nick: (stands up, looking very much not happy with the Trash-Face) "Is me constantly sending you to the infirmary for weeks not getting the message through that thick skull of yours?!"
We then see Ozpin and Glynda walking towards them, revealing that Nick went to get them.
Ozpin: "A bit extreme. Don't you think, Mr. Brown?"
Nick just angerly glares at the headmaster, showing that he doesn't want to hear it.
Ozpin: (not phased by the glare, and adjusts his glasses) "I retract my statement."
Sky Lark: (angry) "But he just attacked Cardin! Again!"
Ozpin: (has a look of disappointment for Team CRDL's (Cardinal) behaver) "You four are harassing Ms. Scarlatina, a second-year student, and I assume it's because she's a Faunus. You four should know that such discrimination is strictly illegal. And while I question Mr. Brown's way of dealing with you four for the past few weeks, it's clear his intentions are greatly justified. He stood up to bullies, especially ones doing illegal acts."
Nick: "I had to deal with putting people like them in their place during the Faunus War. I'd honestly rather not have to do it again. (looks at all of the other students in the cafeteria with anger) Though, apparently, nobody else was even going to so much as lift a finger, and let it happen!"
Ozpin: (shows disappointment) "Yes, it is indeed upsetting how nobody else in this room even attempted to aid Ms. Scarlatina when she needed help, especially due to the reason Team CRDL (Cardinal) are harassing her. This is one of many reason's why you, Mr. Brown, represent what it means to be a true Huntsman. It's fully expected from the first Huntsman."
This makes all of the other students look down in shame, as they all did in fact not even bother to try to help Velvet while she was being bullied.
Cardin: (weakly gets up, and tries to punch Nick) "Why, I'd oughta-"
But before he could finish, Nick effortlessly punches Cardin with his left fist, causing him to crash into three nearby tables.
It's the Hulk punching Thor scene from "The Avengers", and "Avengers Assemble", if you need an example or two.
Ozpin: "Okay, Mr. Brown. I believe you've done enough. Glynda? See to it that Team CRDL (Cardinal) receive their punishment, after Mr. Winchester is excused from the infirmary, of course."
Glynda: (uses her Semblance to fix the shattered tables and bench, and levitate the unconscious Cardin) "Understood, Professor Ozpin. Mr. Thrush, Mr. Bronzewing and Mr. Lark, come with me, now."
With that, Russel, Dove and Sky followed Glynda, while an upset Nick teleports back to his friends, unaware that Velvet was going to say something to him.
Nick: "I'll see you guys later, alright? Also, Blake, I know you're staring at me, even if it looks like you're reading. Keep that up and people might think you're head over heels for me."
Nick then teleports somewhere else, as the others are looking at Blake, who was shocked that Nick knew she was secretly looking at him, confused by what Nick said. A flashback to a week ago shows Blake in her team's room alone, reading a book, and not wearing her bow, as ever since she revealed her Faunus heritage to her friends, she now takes her bow off when she's in her teams room. As she was reading, Nick suddenly came in through the open window.
Nick: (looks around the room) "This is not my team's room. (notices Blake) Oh. Hi, Blake."
Blake: (looks up from her book to see Nick) "Hi, Nick. Um, why did you come into my room, through the window?"
Nick: "I thought this was my room."
Blake: (goes back to reading her book) "Well, it's not. You're room is next door."
Nick: "Yeah, I now. (leans on the edge of Yang's bed) So, what 'cha reading there, Blake?"
Blake: "Just one of my books."
Nick: "What's it called?"
Blake: "It's called; "Howling at the Moon"."
Nick: "What's it about?"
Blake: "It's about a beastly protagonist who can never reach the object of his affections."
Nick: "Like a love interest? Or a dog looking for it's favorite bone, or toy?"
Blake: "That last one is an odd reference. What makes you think it involves a dog?"
Nick: "No reason. I just make weird references like that. And I'm honestly more of a cat person then a dog person."
Blake: (looks at Nick with an unamused look) "Seriously?"
