Chapter 26: Forging Success—This Is a Spirit-Demonic Grade Sword!!!

After refining the Thousand-Refined Mithril,

Ye Ling quickly began the forging process.

He raised the Thousand-Refined Heavy Silver Hammer in his hand and struck hard at the Thousand-Refined Mithril that Li Xin had selected earlier, starting the shaping process.

Sigh, he had already mastered First-Grade Thousand Refinement, and was considered to be halfway to stepping into the realm of Spirit Refinement. But even so, he had yet to successfully forge even a single basic Hundred-Refined component.

Still, even though he hadn't succeeded once, over the past month he had been observing and studying the Divine Craftsman Notes in his mind. At least for now, forging a particularly exquisite sword wasn't an impossible task.

He wasn't trying to create any complex special device or engrave any difficult inscriptions.

So it wasn't too hard.

With that in mind, Ye Ling continued striking with his hammer, his body overflowing with vital energy and blood. Very soon, the rough shape of a sword took form under his hands. After cooling it down, he began another round of forging and smelting.

He was determined to make sure that the very first weapon he forged would reach an impeccable level.

"I have to say, my little brother really looks so handsome when he's forging. He may be small, but his masculinity is through the roof!"

Li Xin endured the intense heat nearby, glancing at Ye Ling with a smile in her eyes, clearly very pleased with him.

Her gaze quietly shifted toward the weapon Ye Ling was forging. She wanted to see just what level her little brother's first forged weapon could reach.

He had spiritual energy within him and was a genuine knight. Even as a beginner, it should be possible for him to forge an alloy weapon on his first try—possibly even a top-tier one.

Although some rare metals looked odd after forging, for a beginner to produce an alloy weapon on their first attempt was already impressive.

Especially since a sword carried such great significance.

From Li Xin's standpoint as a knight, she naturally wouldn't be interested in ordinary alloy weapons. But according to Ye Ling, this was the first weapon he had ever forged, and he intended to give it to her.

Just that thought made Li Xin deeply satisfied.

But as she looked over at Ye Ling's position and caught sight of the sword's shape, a trace of confusion flashed in her eyes. Then, all of a sudden, her eyes widened.

She had thought Ye Ling was simply forging an alloy weapon—ordinary, ineffective, maybe just a bit sharp.

But—

As Li Xin looked closer, she unexpectedly noticed that the aura emanating from the sword wasn't plain or mundane at all. Instead, it radiated a sharp edge, even flickering with traces of magical energy—special fluctuations flickering constantly.

"Is this… a magic-grade sword?"

"In other words, my little brother has already managed to forge a genuine magic-grade sword? How is that even possible? That kind of result usually takes an experienced blacksmith working with decent materials!"

Li Xin muttered.

Speaking of decent materials, yes, they had that—those special heavy silver pieces were definitely rare. Just two of them were worth nearly a hundred gold coins, which was the price of a standard magic weapon.

But Ye Ling's forging skills—how could he possibly forge a true magic-grade item?

With that thought, Li Xin steadied her mind and didn't hesitate any longer. She quietly watched on.

Her identity wasn't simple. She had seen more than just one or two magic-grade treasures and had even witnessed many forging processes.

So, with careful analysis, she could still discern what was going on.

But after analyzing it, her eyes widened again in shock.

She continued sensing the weapon's aura. From the power radiating from the sword Ye Ling had forged, she could tell that its level seemed to surpass even that of magic-grade weapons.

It had achieved what could only be described as a tier breakthrough!

That is to say—it had reached the Spirit-Demonic grade?

But how could that be possible?

When had Ye Ling ever learned to engrave formation arrays?

And not just any array—but one suitable for a Spirit-Demonic grade weapon?

Li Xin had no idea. She was completely stunned.

Meanwhile, Ye Ling had already entered the final stage of the forging process. The sword before him was nearly complete.

"I have to say, the forging techniques from the Divine Seal World are just on another level. Even without mentioning First-Grade Thousand Refinement, just ordinary Thousand Refinement is enough to crush most blacksmiths here."

"If I'm not wrong, the strongest blacksmiths in the Divine Seal World would only be around the Soul Refinement level—barely touching the threshold of Seventh Grade, and even then, not very skilled."

Ye Ling thought to himself.

From what he'd just finished, it was clear: Hundred Refinement produced alloy-grade gear. Ordinary Thousand Refinement created magic-grade weapons. Thousand Refinement Second Grade reached Spirit-Demonic level. And First Grade resulted in the highest quality Spirit-Demonic weapons!

Moreover, because of the innate properties and spiritual resonance brought by Thousand Refinement, when forging magic or Spirit-Demonic level weapons, there was no need to engrave runes at all. The weapon was already a complete masterpiece the moment the forging ended.

At least, that was the case for magic-grade and Spirit-Demonic weapons. As for Radiant-grade swords, Ye Ling hadn't tried one yet, so he didn't know the specifics.

Soon, while thinking, Ye Ling finished shaping the sword and allowed it to cool.

After making a few fine adjustments, a beautifully crafted sword with a gleaming, icy sheen appeared.

"Sister Xin," Ye Ling called out.

"What is it?" Li Xin walked over.

"Lend me your hand," Ye Ling said, grabbing her hand and using the sword to make a small cut. A drop of blood dripped onto the blade, and it immediately released a strange aura. A faint rose scent emerged, along with some additional ornamental designs.

"Even though enchantments and runes aren't necessary, awakening special abilities still needs the user's blood. Kind of annoying," Ye Ling muttered, shaking his head.

Then he released her delicate hand and handed the sword to her. "Sister Xin, it's done. Try out your new weapon."

Li Xin ignored the sting of pain and took the sword with a smile in her eyes. This was a sword from her younger brother—his very first.

Ahem… his first time forging a weapon.

Still, once a weapon was in hand, the first thing to do was sense its strength and potential.

She quickly began channeling spiritual energy into the sword. Immediately, she felt a sense of warmth and closeness—because her blood had entered the blade, it had formed a subtle bond with her.

Feeling this, a smile curled on Li Xin's lips.

It was already more responsive than the sword she'd used for over a year. Regardless of grade, that feeling of intimacy was unmatched.

As she continued channeling her power, she noticed that her spiritual energy flowed into the blade smoothly and steadily. It didn't feel unstable like alloy-grade weapons, which always risked damage. That was expected—after all, alloy swords could only withstand around 200 units of external energy and couldn't hold internal spiritual power at all.

"A magic-grade sword," she whispered.

"As expected of my brother."

Li Xin praised him silently—he had done well.

But as she kept injecting spiritual energy, she noticed something else.

There was a skill embedded within the blade.

And magic-grade weapons weren't capable of containing skills.

Which meant—

Li Xin: "!!!"

This was a Spirit-Demonic grade weapon!
