"This is the fake relic," said Rick as he placed the relic he created.
It looked very similar to the real relic. Crowne could barely tell the difference unless he looked more closely. He could recognize it because he had seen the real relic before. Meanwhile, the people in the Adventurers Guild center had never seen the real one.
This should be a very good trick. Crowne was satisfied with Rick's work, even though Rick's eye bags looked like they needed another pair of eye bags.
"How much do I need to pay?" asked Crowne.
Rick shook his head. "Just pay ten gold coins. I need to buy several cups of beer to cure my exhaustion," he replied.
Crowne narrowed his eyes. He was slightly surprised by Rick's answer because he thought Rick would refuse to be paid. Crowne took out ten gold coins and placed them on the table.
"My advice. Do not drink too much beer. It is not good for your body."