Nick: "I'm not saying that to tease you. My family are actually cat people. We even have a pet cat at home."
Blake: (keeps giving him an unamused look before going back to her book) "Okay then."
Nick: "I'm being honest Blake. (looks to his left and smirks, before looking at Blake again) So, what's this book about?"
Blake: (focusing on her book) "I already told you what it's about."
Nick: "Oh. No, not that book. This one I'm holding."
Blake: (not looking away from her book) "What book is it?"
Nick: "I don't know. I found it under your pillow. It's called "Ninjas of Love". Is it any good? Is does have an "interesting" tagline, though. "No shadow can conceal the **** of one enigma for long...""
Blake just reads her book, until her eyes widen from shock, as she then checks under her pillow, before looking to see that Nick is holding a book labeled "Ninjas of Love". This makes Blake panic, as she tries to tackle Nick, only for him to use superspeed to dodge, causing the Black Cat Faunus to faceplant onto the ground, while Nick is standing in the middle of the room, reading the book. Blake then tries to take the book again, only for Nick to create a forcefield, splitting the horrified Blake on one side of the room, while Nick was on the other side, still reading her book. As Nick was reading, a greatly mortified Blake desperately tried to ram through the energy barrier, "Rider Kicking" it, even shooting and/or slashing it with her Gambol Shroud, and throwing books at it, all of which having zero results. In the end, an exhausted, defeated Blake was now just lightly banging her fist on the barrier, all while Nick was reading her deepest, darkest secret.
Blake: (weakly) "Nick...please...just give me back my book..."
Nick: (still reading the book) "Not just yet, Blake. I'm almost done."
Blake: "This is my worst nightmare...I want to die..."
Eventually, Nick flipped a page and opens up a centerfold, he scans it from top to bottom, and once he get to the bottom, Nick smirks.
Nick: (leans on the barrier, while placing his left hand and his hip, and holds the book in his right hand) "Honestly, I think my "katana" is better then that."
Hearing Nick say that about his "katana" makes Blake lightly blush, as Nick then closes the book, puts it in his right hand, gets rid of the forcefield, and places his left hand under Blake's chin, forcing her to look at him.
Nick: "So, you're into these kinds of books, huh? Tell me...You interested in "reenacting" some of the scenes in this book with me?"
This makes Blake's entire face to blush a shade of red that's even more red then Ruby's cape, with steam coming out of all four of Blake's ears, from what Nick just offered to her.
Blake.EXE is not responding. Please reboot and wait.
Blake: (very, VERY, mortified) "I-I...Wha-?"
Before she could properly process this, the door to the room started to open. Reacting quickly, Nick tossed the "Ninjas of Love" book into his pocket dimension, uses Telekinesis to levitate Blake back to her bed, and leans back on the edge of Yang's bed. The door fully opens, as Ruby, Yang and Weiss enter the room.
Ruby: "Yeah, and- (notices Nick) Oh! Hey, Nick. What are you doing here?"
Nick: "Well, I thought I went through my room's window. But, as it turns out, it was not. So, me and Blake were just talking. I'll get going now. See ya later, girls."
With that, Nick then jumps out through the window.
Weiss: "Why did he jump through the window? We have this thing called a "door"."
What Ruby, Yang and Weiss didn't know, was that Blake was internally panicking that Nick still has her book. Later, we see that it is now nighttime, as Blake stepped outside onto a balcony, where Nick, with his Dragon traits out, is chilling on the edge, listening to music from earphones. He then turns off his music, removes his earbuds, and looks at Blake.
Nick: "There you are, Blake. I was getting bored of waiting for you to get here. (opens the portal to his pocket dimension, and pulls out the "Ninjas of Love" book, before tossing it to Blake, who catches it) Here's your book, by the way. Anyways, see ya tomorrow, alright?"
Blake: (stops Nick, while being guarded) "Hold on, Nick? Did you intend to "reenact" some scenes in my book with me?"
Nick just looks at Blake, before laughing at what she just said.
Nick: (laughing) "B-Blake! Y-You actually thought I was being serious?"
