Chapter 46 - Chapter 46 - The Boob Run

System screen flashed in front of his eyes. A reminder.

[SYSTEM NOTICE]

[Host Time Remaining: 20 minutes]

[Charm Morph (Female) - Remaining MP: 420 / 780]

Then again words changed on System screen.

[MAIN QUEST: Cosplay Demon – Register at Human Guild]

[Time Limit: 20 minutes]

[Objective: Infiltrate the town. Register as an adventurer at the guild before Charm Morph expires.]

[Failure Condition: Charm Morph breaks → Demon identity exposed → Host level -1]

[Reward: EXP and ??? ]

Liu Yang's face froze. His lips twitched. His eyes almost popped out.

"...You're joking. You're seriously joking. NOW you tell me?! Twenty freakin' minutes left and you drop THIS on me?!"

The System screen flickered back, cold and calm.

[Correction: I was waiting for your tantrum to end.]

His whole body stiffened. "Wha—tantrum? TANTRUM?!" He kicked the dirt, flailed his arms like a drunk chicken. "You mean when I was crying about her being level 100, screaming WHY GOD, WHY, and pretending to shoot myself?!"

[Exactly. See? You understand.]

His jaw dropped. "Oh my god. You're mocking me."

[Oh no, Host. Mocking requires effort. This is just… me telling the truth. You're the one doing all the clown work.]

His hands flew up, yanking his own hair. "You… you smug little—! I swear I'll uninstall you!"

[Sure, go ahead. Rip me out. Then enjoy being a naked demon in the middle of a human town. Let's see how long you last.]

His mouth opened, closed, opened again. "…I hate you."

[Love you too, Host]

Liu Yang's eyes then hover over System screen. The pentality section. His face twisted. His lips curled like he just ate shit.

"Level… drop?!"

His hands grabbed his head, pulling his hair like he wanted to rip it out.

"No, no, no! I'm not going back to level 6! Do you even know how much grinding that was?!"

"Do you, System?! I killed third-rate hunters, I survived her nonstop chatter for 24 freakin' hours, and you wanna take a level from me?!"

He stomped his foot, chest heaving. "Hell no! Never! I'll crawl on my knees if I have to. I'm not dropping a level. Over my dead body!"

The timer on the screen ticked down. 19:59 → 19:58 → 19:57.

His eyes bulged. He snapped up, slapped his own cheeks hard.

"Move, Liu Yang! Move your ass! I am not gonna be level 6 again!"

Liu Yang lifted his knees high, pumping them like he was some Olympian runner, but in truth he was just a man stomping the ground with boobs bouncing up and down.

He grabbed his chest with one hand trying to hold both boobs down while he ran his legs pumping fast the stupid things bouncing all over the place with every step and it felt so damn weird like he didn't even know how to run anymore.

But holding the boobs didn't help anyway. They kept bouncing anyway. Left, right, up, down, slap slap slap with every step.

His face twisted. His jaw clenched. His brain screamed inside.

"Damn it! Who the hell invented boob physics?!"

He squeezed tighter, his palm pressing hard against the soft boobs, but they just spilled out around his hand, shaking worse.

"Oh god no—this is worse! This is like carrying two water balloons tied to my chest in a damn earthquake!"

However, behind him, She followed him close.

Her speed was clearly faster, her steps were light and smooth, but she held herself back, matching his pace. Where her eyes glowed with devotion, his face was nothing but panic.

As he looked back, her running was better than him. Her skirt barely even fluttered. Her chest moved but not wild like his.

Liu Yang's soul cracked.

"Wait… wait wait… why the fuck is she running fine?! Why am I the only one suffering from boob physics?!"

Every step shook his both boobs, every slap of boob made his brain scream louder.

His free arm moved up and down, but the other hand stayed glued to his chest, fingers squeezing tight.

"System! I swear to god! If I die, it won't be to a sword, it'll be to breast damage! Write that on my grave!"

Meanwhile, after running for a while all he could see was open ground soil cracked and dry dust rising in the air like a dead desert no grass no green only empty space that went on forever.

In the distance, the stone walls rose high. Thick. Heavy. Like a ring around the whole town.

One gate in the middle, wide and made from iron, torches burning on top. The light made the wall glow like gold, shadows stretching behind. The top was wide enough for soldiers to stand with bows ready.

But the two guards below didn't look ready. They leaned on the gate, helmets sliding down, armor shining like polished pans, their eyes half-shut like they were fighting sleep.

A stone road ran from the gate outward, straight and neat, but it didn't reach the forest.

It curved off far to the side, leaving a gap of dirt between the trees and the path. That was where Liu Yang had to cross—open land, nothing to hide.

His chest pounded his breath sharp. He raised one hand pointing forward like a commander while the other hand held his boobs tight trying to stop them from bouncing.

He sucked in air.

"System! Give me numbers!"

[Distance to gate: 650 meters.]

[Current speed: 14 km/h.]

[Estimated arrival time: 2 minutes, 47 seconds.]

"Good… good. Perfect." He raised his palm higher, fingers spread, then swung it down fast like he was commanding some invisible army.

"System Control… engage maximum run mode!"

[Reminder: You are not wearing a mecha, Host. You are just a cross-dressing demon with zero dignity left.]

"Shut up, System!" Liu Yang shouted in his head.

After two minutes and forty seven seconds they reached the gate. Liu Yang's legs shook like jelly about to fall his chest rising and falling fast his breath coming out like an old squeaky door.

The two guards leaned on the gate, one to the left, one to the right. Their helmets slid down low, their heads nodding like they'd fall asleep standing.

He bent forward one hand on his knee the other half raised in the air. His fingers bent weird like he was trying to flag down a ride.

His mouth hanging wide his breath spilling out hot and noisy like he might drop dead any second but still too stubborn to fall.

"Ex… excuse me…"

He sucked in air sharp, his whole body shaking with each breath. His lips moved again, but the words broke between gasps.

"Ex… excuse… me…"

His chest pumped hard, sweat running off his chin, hitting the dirt, his voice breaking weak like even speaking one word might finish him off.

The guards blinked. Their eyes went round, their mouths hanging open like they just woke up from a drunk nap and saw heaven standing in front of them.

One scratched his chin under the helmet, the other rubbed his eyes hard, like maybe he was dreaming.

Neither of two gaurds spoke. They just stared to him with wide round eyes.
