Chapter 6 - Sucessful evolution

And with that, they all secured the four corners of the mountain, firmly protecting Lilith from all danger that came close to her. And with this, an unavoidable blood shade started against the berserk beats that were coming with no end, no matter how many times they were killed.

Dashing forward, Sunny was about to pierce a shadow leopard by its neck. When he heard a horrifying, chilling scream, looking towards the source of the scream, Sunny saw one of his clones being torn apart. Parts from parts.

As Sunny instinctively brought both his daggers to his front to protect his self from the claw that was slamming towards his chest, slamming him directly to the ground, as a Small cloud of dust rose.

Not daring to wallow and wail in the pain that was breaking every part of his body. Sunny immediately got up, with one of his hands broken, dangling around lifeless. Sunny couldn't even feel that hand again, even if he wanted to.

But this fueled his anger even more. As he bit the lower part of his lips while jumping high into the air, so did his Clone as they all shouted in union summoning sigils. And with this they all pressed the daggers on their thumbs, making blood to drip into the ground simultaneously.

And with this, the whole mountain shook and quivered, as if something that had long since been asleep had woken up, and with a loud croaking sound that terrified most of the beasts present, a giant frog that was at least silver rank rolled its tongue out of its mouth in a circular motion.

Instantly killing hundreds of beats in the process. Seeing this, Sunny felt relieved as he collapsed on the ground while panting heavily. He had been on this for days, not ontill he was at his last limit did he use his last resort, and that was a frog that he purchased with a high amount of money.

Beasts like this didn't need to be contracted; the buyer could just forcefully use the dark spell to force the beasts to do his bidding. Even if it means the beast losing its life, its life and death were fully in control of the person who uses dark spells to bind their soul.

Though this method may look cruel, it was more effective. Supporting himself off the ground, Sunny walked towards Lilith Pupa, and at this point, the light that surrounded it began to condense into a holy light spirit stone.

While resting slightly on Lilith Pupa, on opening his eyes once more, both the mountain and the ground were littered with corpses of dead beasts as far as the eyes could see, but this was not without a price since Sunny could see various sizes of wounds on the frog's body.

But even with all this, the frog continued the assignment that was given to it, even if it did it against its will, but it was left with no choice, knowing fully well that its life was in the hands of Sunny.

Standing up, Sunny gently dusted the dust that was clinging to his body. His gaze was now on Lilith Pupa, which was starting to quiver and shake. "Looks like she is nearing the end of her evolution", Sunny taught.

As if sensing this, all the beats became even more berserk, trying everything to break Sunny's line of defence. But all was in vain, they were strong but the frog was stronger.

And with one last quiver, the pupa unravelled itself's self revealing what was within an upgraded version of Lilith, as she was unconsciously levitating meters away from the ground. As six majestic white wings spread themselves on her back, radiating holiness itself.

Hair fell down like silk, skin pale and smooth giving one the illusion of being in love with the moon. Around her, the air quivered and shook as if something was trying to forcefully break through space.

An illusory angel with fourteen wings manifested herself behind Lilith. Wings spread so wide that they reached and covered everything, eyes so holy that even the strongest of the strongest trembled and bowed down in reverence before it. The illusory angel only manifested for a brief moment before completely fading.

Opening her eyes slowly, an invisible beam of light spread across miles, as all the beasts began to drop to their deaths one after another. No matter how strong they were.

"Master" Lilith slowly murmured as if adapting to life itself, as she instantly vanished, reappearing once again in sunny embrace, as tears streamed down her face freely. As Sunny tightly hugged her, so tightly that it seemed like he didn't want life itself to snatch her away from him.

"It's okay, you are safe, " Sunny whispered, slowly running his hands across her hair, "Mas.... Master," Lilith said, wanting to say more, but her words were hung deep within her throat.

"Shh... you don't have to say anything, I'm glad that you're evolved safely". Sunny said as he hugged her tightly, hands across her waist.

"Master Lilith doesn't know how to thank you. It's painful to see what Master went through during the days while Lilith was still evolving and curing".

Lilith said with greatfulness, "hum".. and like this they stayed in this position for quite a while, emotionally expressing themselves through their warm hug. This was the moment Sunny wished that this moment could last forever.

"Master, I can sense a lot of powerful aura approaching here with rapid speed", Lilith said while still in sunny embrace. Looking straight ahead, Sunny couldn't sense or see any sign of anything approaching. But he knew that Lilith could never be wrong.

"Time to call it a day Sunny said", as he looked at the frog, which was bowing down in respect, You are hereby free Sunny said as a dark whirlpool manifested above the frog and with that, the sound of a chain breaking could be heard.

Inhaling deeply, the frog bowed once again deeply towards Sunny and Lilith, feeling relieved that Sunny kept the end of his promise. And with a large limp, the frog shot straight like a projectile, disappearing out of sight in no time.

"Guess it's time", Sunny said, as a whirlpool gathered around him and Lilith. Levitating them both slightly from the ground, stretching one of his hands forward, a golden-like key appeared in his hand.

Turning it slightly as if inserting and turning it inside its lock. And with a click sound, both Sunnyy and Lilith vanish, leaving behind the mountain of corpses.

Not long after, with a loud scream, a man on top of a gigantic bird, which seemed to cover the sky, looked at the place where the battle and evolution took place. With many others alongside him, also standing on their various summons.

At this point, they all had a bewildered expression written all over their face. "What in the name of hell happened here"? A man on a demonic sparrow shouted with pain clearly within his voice. But behind him were many other corrupted beings.

And like this, both the powerful figures of both races knew that once the righteous and corrupt paths crossed, a fight was inevitable. And with a loud yell, both sides clashed, in a battle that shook the core of the weeping willow forest. As various types of spells, magics, and elements clashed violently deep within the sky, causing a rumbling sound from time to time.