Blake: (unsure why he's laughing) "Isn't that why you took my book? And texted me to come here? Alone?"
Nick (still laughing) "N-No, Blake! I only tossed your book into my pocket dimension out of reflexes. I know you'd rather that nobody knew about you owning that book. And I asked you to come here so I could give it back. I wasn't being serious about that whole "reenacting" thing. I was just teasing you. It was just me messing with you."
This makes Blake mortified. She was prepared to take her book back by force, and was planning to slap Nick in the face if he was being serious, and was going to use the book as some form of blackmail to make her do what she thought he wanted. She now feels incredibly stupid for thinking he was being serious, and didn't think he was only messing with her.
Nick: (calms down) "Don't get me wrong, Blake. You're a very attractive girl, I admit that. But I'm not the type of person who'd force others to do something they don't want to do. And I never use blackmail if you're worried about that. And I promise I'm not going to tell anyone, including our friends, about you having a book like that, alright?
Blake then slightly smiles about hearing that Nick wasn't planning to force her to do something she wasn't comfortable with. But she also slightly blushes from Nick admitting that he thinks she is attractive.
Blake: (calms down from being mortified, and sighs while crossing her arms) "Fine. I forgive you. Admittingly, I was planning to hurt you if you were being serious. But, seeing as you respect my privacy, and won't tell anyone, I will forgive you. But, try doing something like this again, and I will make your time here at Beacon living nightmare. And I don't care that you're the Kamen Rider. Got it?"
Nick: (raises his hands up defensively) "Alright, alright. I promise not to do something like this again. Anyways, see you tomorrow, Kitten"
Nick then winks and finger guns at her, before teleporting away, as Blake just stands there alone.
Blake: "...Baka."
Back in the present, the gang are still staring at Blake, as they don't know about the whole thing from last week.
Yang: "Blake, what did Nick mean by you staring at him? Do you actually have a thing for him~?"
Blake: "No, I don't know what he was talking about."
Yang: "Well, if you do have a crush on Nick, then that would mean Ruby now has some competition for the Kamen Rider's affection~."
Ruby: (embarrassed by her half-sister's antics) "Yang! Will you stop that?!"
Yang: "What? You and Nick have so much in common with each other, Rubes. Plus, he's the one who personally recommended you to attend Beacon two-years early. Not to mention, he is your first ever friend here at school, and stood up for you when Weiss was being a jerk to you."
This makes Weiss look down in shame, as she still regrets how she behaved when they arrived at Beacon.
Yang: "Honestly, it's almost like fate, really. You and Nick could definitely be fated soulmates~. Honestly, I'd normally be worried if you got a crush. But sense it's Nick, I trust him with you."
Ruby: (extremely flustered) "I DO NOT HAVE A CRUSH ON NICK!!"
Yang: "Aww, come on, Ruby, there's nothing to be ashamed about having a crush on someone. And I really don't mind you going out with Nick. Though, don't think that doesn't mean I may not have my eyes on him, myself~"
Amber: "Yang, you constantly flirt with Nick almost every chance you get."
Yang: "Yeah, so? He's handsome, cute, and overall a great guy. He's definitely my type~"
Nora: "I sense the beginning of a love square. Though, if Weiss, Amber, Erza and Atalanta also have crushes on Nick, then that means it's a love octagon situation."
Ren: (sighs) "Nora, you may be looking too much into it, or seeing it the wrong way."
Time Skip...
We now see a uniformed, sleeping Jaune with his head resting in his hands while a constantly-zooming and fast-talking professor, named Bartholomew Oobleck, is in the middle of his hyperactive lecture, educating Nick, Erza, Atalanta, Weiss, Blake, Pyrrha and Velvet.
