Lina's POV - Salvacion Medical Marketing
The office feels different when you're not running from yourself.
My company headquarters is exactly how I left it—modern, clean, efficient. But there's something sharper about it now. Maybe it's me. Maybe I'm the thing that's changed.
"Good morning, President Salvacion," Isabel says as I walk past her desk. My secretary is impeccably dressed, her dark hair pulled back in a perfect knot, her tablet already filled with the day's schedule. "You have fourteen messages, the Barcelona team is waiting for your 9 AM call, and the pharmaceutical partnership contracts are ready for review."
"Thank you, Isabel," I say. I mean it. She's been holding this place together while I was... gone. While I was dying in a hospital bed in a place I don't want to think about anymore.
