In front of them was a girl, chest pounding, sweat dripping down her neck, her skirt clinging to her skin.
Her boobs bounced with each breath, half covered, half peeking out, the sweat making the curve shine in the torchlight.
Their jaws almost dropped at the same time.
One swallowed hard, Adam's apple jumping like he just gulped a stone.
The other licked his lips without even knowing, smacking wet like he was tasting food in his dreams.
They didn't look confused anymore. They looked awake. Very awake. Like they forgot they were guards and remembered they were men.
One guard's eyes dropped. Straight down to his boobs. His lips twitched. His throat made a dry sound like he was choking.
The other guard's face turned red under the light of tourch. His helmet slid further down, covering half his eyes, but his gaze still locked on the sweat running between those two bouncing curves that refused to stay still.
Liu Yang's brain screamed inside.
"Fuck fuck fuck—they're staring! Why?! Why MY boobs?! Out of all the girls in the world, why the hell are they staring at the ones stuck on MY body?!"
He slapped his palm over his chest, pressing down. Bad move. The soft flesh only pushed up higher, rounder, like it wanted to burst free and bounce right into their mouths.
The guards froze even more, like statues. One even dropped his spear a little.
His soul screamed again.
"Oh god. I'm not a demon anymore—I'm a walking hentai cover!"
He leaned forward, gasping, one hand still clutching his chest, the other pointing weak at the gate.
"Guild… I need… the guild…"
The guards snapped out of their daze, both straightening fast, their helmets clanking.
"Y-yes, yes, miss!" one shouted, his voice too high. "The guild! Straight road, right ahead, can't miss it!"
The other saluted so hard his helmet almost flew off. "W-welcome to town, miss! Please, ah, take your time!"
Liu Yang walked past the gate, his head still spinning from what just happened. Not a single question, not a single check. No who are you? no show me your papers, nothing. He even got a salute. A damn salute.
His lips curled in a twitch. "That's it? That's all it takes? Sweat, boobs, and they let me through like I'm some princess of the empire?"
He rubbed his face with both hands, dragging down his cheeks. "Wow. So this is the true hidden cheat of this world. Forget swords, forget magic. The biggest power is just… having boobs. A real easy-pass ticket."
He sighed, long and deep, then muttered under his breath, "Hah… I sold my demon pride for a skirt."
Beside him, she tilted her head, blinking. "Master? What did you say?"
"Nothing!" Liu Yang barked quick, walking faster, his shoulders stiff.
The town was quiet. Too quiet. It was that time before morning, when stars were still up in the sky but the sun was trying to come out. People called it wolf's hour.
All the houses were shut. Gates locked. Windows closed. No voices. Nothing.
Liu Yang walked in the middle of the road. Not slow, not running, just that pace where his feet kept moving fast, one step after another, but not too fast. His skirt brushed against his legs every time he moved.
His eyes were restless. First left, then right. He looked at every house he passed. The houses were built with stone blocks, tall and strong, their windows shut with wooden planks. Some had chimneys with thin smoke still rising, some were dead cold, maybe no one lived there.
Between the houses, there were small gaps, narrow alleys that looked dark, like no one had walked through them in years.
Shops were lined between the houses, here and there too—a bakery with its sign hanging loose, a blacksmith's shop with hammers carved into the wood, a jeweler's shop with stones painted on the board. But all of them were closed, doors shut, no sound, no people.
The lamps lined both sides of the road in a row, one after another, glowing soft with the blue shine of magic stones.
They made the street bright enough to see, but the silence made it feel strange, almost too empty. The road was clean too.
Liu Yang's head kept turning left, right, again and again. His eyes searched for one thing. Just one sign. One board that said Guild.
His steps made sound, tok… tok… tok. The sound of their foot tapping on the road was the only sound.
"Damn… how hard can it be to find one guild sign? Isn't it supposed to be big? Or are they hiding it like a secret quest?"
"System," he muttered under his breath, "time check. How much do I got left before I pop back into demon boy form?"
The screen blinked in front of his eyes.
[Remaining Time: 12 minutes, 39 seconds.]
Liu Yang's face froze. His stomach sank. "Twelve minutes?! What the hell! I'm gonna get exposed before I even find the damn guild board!"
He stomped one foot down hard on the clean stone road, his teeth grinding. "Damn it! Why can't finding a guild be easy like in games? One shiny arrow floating on top of my head would be nice right now!"
He stomped his foot again, ready to scream at the sky, when his eyes caught it.
A board. Small, hanging a little crooked on the side of the street.
The letters were carved rough but clear.
[← Guild Hall]
They turned left.
And there it was.
On the right side of the street, a big building, wide, bigger than the rest. The walls were thick stone blocks, heavier than the small houses around.
On the front, a huge board hung high on top of Guild Building. The word [GUILD] was carved bold across it. Right above the letters, a dragon emblem curled, wings spread, tail wrapped under the word.
Liu Yang's eyes went wide. His chest lifted, like the whole world just dropped a reward in front of him.
"Finally… we found it" he said aloud, almost ready to cry.