Oobleck: "Yes! Yes, prior to the Faunus Rights Revolution--more popularly known as the Faunus War-- (zooms up to the front of the class and the map covered in papers behind his desk) --humankind was quite, quite adamant about granting the Faunus population their own kingdom in the form of Wildoria as compensation for past mistreatment. (points at the map of said-area, which is a large, Dragon-shaped continent that is to the west of Vale, and north of Vacuo, with his stick, then zooms off to the side for a sip of his coffee before appearing in front of the desk) Now! While this must feel like ancient history to many of you, it is imperative to remember that these are relatively recent events! Why, the repercussions of the uprising can still be seen to this day! (zooms around the classroom more, sipping his coffee again before continuing to zoom and talk) Now! Have any among you been subjugated or discriminated because of your Faunus heritage?"
Some of the silhouetted students raise their hands. Velvet, after a moment, does the same.
Oobleck: "Dreadful, simply dreadful! Especially after the Faunus War, and the actions of the Kamen Rider, in which such acts of discrimination was declared strictly illegal across the globe! Remember, students, it is precisely this kind of ignorance that breeds violence! (takes another sip of his coffee) I mean, I mean, I mean just look at the Black Fang being formed! Faunus who have faced such horrid treatment at one or two points of their lives, including in modern times, forcing them to go down such a dark path! While the White Fang tries to ensure the peace and equality between Humans and Faunus remains strong! Now, which one of you young scholars can tell me what many theorize to be the turning point in the third year of the War? (a hand is raised) Yes?"
Weiss: "The battle at Fort Castle!"
Oobleck: "Precisely! And, who can tell me the advantage the Faunus had over General Lagune's forces?"
Nick: (raises his hand) "I can, sir!"
Oobleck: (zoom over into Nick's face, only to be stopped by Nick placing a finger on his forehead) "Mr. Brown! The legendary Kamen Rider, himself! Someone who was in fact present during the event! This is excellent! Excellent! What is the answer?"
Nick: "It's simple, really. The answer is that one of the advantages that the Faunus had over that guy's forces was their enhanced senses. Like better hearing, and night vision, along with other senses."
Oobleck: (zooming back behind his desk) "That is correct, Mr. Brown! Would anyone else perhaps care to share their thoughts on the subject!"
Blake: "General Lagune was inexperienced, and made the mistake of trying to ambush the Faunus and their Human allies in their sleep, not taking into account that there might be night scouts on patrol. His massive army was outmatched, and the general was captured."
Nick: "I honestly don't know how that guy even became a general in the first place. I barely needed to help the Faunus and their Human allies whatsoever in that battle."
Oobleck: (zooming away) "I see! Now then! Moving on!"
Time Skip...
When the lesson ended, everyone left, except for Nick, as Professor Oobleck wanted to ask him about his powers, which Nick happily answered the best he could, though much answer about this like how his gear works, as he had to explain that his Semblance didn't need him to know how his creations work or how they are made, only what he wants them to look like, and what he wants them to do. Though, Oobleck showed to be more then satisfied with the amount of information Nick gave him, and soon excused Nick to go join up with his friends, as Oobleck is suppose to have Team CRDL (Cardinal) arrive for a make-up class, as they couldn't due to Carden being in the infirmary, but not before Nick suggested that the professor switched to decaf, which Oobleck said he would keep the suggestion in mind.
Honestly, that guy really should switch to decaf.
Oobleck: "As I said to Mr. Brown, I will be keeping that to mind!"
Oh, for crying out loud! He can break the Fourth Wall, too?! I don't mind, but I'd prefer it being limited.
Time Skip...
We now see a dejected Jaune and Pyrrha come onto a rooftop of one of the buildings, with a clear view of the glowing green orbs in the central tower of Beacon.
Jaune: "Come on, Pyrrha, I know that I'm going through a hard time right now, but I'm not that depressed. You didn't have to bring me up here so you can give me the talk, again."
Pyrrha: "You know that I worry about you sometimes, Jaune. So, yes, I very much do need to give you "the talk" again. (the camera pans out to show the two on the roof as they talk with Cardin leaning in his windowsill right below them) Jaune, I know you're having a difficult time in class, but you're still a talented fighter, so...as your best friend, I want to help you!"
Jaune: "What do you mean?"
Pyrrha: "We can train up here after class where no one can bother us!"
Jaune: "Do you think I need that much help?"
Pyrrha: "N-no! No, that's not what I meant."
Jaune: "But you just said it."
Pyrrha: "Jaune, everybody needs a little push from time to time. It doesn't make you any different from the rest of us. You made it to Beacon! That speaks volumes of what you're capable of!"
Jaune: (turning away from her, lowering his head and voice) "You're wrong. I-I don't belong here."
Pyrrha: "That's a terrible thing to say! Of course you do!"
Jaune: (turning back around, now angry) "No, I don't! (sighs as Pyrrha looks bewildered) I'm nothing compared to the rest of you guys..." (turns his back to her so he doesn't have to face her)
Pyrrha: "Wh-what do you mean?"
Jaune: (voice going higher and higher) I mean, I don't have what it takes to be a Huntsman. The whole reason I even wanted to enroll into Sanctum High, was because I thought I have to be a warrior, like my family has for generations! I thought; if I didn't, I'd be a nobody! That I'd be an embarrassment to my family! Like I have to follow my family's legacy! My father, my grandfather, and his father before him were all warriors! They were all heroes! I wanted to be one, too! But I can't! I'm just never good enough! (looks at her again) I don't have amazing skills like you or others! I wasn't one of the top students back at Sanctum High, nor was I a tournament champion like you, or a second place tournament runner-up like Erza! I especially don't have some awesome superpower that makes me totally overpowered like Nick does! I mean...he's the Kamen Rider, for crying out loud! He's literally a war hero! Plus, he's the first huntsman in history! I don't even understand why he's attending Beacon as a student! He could be a professor here! Heck...he could become the headmaster! He probably already has his Huntsman License, too! And, don't forget, he personally recommended Ruby to be enrolled here, and she's 16! I'm nothing compared to you guys! I'm nothing but a Kamen Rider fanboy, who has a useless Semblance that only let's me powerup both my, and other people's, Aura! I'm nothing but a joke! I don't deserve to be a leader, I don't deserve to be here at Beacon, I don't deserve to be a Huntsman, and I especially don't deserve to your best frie-"
But, before he could finish talking, he was slapped in the face...by a very angry Pyrrha.
Jaune: (shocked that Pyrrha slapped him in the face) "P-Pyrrha?! D-Did you just slap-"
Pyrrha: (angrily grabs the collar of Jaune's hoodie, and aggressively shakes him back and forth) "I have been very patient with you this whole time! But you are now testing my patience, Jaune Arc! I am getting sick and tired of you insulting, and thinking little of yourself! You have amazing talent and skills to be a Huntsman! You shouldn't be comparing yourself to others! You are so much more then you think! And your Semblance is more useful then you believe! You can use your Semblance in more fights and ways then I can with mine, because my Semblance has limits to where, and how I can use it, while yours doesn't! You do deserve to attend this school! You do deserve to be a leader! You do deserve to be a Huntsman! And you are the only person, who I would proudly call my best friend in front of the whole world!"
She then let's go of Jaune, who is completely shocked by Pyrrha's anger, as she turns her back towards him, while crossing her arms.
Pyrrha: "Just...let me help you...let the others help you, too. You don't have to do this alone...we're all here for the same reason...we're all in this together, Jaune. And...it hurts me to see you be like this..."
She then walks away, as her footsteps get softer and softer until she leaves the roof, as Jaune just stands there alone.
Jaune: "Why do I always have to be the idiot..."
As he just stood there, a faint flash of light is seen behind him, before it fades.
Jaune: (looks over the edge of the tower) "What the heck was that?"
Nick: (appears behind him) "Oh, nothing. Just me erasing Team Trash-Faces' memories."
Jaune: (looking behind him at his friend/idol) "Nick?! Where the heck did you just come from?!"
Nick: "Uh, Team CRDL's dorm room? Maybe don't go through an emotional meltdown, and reveal your whole backstory, where a group of dumb Trash-Faces can here your venting. I'm just saying, buddy."
Jaune: "Oh..."
Nick: (crosses his arms) "So...you wanna get stronger?"
This makes Jaune look at Nick, confused by what he said.
